I gotta say, when I first found your videos, I was like: there’s no way this guy with this swing can have x handicap. Now I'm completely addicted to your videos, your storytelling of the round and your humor are what makes it for me. Keep it up!
Thanks so much, Gustavo. As you've seen, I'm liable to blow up on some days but can drop a respectable score from time to time. I don't really get too exercised about it. i just love the game.
I’m in the exact same boat. I still don’t genuinely believe your HC reflects your game, I feel like your HC goes off the short course (basically chip n putt) course that you absolutely murder. Still good content.
Your humility and sneaky sense of humor make you an awesome watch. Thanks for keeping up the consistent and awesome content! I live vicariously through your videos.
100% I love course vlogs of all kinds, but the short ones are a nice switch up. Keep up the good work, maybe I'll see you out in Washington this spring!
He’s exactly the same in real life. A genuine, friendly, good-humored guy. Had the honor of playing a round of golf with him, and I can’t say enough good things. Shoutout to Sam and Terry (not sure if I got the spelling right, sir).
Pebble has that effect on you where the scoring becomes secondary and the round is full of gratitude that you get to play such an iconic and scenic course! I liked the b-roll bits where you showed you took the time to soak it in and capture some views. Another great one Adam keep em coming!
Had to watch this video again after returning from the Monterey Peninsula and of course visiting Pebble Beach. After seeing Stillwater Cove, buying a few items from the Visitors Center, standing behind the 18th green, and seeing Pebble from Carmel Beach I decided I will be back to play.
I always wanted to play Pebble Beach but in 2016 I had a stroke. I am making progress and thoughts of that amazing place are back. I am hitting balls again, making good progress. Hoping for my Pebble Beach dream come true.
I played there 3 years ago and it was one of the best weekends of my life. Thank you for taking us on your golf journey. Sometimes you need to stop, look around, and count your blessings.
Man i know he probably won't see this, but this guy is absolutely class. Adam deserves a million subs for his relatable content and personality. Absolute gem.
That's nice of you to say, Roman. I fell in love with the game and the fact that 20,000 people now enjoy it with me on the channel is super humbling. I don' take it for granted.
Best Course in the World! I played Pebble in 2018. I had the same feeling as you. More just in shock of how beautiful and historic Pebble is. Smile on the face all day with no concern of score. Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Played Pebble and Spyglass in 2014. My hands and knees were shaking for 17 holes around PB, the view and the history are awe inspiring. I managed to pull it together to par 18 and shoot 101. Standing in the middle of 18 with a birdie putt waiting for me on the green was the closest I'll ever come to that rock-star feeling. What a day, worth the cost of admission without a doubt.
What a year you had, a dream year of golf for most mortals. Playing happy golf is the best golf. You need to watch this video when you're under the weather.
Thanks so much. Indeed, 2017-18 were about as tough as I could imagine (battling a critical illness) and 2021-22 have been more than I could ever ask for.
What an awesome view of Pebble. I’ve never been, but this makes it look so much more real than the TV coverage. Thanks, and great playing! Scratch or not, 81 there is legit!
I like the fact that your swing looks so average and so is your distance. You play alot like the guys I play with. It gives me hope that I can consistently shoot in the 80s. Great channel. Keep the videos coming.
Awesome video, I played Pebble a few weeks ago and got chills watching your round, brought back the gorgeous memory. I’m 48 and I wanted to play while I’m still in prime shape rather than wait for the “right time.” A must do for all us golf grinders!
I played here 28 years ago, from the tips and playing off 3. I was delighted with my 81 especially because it took 7 or 8 holes to get over the 'OMG, I'm playing Pebble'. IMO, this course/area is among the most beautiful on earth.
I found you last week and have binged so much of your content since then. Thank you so much for sharing your story and your golf adventures. I love your approach to content - no frills, no filler, just beautiful courses with great commentary. I really admire your positivity. As someone who is starting his golf journey a bit later in life (35) and still terrible after months of lessons, your videos (and the occasional dream shot I'm able to somehow hit) really inspire me to keep the dream alive. And as someone with his own struggles, it warms my heart so much to hear how you came out of your illness and found your happy place. You are honoring your donor and his family. I hope there's a lot more content to come. ❤️
Dude the weather was absolutely amazing! you're lucky. When I played it was cloudy cold and wet which the caddie told me was more common than sunny days.
