Honestly, there aren’t any books for DILR that I would say are perfect. That is purely because the books will not help you select sets from an assortment of levels of difficulty and topics. So mocks would work best in this regard. You can go for any of the popular providers (IMS, TIME, CL) for quality DILR sets. If you manage to attempt all of the 30 odd mocks provided, you should have gone through around 120 sets which is a good chunk. If you are still looking for books, Arun Sharma or Nishit Sinha should be fine for practice. Just that some sets there are too difficult to crack so you should be careful not to get stuck in these sets. For VARC, practice will be the key as there aren’t a lot of concepts as is the case with quant. From my experience, GMAT/LSAT material is pretty good in this regard so you can go for Manhattan GMAT or Kaplan/Princeton for practising the passages. Although the passages will sometimes focus on the sociocultural context of the US, the quality of questions and solutions is brilliant.
