What is the True Mileage on the 1977 Ford F250 XLT Ranger Super Cab? 

Very intriguing clues, i must say. 👍 I suppose it depends on how much abuse it went through, some are high mileage and have really bad wear that's irrefutable. And some vehicles can have low mileage and artificial wear that's abuse. My dad's 1979 K5 Blazer was minimal in the wear department when my brother inherited it (he bought it new) but it was suffering from age....doors were hard to shut, the half roof was leaking, the dash pad was cracked, etc.... Despite the fact he babied it from new. ANYWAY....i would say the 142,000 mileage is probably correct. I agree 👍

Fords been best selling truck for 50 years . Chevy or dodge together cant compete thats not the gasket bad in that door. The reason its little sloppy is the striker bushings gone.

My truck still had the original date coded wires on it at 230,000 when I bought it 12 years ago, so entirely possible plus I don't think the replacement Motocraft wire sets are date coded. They caused misfires under load like crazy, but they didn't look bad either. The original seat on my truck just started coming apart a little on the driver's side, it looked nearly brand new when I bought the truck. I bought the Marti report for my truck a few years ago and my truck has a lot of options it never left the assembly line with according to the Marti report. I suspect they were dealer add on options installed afterwards. The truck did sit around 11 months before it sold.

Well I'm gonna start driving only with the cruise control so my gas pedal wears less. That'll fool the Concours d'Elegance judges! When I bought my '85 Mercury, it had 988 miles on the odo, original plug wires and plenty of small dings thanks to both previous owners being seniors...

I am pretty sure she only has 40K... the condition just says that. Dated spark plug wires... the body overall. Not sure what papers you found but I wouldn't trust them. Check the brake drums and those type of things for changes. I don't think the spark plug wire dating would last to the first 100K. Brakes should be somewhat close to first change... look for more documentation from registrations or other sources as well. Should be a breeze mechanically. The melted air cond parts will be a nightmare... have fun... watching

Those wires don't mean shit. My 77 lincoln has its factory wires and belts. It's got 308xxx miles. My 75 f150 also has origional wires, fully origional and complete truck has around 200xxx miles. That yruck has probly 140xxx or more on it