Man what an incredible video. Amazing to see you so happy and just enjoying the experience, and celebrating how far you've come in your life. Delighted for you that you can do this full time - you deserve every success with the channel!
What a stunner of a day you had, such a bonus to have perfect weather. This is one of the best course walkthroughs of Pebble, and seeing the course played from less than 7,000 yards was refreshing and more reflective of the experience most of us would have :) Glad you had a great time Adam, this video is some of your best work for sure.
Your videos have really helped me, thank you. I'm a 22 handicap and I always play way too aggressive. I think I'm much closer to my goals than I had thought. I love watching and listening to your analysis, it gives me confidence. Cheers 🍻
Ahh man, my wife and I went and played at pebble beach, spyglass, and the hay back in November. I never like saying, "great once in a lifetime experience," but it most likely is. Would absolutely love to get back out there again for sure!! We were so fortunate to be able to walk pebble the day before due to a tournament they had on our date of arrival. That really helped calm my nerves for sure!!
Wow what an experience! Congratulations for playing so well on such an iconic course. I was grinning from ear to ear watching this. I hope that ball is safely put away some where special! I had a very similar experience where I found out 12 hours before that I could play the old course with my dad. Days like this are why golf is such an amazing game. Keep up the good work!
Adam - like you I had to overcome a serious health challenge. And like you, I never have had a bad day since. So glad you could experience PB and on such an incredible day!! So glad you will be playing golf as your job. May your website continue grow and your smile never fade.
Hell of a back 9 and hell of a video. Glad you got to experience it with you girlfriend/wife, looked like a really special day. Walk off birdie at that course would certainly be an all time highlight.
Simply stunning! Congrats & great to hear/see your experience was one that many of us round the world envy! Will continue to watch from afar, waiting for the Augusta upload!
Great video and narration...this is the first time I've watched one of your vids and it was great. Pebble looks amazing to play. I'd be amped to shoot that kind of round you had. You were clutch with the putter.
Best video yet! The look you had on your face the entire round was priceless. ive been super fortunate to have played pebble 8 times and its an amazing spot, its not my favorite golf course on the peninsula, but its a must play for any golfer and its worth every penny of that price tag to tee it up there.
effing amazing mate! I am so happy for you. Such a spectacularly gorgeous course this is! And brutal! Love the jazzy shirt..Stuff of dreams..happy to be living it vicariously through your experience until I do it myself..one day..imagine sharing this story one day with your kids/grandkids.."That day at Pebble Beach..."
You had a great weather day out there and it must of been awesome to play especially since you didn't expect it!! And congrats at being able to do this for a living!!
From "I hope we can make time to visit the Pebble Beach Pro Shop today" to "this is the best day of my life on the links with my gf" is definitely something I'll never forget.
There might be RU-vidrs, that are better Golfers than you. There might be RU-vidrs, that have better Camerawork than you. But this is one of the best Golfvideos I have ever seen. Your Story, your sense of Humor and the general atmosphere got me serious chills. Whenever I feel bad, I will watch this video from now on!
This is great, you deserve all the success you're getting. Your format is just excellent, always in a good mood. This course is amazing, I wish to play it someday, bucket list.
Been watching for awhile, glad to see you're able to pretty much make this your job this year! That's the dream, to be able to golf as a day job. Your short game over the years has improved, especially your putting. Keep it up, always fun to see you playing new courses!
Loved the video Adam, seeing the pictures you took and the smile you had made me happy and brought a smile to my face. Wishing you nothing but the best!
Awesome day!! Great round. About 20 years ago, walking up to our 3rd shots on 18, a wedding party lets out and they gather at the back of the green, waiting for us to hole out. Long time ago, but a memory of Pebble Beach; a gallery with champagne and formal wear😁. Keep them coming! Looking forward to the summer rounds.
Your view on golf and mistakes has me really looking forward to playing this summer! I think I'll have much more fun after watching your approach to golf! Love your commentaries!! //34 handicapper
I appreciate everything in your videos. You encouraged me to play more this year. I also learned a lot from the good and the bad in playing golf. You said that golf is hard ( a hard game to play) that’s the main reason why we play it. I used to watch your videos only, but now I’m a new subscriber and a fan. Keep up the good play. Will wait for more videos.
This video had me smiling from ear to ear! Glad the channel is finally getting the support it deserves, keep up the top work Adam! Let me know if you are ever in South Africa and I'll gladly show you around!
