I am on day two. Dealing with severe gut issues, Hashimoto’s, and eczema. I’m excited but kinda scared too. It’s very emotional

Hi there Tracy! I feel you! Yes, it really is emotional and scary at the beginning. Both dealing daily with the symptoms, as well as wondering if nutrition / lifestyle will really work and if you can stick to the changes. I felt that same way! With the Omega 3 and 6 ratio, what should I do if I don’t eat fish? I take a teaspoon of fish oil every day. Is that good for the ratio?

Yes, I follow Dr. Ballyntine's AIP. I was on elimination phase for 45 days, but my reintroduction phase took quite a bit due to my caring for my mom during illness and passing away. I'm still struggling with that, and the stress/emotional part, but to know how to eat best, and what foods are good and not good for me and being healthier has really helped.

That was helpful. I started elim aip the last 2 weeks. I'm restrictive to but still recognizing that I'm having things that i should not have. Like spirulina. Your video was informative. But here i have some questions and would like to understand plz... 1. After knowing about sperolina, i would like to know about " Irish moss" Its a kind of algae. Is it ok with? 2. i was astonished to know that plantain have a high glycemic index?? Coz what i see that most of the people take plantain in the elim phase. ?? What is the recommend portion? 3. How to mentain the intake of fruktose to 40 g if we are taking fruits and honey? Honey has a lot of fruktose? I still not taking honey but would like to. And why to eliminate the intake if the aip isn't a low carb diet, as you said? 4. Still confused when it comes to think about the grams and percentage of my food intake. Can't figure it out. Would be thankful if you help me to clear these questions up for me Regards from Sweden 🌹🌹

I’m still on elim phase-it’s been almost 3 years-can’t get a lot to reintroduce-but my question is about the Lord’s Supper. How do I participate at church w/o partaking in what they provide?

Hi there! So sorry to hear you are struggling to reintroduction foods - working with a practitioner or a functional medical doctor on trouble shooting can be a game changer. As far as attending church - I had a conversation with our church leaders, and they were supportive when I explained the situation. So now I just bring my own AIP or Paleo item for the sacrament, and they keep it separate for me.
