I'm still working on admissions. I haven't been in school in 12 years. I always remember going into a term never thinking about the end exams, just trying to survive each class. That is not me this time. I'm trying to go in with a mindset to get everything I need for the NBE and beyond from the start.
I’m not sure if you read all these, but I always wanted to know. When my grandpa was alive I remember he had these bumps all over his face, and when he passed away, I remember telling my mom look grandpas sick is so smooth and no bumps! Why is that? Like what where they gone
In the late ‘70’s I did death calls with the owner of the ambulance service I worked for. Very interesting. Also, my sometimes partner on the ambulance, was a licensed funeral director in TN & GA, and we sometimes made nocturnal visits to the funeral home so he could embalm. I learned a lot. That makes what you do so interesting to me. For a short time, I thought of becoming a mortician.
I’m personally not looking forward to it. I have a hard time translating thoughts to actions and my memory recall is dismal at best.I learn hands on pretty much exclusively and can do something as long as you don’t have me explain it.
This was really informative, thank-you Kari! It's funny how restorative art falls on the science not the art section. I think like you said it's just about learning all of the individual skills and knowing that some of them can overlap but maybe some people find it helpful to have the exams split up into sections, might make it seem less daunting and more manageable to focus on it in chunks! You look beautiful by the way :-) x