Thanks, Michael. Matt (aka Golf Sidekick) keeps mentioning an area of coastline in SA that he says is similar to the central coast of California. Would love to get there one day.
@@NotAScratchGolfer and then there's Skukuza in Kruger National Park where you can take a line on a pride of lines under a tree or just left of the giraffe The course is ok but the tale is iconic
Just came across your videos. I’ve played Pebble in Golf+ VR so many times now, and it’s so strange seeing your perspective via video match so well with it. I feel like I’ve been there before! Great round, awesome video!
Dude on 13 the way you framed your par putt was amazing!!! I was so distracted by the sunset and view I didn't even see it miss! Haha. Really awesome dude. I am sitting here working on my first course vlog as I break to watch this...hearing you say it's gonna' be your job this year makes me daydream of the possibilities of my channel.
HAHA! And I just saw the last hole just now. I have only played it once and made 8 on one and the only birdie of the day was 18! I almost shit when you birdied the first. That's a helluva round.
Wow! So excited you had the chance to play Pebble. That's amazing. Your journey and your attitude are wonderful. Here's hoping your channel explodes this year. All the best, Adam.
Great video of your dream round. I live in the UK, once had a plan to play Pebble, but a bit too much from here. I've played 8 Open courses, had that same magic feeling you did here at Pebble . You played great BTW with all the emotion going on. Congrats mate 👏 👏👏
Adam this is my favorite golf videos ever. And god know I’ve watched a lot of’em. So glad you shared it with us. Thank you. And thanks for the way you approach golf. I would love to play with you some time.
Love that you'll be full time on tour this year 😆 Those Pebble memories should last a lifetime, especially the great photo on 18 tee. Thanks for sharing it and for making this one a bit longer than usual.
I just discovered this channel and I can't get enough of your videos! You've played all of the courses that are on my bucketlist and it's making me jealous! I have played Sagebrush though however. Great content man.
New subsciber here, great video man! I played Pebble back in July 2021 (bucket list item) and enjoyed every second of it! I ended up with an 83 but played 18 just like you, almost holed my 30 yard 3rd shot and tapped in for birdie to end a fantastic day! Love your channel because you're so relatable with us non scratch golfers and look forward to following you in 2022! Let me know if you ever come through San Antonio, TX, I'd like to enjoy a round with you!
Thanks, Jason! Birdieing 18 there was like something out of a dream sequence and I'm glad you experienced it too. I've never played in TX. Would love to one day!
Definitely an experience I'l always cherish. One downside: it's hard dragging her out to any other course because I always have to set her expectations at, "it won't be as spectacular as Pebble" :p
Had a similar experience like yours - just sneaking on at the last second! Got to spend my round with an 85 yr old man and his 60 yr old son, both crossing it off their bucket list - score was secondary that day (although its awesome you got your birdie! I had mine on the 7th!). Looking forward to somehow playing there once again down the road.
Absolutely stoked for you. A true bucket moment. Hope you had a glass of Napa Valley red wine on the terrace afterwards. When are you coming to play in Europe??!
Pebble is on my Bucket List but there will have to be some gold in that bucket given the green fees. Thanks so much for sharing your magical day, Adam. I always love your videos and really look forward to your new ones. Keep 'em coming! Cheers.
Im happy you're able to do this as a full time job Adam! Been following you since your first video and I've been loving everyone of them! Keep doing what you're doing!
Super great golf and video. Missed my opportunity to play Pebble a couple years ago but was fortunate to play Poppy Hills and Spyglass that trip. Your video makes me want to go back!
Thank you for this! I loved watching. Captivated my friend. Can't wait until the day I am honored to play this wonderful course. Every golfers dream for sure!
Great round, and fantastic experience! 81 is a great score. I've never been to Pebble, but I've played it countless times on the simulator, and even on there it's tough.
Wadda course Wadda man What gratitude. Great video. I got goosebumps when you birdied 18 in the dark. I’m treating myself to a round at Pebble for my 50th birthday in 4 years. I can’t wait.
Awesome bro. Beautiful views and good company. That's defo a bucket list. Next time you are near the coast. Come to Sandpiper in Santa Barbara. It's the poor man's Pebble.
Great day at Pebble. You never know what your going to get. Gale force winds, fog, and sometimes a day like you got. I lived on the Central Coast of California for about 30 years. Only got to play Pebble one time. The highlight of my 55 years of golfing. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Brought back a great day for me.
