I just returned from a 28 day vacation Japan. It was my 4th time in Japan, but all the previous visits were short stays in Tokyo for work and I had no time to explore on my own. This time I went all over. Staging in Tokyo, Kanazawa, Gifu, Nagoya and Hiroshima with day trips from each. My next trip will probably be similar... another month of solo travel, but I'll visit more than just Honshu.
I made a mistake coming to Japan during rainy season and typhoon, scariest bumpy airplane landing ever and rain flooded stoped shinkansen tracks, had to spend night siting on floor of Tokyo station until next day.
We went to Tokyo Disney the first time we visited Japan. It was about zero degrees in temp and rained so hard the place was like one giant deep puddle. I'm going to say it was one of the worst days of my life. I'm never going back there.
It actually sucks. You’ve got long snaking long for snacks and the whole population of japan that go there at any given time, it doesn’t matter if it’s a normal day you have to wait so long . Even if you have their fast pass thats not really effective.
I mean, same could be said of any place if the weather is bad which might be a tad unfair to the place. And Disney whether it’s L.A, Florida, Paris or Tokyo is always gonna have ridiculously long queues everywhere. Go when it’s bad weather and you’re setting yourself up to have a horrible time.
The Tokyo area alone has elements of all of Japan. There is a countryside rich in nature. There are retro downtowns. There are hot springs and inns. There are many shrines and temples. There are beautiful seas and mountains. There are towns with history. Each place has its own culture. There are many hidden gems, and even in the suburbs of Tokyo, there is a lot of depth. Discover a new and unknown Tokyo. It might be interesting to go on a tour to explore the depths of Tokyo.
started watching the shorts, can definitely say that the cultural similarities are there, except the expectation wise things. we all want the same thing but american men to a degree are more willing to give to the japanese culture, than the american women are. honestly this stuff is wholesome and i hope to see more of it
If I ever go yo Japan again I won't talk to Japanese people unless they talk to me first. And If a Japanese person want to practice English with me , I won't just run my mouth in Japanese to them. My Canadian Japanese girlfriend was u Upset with me that I didn't speak enliggh to the Japanese woman that was studying English my bad im sorry also I have bipolar so I speak English really fast
2:52. Rules. Yes for sure. I was always (self) conscious of myself when I was in Japan. I felt I was on display, seconds away from some sad horrible display of rudeness. Serious question, is there a good “Don’t Do This In Japan For Outsiders” book. A subject for an other episode? My Trip. Not Do. Wear shorts. As a dude I felt out of place arriving in shorts. Point of defense , I wore shorts to help avoid blood clots. Long trip. Next time I’d just wear baggy pants. Following the subject, my “Do” would be wardrobe. I’d dress more formally. Collared shirts, nice slacks. I felt poorly dressed for some reason. Also (haha) I wore kinda old clothes. See, I was told that on a big trip it is smart to pack clothes that you’re ready to toss in the trash. That was so you’d have more room to pack whatever souvenirs you were bringing home. So, yes, I wore clothes past their lives so I could do just that. Not everything. A couple shirts and shoes. Underwear? I ejected so many old undies throughout my stay. I probably came home with just what I was wearing. I still wonder what the hotel cleaning staff thought all this..
I lived in a Ginza hotel for about 4 months, up in the room it was hard to tell if it was raining, and it could start raining between leaving the room and and getting down to the street; so, I was always buying umbrella’s in the lobby store to walk on the street and always loosing them.
Lol kinda agree with your comment 😅 Except some beautiful tribal tattoos like maori tattoos or like a spiritual symbol, like a cross... All the rest is really trash...
Why don't you respect every person on earth, your priorities are wrong do you think because they have tattoo it means disgusting what's wrong with you, do you know people in this world are really bad they kill other people, tattoos mean nothing haha
