I pretty much made all the mistakes in the first 2 weeks after I was dumped after a 10 year string along relationship. I was angry, distraught and embarrassed. Honestly, I wanted to throat punch him. In the beginning I stooped to new lows when I begged him back and texted ridiculous things. Somehow, I stumbled upon Brad, invested in his program and to be quite frank, it was the best thing I have ever done. I became a much better person overall. In the end he did come back and we were able to work through all the misunderstandings and there were a decade of them to amend. We now have the best relationship I have ever had. Making myself the best person I could be during the breakup was the single best thing I could have ever done.

Glad to hear. Always prioritize yourself first, yeah? Your own journey to healing should come first, so take care of your emotional and mental well being. The pandemic isn't helping, but try to do different things and don't be afraid to take on new possibilities. You never know what blessings await you on the other side of all the darkness and pain. :-) Take care!

I know everyone has unique situations and caveats to the lessons that you teach… and I guess I am no exception. I need to know if the personal coaching is for me. I need to schedule a consultation. Thanks Brad for all the free info and lessons that some are semi-known to a lot of people, but when you’re down in the thick of emotional hell…. Well, cognition and objectiveness is not my strong suit when my “sky is falling.” You present the info and speak in the best of Canadian ways to make sure you’re insistent, knowledgeable, helpful and polite.

You're welcome! And yes, I hear you, the dark night of the soul is very common to those being dumped, who often feel like they've been blindsided, which is why giving each other space is very much needed so you won't do or say stuff you'd regret later on. Be strong, eh? If you think you need my one-on-one help via private coaching, check for availability first and sign up at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching but either way, I strongly suggest you check out my other videos especially if you're not getting my guide so you'll know what to do next after the "no contact" period, to contacting your ex down to re-attracting, and what to do in between those phases and how to transition to actually getting your ex back. I didn’t beg my former girlfriend after the breakup. She had sent me a happy birthday message after the breakup. Almost a week to the day of the breakup. I sent her a message about five days later. Told her I wasn’t angry. Just wished it would have went differently. Then later sent her a few pictures of her and I together. Told her thanks and left it at that.

Everybody copes in different ways and while a relationship takes two people, moving on and looking after yourself is an individual task. With that said, the best thing you can do right now is to cut off contact and focus on yourself. During that silence, you will also see if it's worth it or not. Good luck, whichever route you wanna take during this period! :-)

I’m going through a breakup now. It sucks. It hurts. I have hope for the future but i don’t see it being possible. I’ve been watching your videos Brad to help alleviate the pain a little, with the idea that maybe, i can still hold on to the 1% chance that i could get him back. That he still misses me or cares.
@BradBrowning

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Hope is the last to go BUT the space and time apart is needed because it not only helps you heal but also helps you gain a clearer perspective of the entire situation first. Each relationship is a blessing, until it isn't. If it becomes a lesson, make sure you learn it before you get into the next one or rebuild the connection with your ex. Otherwise a pattern would be repeated. Just try to make sure you maximize what you can within this 30-day period such as healing yourself, enjoying your own company, as well as spending time to see where it all went wrong, but only when you start to feel better, so be sure to take time to grieve first and feel the loss and cry all you want but then make an effort to pick yourself up first. Remember, you can't pick someone up (to be back in a relationship with you) if you're also feeling down yourself. Now is the time for self love. So give yourself the time and attention you need to heal first, all right? Make sure you watch my other vids too for more tips on what to do during and after this time if you're not getting my Ex Factor guide. Good luck!

