Wow, i've had this theory for awhile now. It's nice to see i'm not the only one. With plate tectonics consistently moving the ground, it's possible that evidence of past civilizations could have moved under the sea floor, or back into the mantle of the earth. Turning anything they might've left behind into lava or just burying it under far too much ocean water for us to get to.

What if this ancient civilization appeared on Earth, flourished, and then left the planet because the conditions were changing and they would go extinct if they stayed on Earth?

Everything makes perfect sense and I of course agree, but there is tons of phisical proof that archeology love to ignore, the megalithic architecture found worldwide, which was impossible for primitive cultures to build, such as the pyramids, the walls of Sacsayuaman and many others, dated on the last settlements over them.

That's always been in the back of my mind, learning Egyptians had steel that didn't rust, light bulbs and air conditioning thousands of years ago, let alone pyramids (we still can't move stones that large). Greece, Rome, China among others, did advanced things we still can't do. This may be our second or third time being where we are technologically now.

Civilization before must've left the earth because they knew that sun was gonna be a red giant and it takes so many light years to just leave the solar system. They must've also considered the time required to settle elsewhere. This is quite a big comment btw. But must think about it🤔🤔

The only hope in finding anything like this would be probably something like a high co2 level or some radiaktive isotops. I don't think plastics would survie. Because we already have microbes who can eat some of it and most of it will be just decinigrade.

The first thing to do is define what 'advanced' actually means. Do we mean on our level, near our level or beyond our level of technology. If it was at our level or beyond it then it's possible that the civilization had achieved space-launch capabilities. That means they may have launched satellites and, if very lucky, one or more of those made it to the Lagrange point where they might possibly still be.

What if.... the thing that ended one civilization becomes the base on which new civilizations formed. Suppose that the things that we consider NATURE today as an important part of our lives was something that ended some previous civilization. And these are the very relics that the previous civilization had left behind, it's just that we never realize it. If there will be a future civilization then maybe they might be made to live in radiations and plastics and other such things are just like PLANTS or OXYGEN to them.

I have thought for a very long time that there were at least one civilization on earth before us. We have invented the means to destroy all humans many times over but we just haven't used them on a massive scale yet. What if a civilization at least as advanced as ours couldn't help themselves and did use the means and destroyed all humans on the planet (except a few in some secluded forest)? And what if we send a super crazy zoom camera into space faster than the speed of light so the light that reaches it is from the past so we can really see who or what the earth really looked like.

The year 2020 onwards has been hard on humanity. We, as a species are facing extinction, or best case, another planet or environment to call home. But this is popping up more and more in my mind. And while I'm certainly no genius, not even going to play the blame game, I certainly would love to point people in the right direction at the very least. First place to look, is establish that there was indeed a civilization on a global scale before ours, two, determine what happened to them, see if they left anything behind that might help us, three, ensure that they survived, maybe here, maybe on another planet, maybe under the oceans. If we can get a core group of people, give them free reign, and see how they work. And they will. If not for you or me, but at least for their own families.
