Love the video. Just remember that you only get blow by on the compression stroke. For this stroke is responsible for sealing the most amount of pressure.

what if on a gas v8, you start to pull the oil cap off, and it pushes the cap out and you can hear air flowing out, also the rpms in the engine change? Does that mean its terrible?

You can have a bit of blow by on a cold engine. When it warms up the rings expand a bit and constricts the gap in the rings.

I have a 1988 Honda Civic. Even though it has 215,000 miles. It is running very good. I have no blow by issues. My engine oil is still very clean even at 3,000 miles and I don't have to add any oil between changes.

NATES INTERACTIVE AUTO Yea, I saw it. Those Nissan are reliable as well. When I visited Mexico, most taxi cabs are those Nissan.

Would you recommend a oil catch can for excessive blowby? When I cleaned throttle body I noticed a lot more oil in intake manifold. Also if you can send a link on which one if recommended.

I was always told that a little bit is good, but a lot can be a sign of issues. With PCV and other eve app system it seems like it makes them clogged up there cause problems. In addition to contaminate the oil. Seems like we’d have a better way to keep this in check these days

I dont know anything about cars but the other day I had to gun it or I would of got into a accident and some witeish smoke came out for a couple seconds couldnt get it to do it again the oil is good antifreeze good no leaks runs great lots power what was that anybody have any answers or opinions

You could possibly use a vacuum gauge or take off oil cap lay cardboard over hole and if blow by isnt bad it will hold cardboard to the hole with the vacuum.
