I feel like your experience with building a Cobra is a little unique because of all the silly little problems you run into. I feel like other Cobra owners don't have these issues 😂 at least not as much. But it's cool to see where the Cobra has come. I remember saying 2020 would be the year that you'd get to do these cool mods with the Cobra but then Covid hit and I thought it wouldn't happen. But it did happen! You got the engine, cams, a whipple. Can't wait to see where the build goes next. Also, why no ads on the video?
Man I miss my Terminator. Torch red 03 cobra was my first car, I owned it for 12 years. From bone stock to ported/E85/solid axle swap and a bunch of other stuff was a fun journey. I’m glad people are still enjoying these cars. I had the steeda tri-ax with an UPR adjustable clutch quadrant/firewall and loved it for racing. It was quite notchy and not the smoothest for low rpm shifting but up top it shifted better than any of my friends cobras/mustangs.
I’m ready for a ride. And Hose clamp is what you need. Keep these type of vlogs coming consistently and it’s only a matter of time before the algorithm picks you up more. 👍🏼
I first saw this car on ThatDudeinBlue. It inspired me to buy borla atak for my ‘03 lol. Clean ride 🤙🏻. What cams are you running and what gen whipple? I’m currently looking for a whipple kit and intake manifold to put on mine. Pulled the motor out and doing a complete rebuild.
I really want an 03 Cobra. I'm used to driving a coyote but I love the raw sound and feel of the cobra. But it seems like based on the few people I've talked to they have a lot of problems. Or is it just isolated. You're thoughts?
New here...No way had no idea your car was the demon in thatdudeinblues review. Awesome. I'm stock at 13k so always appreciate seeing the mods since I'm not doing anything to mine.
Yea bro sorry about the bad luck. But look at it like this you will learn more about the. Car so in the optimistic side you are getting better mechanic knowledge
Jordan would you expect less raspyness wiith an off road h pipe vs your x pipe? Asking because im debating about installing ataks and i already have an off road h on the car.
Bought a Cobra, already tuned. Dyno’d @613whp, wanted to re-dyno tune it, it made 643whp but I feel that with the old tune it pulled a bit stronger. My question is: does Cobras ECU learns your driving habits? Asking this because I drive the car twice every month and never at WOT, just casual cruising.
@@Jordancraigmiller I would recommend you try either Mickey Thompson ET Street tires or Toyo Proxy r888r tires for much improved traction. My Terminator has 621whp/595wtq and I hook up well even from a dig.
As if this video the rear suspension is mostly stock. But I do have a 26 spline input shaft, RST clutch, upgraded transmission gears and transmissions was recently rebuilt. Only H&R race springs and Polly bushings on the rear end for now. Will soon be doing a full coil over setup!
@@Jordancraigmiller thank u I just myself just got a corba and I want to whipple it but what gose thir my head tho is the rear end breaking or something 😭😭😬😬🤣
I just bought mine. 2003 cobra. 520whp. Just thinking about what the first things i should do too minimize risk. If anyone feel like they have alot of knowlage i would love to talk too some ppl
I have full videos on that! Hold on I’ll link a few! I can tell you right off the bat, replace the fuel pumps if it has decent mileage. Do a return style fuel system or if you’re on a budget just put the kenne bell fuel brake in your fuel rail pressure sensor to keep it from busting. All cooling mods, I.E coolant expansion tank, heat exchanger, etc. I.R.S Polly bushings to prevent wheel hop, new alternator if voltage is low. Check the tune or get a tune that’s keeping the fuel tables correct at all rpms, I.e correct air fuel ratios. Get some R compound tires if it doesn’t have them already because street tires hurt people, check brakes, new pads, better pads if they’re stock. There is more but thats what I’d recommend getting started.
@@Jordancraigmiller thanks alot. Kinda new too mustangs and those types of cars. Also dont know what really is on this car, just the major parts. Soo looking for some ppl too mabey share pictures with and learn more. Im googleing and doing a bunch of reserch but sometimes its Nice to get some human interaction while learning 🤣 i enjoy your vids alot though
Bro do you have the worst luck lol or is it really the cobra? I’m gonna be getting one in the next few weeks and this doesn’t seem like fun with constant problems. I saw other vids you has issues when ur mom was in the car too. Help me out with any advice please thanks
2020 was probably the most unlucky year of my entire life. With my car, with my business, with everything. My advice would really depend on your goals and how you’d be driving the car.
The cars are pretty reliable, however like any car once you begin to modify there always be an issues you are chasing or "bugs" to be worked out. Doesn't mean they are bad cars we as the owners typically create our own problems in the pursuit of more horsepower!
@@Jordancraigmiller Yes I do.. many mustangs and all great cars. Every time I I have ever had an issues is because of some mod I did and had to work it out. Have my 03 Cobra on stands now doing the "mod" game! 😁 It's worth it when it all comes together!
@@Jordancraigmiller its like damn I've been watching for a while and the problems are constant sorry man I hope you get all the kinks out u put the work and time in u deserve it bro is an 01 shifter the same as 03
@@therealjoker4207 If you have an 01 Cobra then you have a T-45 transmission but Jordan's Cobra has a T-56, so I'm not sure I'm some parts, like the shifter, would be interchangeable.
