@@IIIlIl M. if the reason you are not dead by now or working in a farm in a poverty-stricken condition is not a good thing I don't know what "good" means.
No it isn't, at least not in the sense I assume you think it is. The capitalism you have today is the truest form of capitalism, embedded in the unique historical-cultural context of each nation state. Every first-year student of political economy knows that completly unregulated capitalism will just abolish itself - if there is no state that ensures competetion, soon, there will be no more competetion. (Either because of monopolies or because expoitation intensifies so people will just overthrow the capitalists. After all, what keeps capitalism going, is a state with the monopoly on violence that ensures contracts, deals with uprisings etc.). That being said, libertarianism surely is part of the _true_ capitalist condition that we live in. It is the fundamentalist interpretation of it, naturally occuring when a system is losing its grip and can only hold on through authoritarian means or fundamentalization.
After researching more about Libertarians I feel that is one of the most positive things about it. We dont all think exactly the same but will hear each other out. Capitalism and Pro social rights are all you really need to believe in but you can have different point of view on certain things.
Libertarianism is the truest party of which our country was founded upon. It means ultimate freedom. Do as you wish as long as it doesn't interfere with others doing as they wish.
@@xrenx4921 agree, but you forget that the whole world falls for populism on left or right. To think libertarian it needs abilty differentiate. Neither black nor white, grey!
@America First Politics eh, its a gray line, because they don't want the government intervening in any aspect of someone's life, but on the contrary even though some are pro choice, majority believe in pro life
1. he's sincere and kind. 2. he wants to legalize Marijuana for all the pot smokers out there. he has a Marijuana marketing company. 3. he would not insult or offend anyone safe to say. 4. he wants to cut down on departments and agencies, for example homeland security and FBI should join and just become FBI. 5. he is not racist and wants to give an allowance for undocumented immigrants a work visa if they are working and doing jobs that regular Americans don't want to do. the list keeps going, a very diverse yet easy going candidate for presidency. I did my research yesterday and really there is nothing negative found, no agendas, no hate, not biased opinions..... simply a pleasant man with nothing to hide, neutral, clear and simple, what you see is what you get. cleared.
I agree he seems sincere and a nice guy, but I very strongly disagree with your claim of there being nothing negative about him. There's TONS of negatives to this guy - he'd completely fuck up the country.
I am Japanese in Japan and I just read the list and you made the guy sound so freaking weak. America wouldn't survive with that kinda leader... What do you think politics is...
+randomyoko2 hi yoko2🐺 Thank you kindly for your comment. I was not making a statement for Mr. Gary Johnson, as I have learned about him recently. I heard of him a while ago, but I never really looked into what a he stands for as a liberal. I added a few things from other interviews I remembered quickly and posted to share it with others to see if they can add more, and their reactions. From a Japanese perspective and point of view looking at Americans struggling to find a suitable fit President, almost everyone disagrees with everyone regarding who they think is better for America, One of the most strangest elections and candidates for presidency in history! Who would you think is most suitable? if you would have to choose? not from an American perspective but as a citizen of one of the most cultured and happiest countries in the world Japan, who would Japan choose to be their leader. (please bare in mind that Donald Trump doesn't like many countries and America is a global leader country and likes to get along with everyone in a friendly and polite manner) Your choices are: 1. Mrs. Hillary Clinton 2. Mr. Gary Johnson 3. Mr. Donald Trump 4. Ms. Jill Stein 5. Mr. Evan McMullen Is it easy to choose? Thank you once more. ☁🍨☺🐈🐺🎩
The best argument against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with an average voter - Churchill. After all his talk, you only look at his looks? really? Some low IQ Canadian's chose a good looking guy, Trudeau, and he's ruining Canada. Looks not matter, character does.
+el300 cdg LOL he's not winning, he polls at 7% and the debates are 3 weeks away, applauds to him if he can somehow make it to 15% though, I'm just glad to see people are wasting their votes on this nut.
+Fucked Up hahaha you really believe these shitty polls? i haven't even been called yet and there's millions like me. if you Trump worshippers wake tf up and vote for him, he'd win by a fucking landslide. like c'mon, do you really want a sociopathalogical liar like trump or a criminal like hilary in office?? or the guy who has no dirt like Gary Johnson? the choice is fucking obvious...
he does! in 2020! If he gets 5% of the popular vote... (he currently sits at 6% so far after 3 or 4 states) he gets 10 million dollars towards running in 2020...
It's ok to be a bleeding heart liberal, just do it with your own money and don't demand others to do so! And don't vote for anyone who creates laws to force anyone.
***** I used to listen to podcasts from the Cato institute all the time and I had no idea they broke down the TPP. I'll definitely have to check it out.
Because people are sheep that do and think what they're told to in school without really thinking for themselves and then they just keep it up once they're out of school. That and (I think it was Mark Twain that said) it's easy to fool people, but hard to convince them they've been fooled.
What they said along with the fact they need 15% of the votes to enter debates, they don't advertise themselves as much as the Democrats or Republicans, and last but not least, the founding fathers favored a 2 party system.
adamjames43 - After 1 term all the socialists would realise that their economic beliefs are all based on lies and they’d become libertarians. I can dream, can’t I? 🙌
So long as the citizenry of the US elects and supports a Democrat or a Republican, the wars will continue, unabated. Love Gary Johnson. Live free or die. Thanks for posting.
@@Joe-mt3cj What if the "woman's well-being" means not being stuck with an ethical responsibility they're not ready for? Should they grow up in a potentially hostile environment? Should they be wards of the state? Also, the key word is "sentient". Sentience means that something must be able to "feel, perceive, or experience". Fetuses are not developed enough for this. By DEFINITION, a fetus is not sentient. By contrast, an adult woman DOES have sentience and is entitled to all the rights that come with it.

Since the inception of the DoE, graduation rates have plummeted and dropout rates have gone significantly higher. All the while, federal spending for it has increased again and again. This is what we call a failed investment. Cutting it out is the best solution.
Libertarians don't like the controlling of people, you have to go to school there's no getting out of it in most first world countries. Studies have shown kids learn better doing something they enjoy over sitting in a classroom reading about bollocks they will never remember

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a consumption tax disproportionately effect lower-income households in respect to how much of their income is taxed vs wealthier households? Poorer households spend a far greater share of their income on the consumption of necessities, given that they have lesser income. Unless of course being rich increases your required caloric intake proportionate to your salary, which last I checked, it doesn't.
Yes, if were being honest all taxes need to be careful who they tax and should be progressive and after which cut as many taxes for the poor. That or have a land value tax.
@@Someone-dt1nshe offered a 12,000 a year rebate for people below a certain amount of income and it would not help as people cannot live off of 12,000 a year.
He aint perfect but if guys i like him get 5% of the popular vote, he gets federal funding for the Libertarian 3rd party candidates to have a voice in the next upcoming election. Most libertarians want lower taxes lesa bureucracy, they want to fix the Democrat and Republican issues in the country.

He's more on the nose with libertarians if you ask me. And yes, libertarians are "reckless" in their policy because they realize half-assing solutions and committing halfway gets nowhere and usually leaves things worse than they left off, like a domino effect.
well that's a measured response. Dude Gary Johnson is probably the most liked candidate next to sanders. I'm done giving to candidates who only use my identity as a way to parlay my vote.
It’s easy. Government should only have a basic function and that is to protect citizens and let people do what they want to themselves as long as I am not paying for it (taxes) and as long as it doesn’t affect others

There has to be some sort of minimum. Our goal is for states to raise the minimum wage in their area, not lower it - which is ultimately what Gary's ludicrous proposal would end up causing.