Your videos have help me so much. My breakup 💔 was unexpected for me.Yes me had a few fights like normal couples but not crazy. A week before he asked me to move in together in the winter and I was so excited 😊. A few days later me had a silly fight and he was like I can't do this anymore. 2 days later he comes to my house we had been kinda talking but not really and I knew he was going to say it.He came to my house and he said I can't do this anymore its too much you stress me ,you are jealous you don't let me go out with my friends you get annoyed etc. I was in complete shock and hurt. I have never hurt so much in my life we have been together for 3.5 years. Yes I know I can be a bit jealous but that is my own insecurities 😕 and I know I have to fix that.I could never say to him not to go out with friends he always thought I got annoyed. And sometimes I would push him to do things but it was only because I cared about him. Now he lost his mum less that a year ago at 56 years old and he did not grieve properly. And he would say to me when he broke up to me .You will be hurt for a while but you will be okay bit I will never be okay again after my mums death.He compared everything to his mum. I know he is in so much pain and we went through her illness and death together and I don't know why he pushed me away. I am doing the no contact we broke up on the 20th July and he called me 6 days later then nothing until the 16th September on my birthday and said happy birthday and then I asked him how he is and he was talking about his mum and that he is not ok. It is coming up to his mums 1year anniversary and I want to go to it but will text him first to see if he won't mind .But it's just so hard as he is grieving so bad .And I know he is hurting about that more than us.💔 And I am giving him his space and have not contacted him bit it is hard in this case as he is also grieving. I just don't know what to do.😔 .

Fighting is often unavoidable, but when it becomes too much, it’s time to nip the problem in the bud if you still can. So it's either that or you go on a break and discuss the logistics as well as how it should go and how long it should be. What were you two fighting or arguing about? It's best to consider the relationship overall first, so watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XuJFf5Kch5o.html Anyways it's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in your relationship. This may help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BBEhaY3gLIw.html Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? It could also be you're too incompatible or stubborn to meet each other halfway. If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship, as the case with your ex. It's time to reset things. Start with the 30-day "no contact" rule to get your ex into a psychological neutral. Here's how it can help you: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw

@@BradBrowning we did not really fight much it's was like little fights .I'm the 3.5 years we had been together we only had 2 big fights. He said to I winge alot well I think everyone does so did he.The only difference is he is grieving alot he lost his mum very suddenly and she was young and he did not grieve well in the begging he was ok from what he was showing and then suddenly you can see the pain much more.I helped him as much as I could.Ots so hard to help someone grieving when you don't know the pain they are going through. I think everything was a bit too much for him 😕. We broke up in July and I did do the the contract he did text a few days after break up and then we did not talk till my birthday when he sent me a message in September and then the other day on his mums anniversary. I have been doing no contact and yes it is so hard.I miss him so much

Wait for as long as you have to until you've taken care of yourself fully. I know things seem uncertain right now, especially since we're amidst a raging pandemic, but the best way to get your ex back is to take care of yourself first and get your emotional and mental health back into full gear. Awareness is key, so at least you're halfway there! :-) These changes take time to work though, so put your relationship in the back burner first just so you can really take time to really tend to your own issues first with the help of the professionals you're already talking to, okay? It's been almost one month with limited no contact due to the apartment which we have been arguing about quite a bit now, he has openly expressed how he hasn't missed me at all and that he was relieved it was over, he was already thinking about the breakup for two whole months and I had no idea, so by the time he broke up with me he was already at peace that this was the right decision and he couldn't stand me any longer in his life even though we never fought or anything! He went straight cold the day after and never discussed what bothered him in our relationship, only during our recent argument about the apartment did some information surface.

Damn that sucks. I know it does hurt brother but let me tell you this, women are very confusing creatures and I’ve learned that the best way to regret the break up and let them come to you is to be distanced from them, use the no contact, and work on yourself. Trust me I’ve had this from experience. I still miss my ex but I don’t know what she is doing and there is nothing I can do about it. It does hurt and burns really bad when they are dating someone else but believe me girls do this just to make you jealous, to act needy, desperate and clingy. Remember you must become the price, don’t chase the price because that’s what she wants. I’ve done this before with all my exes and it worked. Wish you the best

If it's a toxic relationship, why would you want to save it in the first place? Take time to see how you contributed to the toxicity and what changes you ought to make on your end if you want a second go at your relationship. If your ex is the one who's mostly toxic though, the change has to come from her. You can't force her to change.

