We have found in the meantime that it has a bit of a issue with dust but we are working on a fix for that. The design is great and strong, but gets stuck a lot in dusty riding even after our mod. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7AbFUozvN-A.html

I have the rovan xlt it's need a new transmission and I have the f5 32cc I'm using the aluminum pull start but the ropes keep untying or snapping.. should I go back the original easily pull start

Nice cars you got there. I'm not a fan of the alloy pullstarts but see Rovan did make new Alloy Easy ones and the concept makes sense. Does still need some modification. If I were you I will probably stick to the normal pullstart but use the Chung Yang or 30°North pullstarts. They seem to last much better.

Just fitted one of these. Works like a dream. Mine has the spacer so sticks out further than the original meaning the body won't fit round it. Is it just a case of cutting a lump out of the body work?

Yeah unfortunately you have to cut to make it fit snug but what some guys do is extend the side post as far as it will go to push the body away. Still buldge a bit but you can clip it in keep the body tidy. If you want to remove the spacer one day than you just swop out the flywheel and get the shorter flywheel/driving plate nut.

So can I put a normal pull starter on a 45cc rovan motor? I been wanting to buy one for my rampage mt and I don't wanna have to cut my chassis

You can yes. They tend to break easier but if you pull it correctly it should last a while. You will need to put a standard flywheel and a 36cc fan cover on to fit the standard starter

Excellent tutorial like it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻,, I have a question I been seen people with 1/5 scale and the engine from the muffler it throws out a nice sound from pipe also throws out some fire how I can do this modification to my 1/5 buggy do you have a tutorial for this????

We have never had a 2 stroke motor throw out fire. In a real car it's caused by valve bounce so the only way we see it happening on these buggies will be if it's broken or losing fire past the piston. So it might look cool but won't have any power...

They all should use the same. Its nice to have compatible parts on the motors

How do I install the pull start

You'll need to change the flywheel and use the new nut type, then screw on the driving plate and then the new pullstart onto the fan cover like normal. You might have to pull the starter once to get it to seat nicely before you bolt it down.

dust will get in and won't work good so have to still do the same maintaince

That's Echo's design. It's NOT Rovan's design! Look it up. Genuine Original Echo Recoil Starter Assembly 17720008260 P021009450 PB 413 610 I bet Echo's lawyers would have a field day with this!

Yeah. Rovan just made their own model of the original. So what we meant to say was this is the new Rovan model of the Easy Start system.
