In the end, Cell was basing all of his strength on the Sayan part of his DNA. He had an SSJ like aura when powering up, used the Zenkai boost. The only two other genetic traits he was using was Piccolo's regeneration ability and Frieza's vacuum resistance. The only thing that would change is that Cell wouldn't be bale to casually threaten to blow up the planet since it would kill him too. Everything would go the same probably but the stakes would be marginally smaller (only the threat of death and tyranny, not destruction)

Honestly, aside from the What if Raditz turned good scenario, I don't see any reason to do one where Launch was still in the show. It wouldn't be very different aside from one more side character that doesn't really do anything of any plot significance in the way she used to in Dragon Ball. TienxLaunch wouldn't happen either because it was confirmed that it wouldn't have worked out between them.

To be honest, everything would go as normal except Launch was still around.

Shin hasn't been seeding life and Beerus has been destroying what little naturally develops for the stupidest of reasons. If they were both doing their jobs properly Universe 7 would very likely not be in the Tournament of Power.

Megakng579 Afterhours Zeno was planning on wiping out any universe with a mortal ranking below 7 I think. Goku then suggested a tournament so Zeno made a tournament to let one of the 'lower universes' to live on. He did this for three things 1: watch a good fight 2: destroy universes one by one 3: leave another one their for possible fun

But Adam, the point that Megakng, myself, and others here are making is if Shin and Beerus had been doing their jobs properly it's very likely that Universe 7 would have had a sufficient average moral level and be exempt from the universal destruction and the tournament just like universes 1, 5, 8, and 12 are exempt because their average mortal levels are 7 or higher.

I don't think Vegeta would be able to make that wish nor would he want to any more, the whole point of immortality was so he could defeat Freeza who at the time was LEAGUES above his power. Even if he did want to however he would have to go through piccolo who isn't dumb enough to believe Vegeta won't just kill him after the wish to make sure no one undoes it. Which leads into one of two things happening, ether Piccolo is killed and the dragon balls are gone leaving Vegeta mortal or Piccolo fuses with Kami earlier then expect and Vegeta is soundly defeated.

Riko Wolfin I can see that, but I don't believe Piccolo would try to stop him. Nor would anyone else. He saved them all and nobody cares about who "rules" the earth. He would not have been as humbled by his loss to Freeza. He would still understand that things would have been much worse without every other warrior. He would dominate man as a benevolent king, not a tyrant. He would make his intentions known to anyone in his way. His plans wouldn't hit the "we have to stop him" marks. From what we've seen of the political leaders of earth, they seem to change relatively often with no intervention from the Z fighters. If you look at all of them we've had both Human and dog person kings. So Vegeta becoming king would be like him choosing an earth job. The Dragon Balls have also been used for much more nefarious purposes in the past with no repercussions from Kami or Piccolo.

Piccolo would because he is literally the first person Vegeta is going to kill after getting his wish, plus Goku and friends aren't going to just let him take over Earth and gain immortality when he has a habit of killing innocent people for fun. Vegeta also didn't save anyone, he killed Frieza and they escaped on their own. Saving implies he cares enough about the rest of them to keep them alive and not kill them, which he clearly doesn't or else he would have saved Dende. At best he would keep Gohan alive but Piccolo, Krillin, or any other human he would kill for the fun of it. There is nothing to say he wouldn't be just as big of a Tyrant as Frieza was, he did kill Nappa for failing to beat Goku and that was the closest thing to family he had left. Now imagine him ruling over a race he could easily kill with a lazy back hand and a group of fighters that humiliated him both on earth and Namek. The Z fighters never have to get involved with the politics of the planet because its always against small armies at best and are hardly world threatening on the scale of normal villains they go against. Its also still a government with people running things and we never see anything wrong with it, in fact the only time bad things happen is when people like Vegeta show up. At worst you get robberies that ether Krillin and Gohan handle easily as well, hell Videl was able to before getting training in ki and she was just a normal girl. Vegeta is a warrior prince who values strength and pride above all else, he doesn't care about any laws or people as long as he makes/rules them. Vegeta at this time is no where near being a good let alone a fair, he doesn't have a child and wife to hold him down and he has nothing but hate for everyone on earth, if you remove the possibility for him to motivate himself to get stronger with a rival like goku by giving him immortality he is just going to do whatever entertains him as there is nothing else in his life.

Dallas Milewski I'd say he would be able to mix instant transmission into his combat style possibly training with it to be able to teleport around enemies landing blows and blasts but that's just my opinion

They managed to defeat Vegeta despite his ape form in the original though. But if Gohan was supersaiyan, Nappa would be defeated, without Goku fighting either saiyan. So by the time Vegeta transforms, he hasn't fought (or injured) Goku, he has no idea Goku is even a threat, and he never saw the kaioken, spirit bomb or kamehameha. Vegeta would be fully focused on Gohan, while Goku can charge a stronger spirit bomb. Even if Vegeta gets a breather from Gohan and notices the spirit bomb, he may not expect it to hurt him (he can't sense the energy). Krillin also has a far better shot with the Kienzan, while Goku and Gohan distract/blind Vegeta. Maybe Nappa was spared this time around, so he transforms and helps Vegeta fend everyone off (but he goes down during the fight). If everyone's defeated, we're back to the original, so Yajirobe will cut Vegeta's tail off. Which might be the best outcome, because if Gohan's tail regrows and he turns oozaru while he's super saiyan... Shenron might get some work to do...