I was born and brought up in a Hindu family in India and she is a strict Muslim family. After so many unforgettable moments with limitless discussion about the future of our relationship, now she left me by pointing out the religious problems for herself to come with her parents only after more than one and half year of strong relationship of ours. She is the first and the only love of my life, i love her so much and she will always be in my heart forever. I am 22,she is 20 in ages. I am 6'2, she is 5'7 in heights. And I was thinking that I finally got my soulmate in my life but unluckily she has changed after uncountable numbers of loving memories that we've made and tough times that we've been gone through together. True love is not for everyone in this cruel world of divided religious cultures and beliefs.😭😭 I wish if we were born in irreligious society.😥
@BradBrowning

Really sorry to hear you're going through this. It is hard indeed but traditions and beliefs get in the way. Now I don't know a ton about your culture but from what I've gathered, these strict rules of marriage you have and who to marry are unbreakable,right? In this case,I'm sorry but this is beyond a relationship counsellor's reach. We don't make or bend these laws as it's strictly your own. Understand that the choice is ultimately up to your ex on whether to fight for you or not despite the opposition going on. Good luck!

@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 года назад
If you do have to make some changes, then do it for yourself and never for anyone else, okay? See, making changes for the sake of someone is considered seeking validation, and that's an unattractive trait in and of itself… so it naturally won't do anything to rebuild the attraction necessary to get your ex back in the long run. On the other hand, if these are changes that you know within yourself that you need to make, then it's important to take time so be sure you aren’t rushing it because permanent, lasting changes don't happen overnight and your ex can actually see through it. Also, pain (that's why your ex dumped you) is a very good teacher and motivator not to mention a huge catalyst, so making these changes within yourself in order for the possibility to come back together stronger and better is what you can expect and you will be able to use this progress if not for your ex, then with someone new. Does that make sense? With that in mind, watch this vid to subtly show these changes to your ex: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bZ1KetALZrc.html

Hi Brad!!! So I feel like my situation is very unique.. but basically my ex and I split so that we can work on ourselves then have a fresh start together. We relied on each other too much we both lost ourselves so we needed to work on that separately. It’s been almost 2 months of no contact BUT only last week we did have a conversation about how we’ve been. He did mention he wants to see me when the times right, when we’re both ready. But he won’t be ready until he can cope with it all emotionally. I think it’s the same with me, I need to be comfortable living within myself before I can see him again. Otherwise I’ll fall into my old needy habits. Have you ever had a situation like this? How long roughly do you think we will both need to be able to emotionally handle the breakup so we’re able to reconnect? Do you have any thoughts? Thank you so much ❤️

This sounds like a very abusive relationship, man. Are you sure this is something you wanted to pursue? What did you do to cause her to slap you? Gaining access to her house also seems vague. My ex said that he needed space to get ever me because it was too painful so I k now he misses me, however he said he didn't want to see me for 6 to 12 months and he's blocked me on messenger and texts so how do I contact him? I will follow the rule for no contact for next 30 days. I am worried he won't want me back as he had jealousy issues and told me not to contact him and he hasn't contacted me at all. Unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. More about that on here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5UT92IB5ugs.html Anyway social media should be the least of your concerns. Good day Brad, I'm on my 5th day in this no contact rule, but I've communicated with her friends and mom about how I feel because of the pain and regrets. We broke up because she wants someone in her life that will always stay and I am away. Last December an old friend of her have been communicating with her and later this January she confessed that she has feelings for him already but I am the one she loves. After that we had many hot n cold conversations because of me being jealous and angry of the other guy and eventually we broke up. This feb 24 she posted that she's already dating that guy and described it as Imagining finding both love and friendship in one person. I love her so much and I am in so much pain. Do I still have a chance of getting her back? What should I do? your videos have been giving me hope and am thankful for it.

Away? Is this a long distance relationship? The distance has clearly taken its toll here and your ex could be rebounding and the other person is providing the physical companionship which you couldn't offer at the moment. However, you should not, under any circumstances, wait to find out whether their relationship works out or not. Focus on yourself instead and love yourself first. Hi Brad, I love your videos. My ex bf just broke up with me like 2 weeks ago. We were together before the pandemic like 6 months and after that the pandemic and the border closed he flew back to his country. Its been for like 2.5 years that we never met. Last month he started to the breaking up conversation that made me so shocked bc he never said it before and like I know he didn't have any affairs or see someone else out there. But its about the distance he told me that he can't do it anymore and he can't have an emotional connected with someone who is so far away. It doesn't work out for him and he thought he could wait. But unfortunately he can't bear it now. Also he have lost some of his feelings for me bc of the distance. If we didnt have this situation it won't turn out or become like this. He said he was really love me tho. He said I'm really amazing and he still want me in his life or keep contact. He said it breaks his heart too. Also everytime we talk about it he said he cried a lot and he missed me even when we broke up now. And he said he has to focus on his work to make him feel a bit better not super sad for our breaking up. Also he just started his new work and he easily stressed out with it. I really hope that I can be there for him but I can't. What should I do ? Will I get another chance to get him back together again? I really really love him. And we were really good together. And its the covid that ruin it right? I hope you can give me some advice. Really thanks for that.

