Les is an unsung hero, a Vincent van Gogh of consciousness - such a brilliant mind that made very important discoveries in a time no one had the sense to understand what the heck he was actually saying. He found the intersection of consciousness, neuroscience, and the quantum field. In time his work will be recognized in the way he deserves. Bless Susan for continuing the mission, being out here giving interviews. And huge Kudos to you for keeping this work alive and center stage.

That’s exactly what dr Joe Dispenza ask us to do during meditation. I remember on his meditation “you are the placebo”, he ask us to imagine space behind our eyes and in between our ears”. Didn’t know is from Susan, so happy to found this interview.

I found Open Focus in 2011, a few years after they published their first book. I was already exploring some visual and auditory focusing techniques I made up that quickly eased any tensions I was feeling, and for reasons I couldn't understand at that time. It usually consisted of quickly moving and focusing on objects in different visual planes, taking the simultaneously the detail view and the panoramic or contextual view and gazing at the relationship of the object in the volume of space in the context. When the spatial relationship was anchored, I'd jump to another position. This would simultaneously discombobulate my mind (from it's redundant pattern of thought) and keep it busy long enough to change the spectrum of chemistry in the brain to that of ease and present moment stillness. With Dr Fehmi's work, I was able to expand on this therapeutic tool and use his style of spatial narrative to quickly change how I was paying attention in present moment if the moment falls out of grace. It changes your brain by changing how you experience and memorize your experiences, using the mind to change the brain to feed back new mind.

Thank you for sharing. This technique was a part of a course I took. It was called Photographic Reading. We are so locked into a certain area to focus on and this braodens our convergence.

Thank you Draw Breath and Susan for this valuble information. I have been practicing Dr Fehmi's technique for a while now and I use it to get into a state of pure consciousness. Such a simple technique with the promise to experience our pure essence and oneness with all that is.

In layman's terms, "open focus" and "filled with space" refer to a state of mind where you're not intensely focused on any particular thing, but instead, you have a relaxed and broad awareness of your surroundings or thoughts. It's like having a mental spaciousness where your attention is not locked onto one specific point, allowing you to be more aware of everything around you or your thoughts without fixating on any single element. This can be helpful for reducing stress, increasing creativity, and improving overall well-being.

Thanks for doing this interview. Attentions or focus seems to be bypassed by so many spiritual teachings. if they are talked about, its just a mention. love the video. Can you please interview, Paul Holman, he just wrote a book "freedom through spatial awareness". that is how i found the open focus.

How would one induce theta waves? Does Open Focus get you to Theta?

Hi Eric! Thanks for checking out the channel. I would recommend watching my video with nidra expert Elena Mironov for more on Theta waves. It’s a less conscious state but deeply relaxing.

Bro could you please tell me do we have to actually able to sense space around us or just need to open our focus cuz I don't think I can feel space I can see that there is space but I don't know how to feel it plz help me 🙏
@rosehughes6760
@rosehughes6760 2 года назад
I'm just a beginner with this but I'll just say that when I open my focus to include space, my senses naturally become more vivid and I can then notice feeling the space around my body. I hope that helps a little and that you get a more sophisticated answer too.