At the time he had no hope of building a Saiyan empire because he was so much weaker than Frieza and knew that Frieza would wipe him and any attempt at creating a Saiyan out. Now however, he is the strongest in the universe, bar the Gods, so he has an opportunity to create a much greater empire than Frieza. Plus if Goku went Super Saiyan he would be the only sparring partner Vegeta could have so there'd be little point killing him.

After defeating Frieza, he would have time to think. He would recall his father and the other Saiyans and regret that they weren't there to see him become the super Saiyan of legend and defeat the tyrant that mocked them for so long. This, coupled with the pride he got from defeating Frieza would lead him to regret that there are no Saiyans for him to rule. Now that he has this power, they would be unstoppable!

Perfect Gamer, Yes I watched the anime. I've watched every single episode of DBZ so I understand the character development that Vegeta is capable of. After Akira Toriyama was done portraying Vegeta as a bad guy, there were some pretty quick changes. I believe this would still be true in this Scenario.

The Yardrat's didn't strike me as especially strong opponents... he kinda tested out his new strength killing frieza already. If he were to kill the yardrat's (and they didn't specifically offend him which I doubt), it would likely be after he learns instant transmission to prevent them from teaching anyone else that technique so others wouldn't use it against him. I would still hope they'd shower him with praise for killing the tyrant frieza though and he'd spare them, though.

Well, Zenkai boosts aren't limitless. It's been stated that a Saiyan only gets stronger so many times, and each time, the Zenkai isn't as potent.

Right, but during the Frieza fight they could have gone nonstop boosting until the tyrant hit 3rd or even 4th form. At the very least they could have taken on 50% Frieza. The super saiyan form would have still been needed in the end. There was once a DBZ dice RPG. Our group had to ban players from being saiyans because the game mechanic was abused so much.

Abhayispro 27 the Earth dragonballs can't do that, and even if they could, Vegeta has zero reason to do that. He doesn't give a damn about the Saiyans, especially now that they are all so weak.

I haven't watched the movie broly (just the team4star version) but didn't they try to trick vegeta there by giving him his own planet to rule again? And he goes on and on about saiyan pride as well as his own pride. He is still proud of his race. I can see it as a possibility. Of course immortality would probably be more important to him, as was mentioned.

Then Z ends with Raditz killing everyone.

Krillin, Chiaotzu, and Master Roshi don't die. Goku doesn't meet Yajirobe and doesn't get the power boost from the Ultra Divine Water. The eternal dragon doesn't die and so Goku doesn't meet Kami. The 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai ends with Goku narrowingly beating Tien, due to Goku being much weaker since he wasn't trained by Kami/Mr. Popo. Raditz arrives and thrashes Goku much like in the anime, except Piccolo isn't there to kill Raditz so when Krillin and Master Roshi come Master Roshi uses the Mafuba on Raditz, sealing him up. Goku still dies, as well as Master Roshi. Gohan isn't trained for the Saiyan attack since Piccolo isn't there and Goku is dead. Goku still impressed Kami and so he is taken to ask permission to train under King Kai like in the anime. Since Kami is involved the Earthlings are still trained by Mr. Popo. Master Roshi and Goku are revived prior to Vegeta and Nappa arriving. Since Piccolo and Gohan aren't there Goku arrives just before Krillin is killed. Goku is a bit weaker than he normally was, about 7,000. Everything plays out as normal until Vegeta becomes an Oozaru. Since Yajirobe isn't there it's up to Krillin to cut off Vegeta's tail. After the first one doesn't work, Krillin uses a solar flare to blind Vegeta, then a kienzan to cut off his tail. Without Gohan there to distract Vegeta Krillin wouldn't be able to get the Spirit Bomb from Goku and even if that was somehow managed it would have missed. Vegeta would have killed everyone and eventually the planet.

I imagine that the end results would be around the same. Cell would get destroyed one way or the other. Vegeta as a Super Saiyan 2 would hasten Cell's demise, as while he wouldn't necessarily be more powerful than Gohan, he still has a lot more experience. Cell would be faced with annihilation either way. Vegeta wipes him out, or, in taking out Vegeta as a Super Saiyan 2, Cell would be left with such debilitating energy drain from the fight (as with Goku) that Gohan would finish him off without trouble. On that note, I really doubt that Piccolo, Gohan, or even Vegeta at that point would be willing to do the same thing as Goku by giving him a senzu bean. Piccolo is far more practical, Gohan is already bloodlusted, and Vegeta would be in such a rage that he wouldn't even care if Cell was a challenge or not.

Honestly, I don't see why Vegeta would go on Yardrat to begin with. Goku went there by complete accident. Vegeta knows how to use a Saiyan pod.

Right. Since Vegeta doesn't come back with everyone else, he's not forced to spend time with Bulma (because he has no ship and can't leave) and eventually develop a relationship with her and once he does come back he'd have Instant Transmission and wouldn't ever be forced to stay anywhere again. In all honesty, in this timeline that Masako has invented, Trunks(and later Bra) would never exist.

Possibly, but I think that his ego boost would match his power boost; Vegeta would no longer think he need immortality as a Super Saiyan.

Yeah, much like in thecanon, I think he would realize immortality doesn't equal power, and now that he is a super Saiyan, he doesn't need that cheat code. He might end up putting himself up as ruler of Earth and with what Trunks says would be fueled to prove himself against these Androids that are more powerful than super Saiyan. Fueled enough to possibly put off taking over the Earth and just concentrate on training the form further. Also, Vegeta might be the one that gets the great virus instead having swapped places with Goku in going to Yardrat. Which would be interesting. Goku just staying home and training for Vegetas return and trying to obtain that power may just save his life. Afterall, the heart virus only showed upon Earth after Goku's return it could have been something caught on Planet Yardrat
