I love the Legion of Dusk because I have ancestry leading back to a conquistador warriors. We have this framed work showing our ancestors purpose and duties and the specific “house” or heraldry symbol or whatever it’s actually called lmao

Awesome, even after reading the story I feel like this telling was fleshed out so well that I learned something new too. I did not expect such a deep history.

Do you remember how wizards did geocaching "world wide" marketing game for Rivals of Ixalan? Hunt for the fabled city of Orazca they called it. Exiting contest between nature loving fish people, noble dinosaur riding aztek empire, several underdeveloped pirate factions with too many old/over dressed ladies and underdressed hairy bears and finaly baddass Holy order of zealous vampires. Besides that this whole "big world wide" meant just 10 tracking devices distributed to the few friends around Seattle, one to Japan and one to rando in Brazil all of them probably too lazy to even walk their dog far away, they also shady scrambled the results, probably rigged it little bit, and lo and behold noble indigenous marry sue nation with gimmicky furry dinos won. Their winner story moral: "politics bad". However what is way worse, I mean "sick in the stomach" worse it´s the alternative now non-canon ending story published for the Legion of Dusk. Oh they dealt them really dirty. First of all "we were prepared" my ass it is more of longer paragraph of aftertought than a story, but still enough to left me raging and hating with passion. Anyway Vona (kind of jerk for main protagonist for a faction but still would bang) originaly got bitchslapped for mouthing newlyfound vampire waifu Jesus and has to sail back to vampire Vatican with promise of more major bitchslapping from said Jesus for everyone else at home. In the "winning" alternative reality she got "whatever" pass to return to Orazca to take it for the Empire. Taking the city. Alone. Nobody cares anyway. Every other fanger sailing away. So Vona, again alone, promptly run into now apparently empty ruins "claiming her sweet sweet victory". Unfortunately her five minutes long glorious rule came into abrubt end when some rando dino sneaked behind and snapped her in half. Hard to spot them big lizards through uncle Scrooge dollar´s eyes am I right? Message: "white europians church virgin fa(n)gs bad." WiNniNg sToRy ladies and gentleman. PS: fun fact - Ixalan and Torezons´s plane are just part of the Forgotten realms D&D world of Faerun. How and why? Because.

40 seconds in, and you got a like and a sub. Interesting topic! I’d been playing since invasion, and after all these years, I’ve been really getting into the lore of all my favorite characters. Found this channel looking for a back story for Vito, the lifelink sharing vampire that works so good as a part of the exquisite blood combo I recently discovered.