He was upset I contacted his friend and seemed very jealous that I was already planning on going on dates.. Even though he hasn't talked to me in 2 weeks. Play your cards right and notice the world of difference that this can make. Stick to the "no contact" rule this time for at least 30 days. Here's how you can tell it's starting to work: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T4Sz6DiWRsQ.html AND the importance of silence after the breakup here: y2u.be/zw0ChuXCEmw and in the meantime, this is the principle you ought to follow: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EfbgU7v0Ny4.html A situation with an ex is often fragile, so you'd really want to omit, if not minimize these mistakes. Hey brad, I broke up with my own ex recently, however it was only for one reason - that we couldnt really see each other often physically because she was restrcted from going outside too often, we only saw each other a maximum of 15 times in 8 months.I might have messed up by asking her obsessively about if this or that wouldve worked out but at one point asked her if things would have worked out if i moved to her school to see her more often and she said it could have in the past. and to add to that in in the final breakup message she said that "maybe in the future but not right now". She has been really nice because she is a good person in the heart. She said she wouldve cried if she told me in person. Please tell me your opinions on this, is there a chance well get back together?, Should i start doing the no contact rule straight away?

Arguments and fights, they take two to tango. Depending on the role you played in it, you really have to chill out and work on yourself first. Panicking won't help because rushing or forcing things will never work to your favour and any drama or argument will only make things worse. Cut off contact again and this time, really work on yourself because it doesn't seem like you're doing it right if you can easily spark an argument with your ex. Hey Brad, I've been watching a lot of your videos recently and they're really amazing. I broke up with my gf today and I'm left feeling like I want her back. She's told me she still loves me but that the relationship I have with her is not something she wants right now. I was too clingy and dependent on her before, but now that I've changed it's too late to get her back. It's her first relationship and my third, and we were both very passionate with each other. She's said she doesn't want me to disappear and I said I'll leave WhatsApp untouched, but will unfollow her on other social media platforms. I've met all her family, and all her childhood friends. I don't want to lose her, and I'm scared that I will, and that I came off too strong saying we should just break up (but I felt like she was going to say it anyway so I thought I would say we can mutually agree to break up, and she nodded very sadly). She cried but I tried to show her my fun and playful side every now and then to show that I'm different to how she thought I was before. I did make her laugh quite a lot, and I know she doesn't want to let go of me. She's told me she still loves me and I know I still love her. We broke up because of poor communication and I want to get back with her. Should I really be not talking to her for 30 days, when she's going to be busy with friends, studies, and everything else? (And if she messages me a normal message asking how I'm doing, should I even read the message, or just leave it on unread?) (Really love the videos. Keep them coming!)

Try to prevent things from getting even more awkward than it has to be by applying the tips here as much as possible: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GTjEAGJWTuA.html AND ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dDZrnNh8LOg.html

It ended up with her blocking me everywhere and this is the first time in eight years that we’ve had more than a month with NC. Should I go for 60-90 days? Will she ever come back? Because we had a very turbulent ending where I told her I never wanted to hear from her again. I might have made a mistake but I think it was the right decision. Edit: I need to add that we had a breakup few years ago and it ended up with me coming back to her. Maybe she’s expecting the same thing to happend this time again? What do you think?

alright, i need some advice, my guy. Recently, my ex broke up with me because the long distance was getting hard (it was a long stretch we had to take from not seeing each other), and we began fighting more often. I would say that the fighting was mostly due to my own mental health taking a dive and her stress from school. And before that, we were having some problems, mostly because i was sacrificing myself to do what she wanted (though I was still happy and content to do so)(this was about a 1 and a half month span that i did this) It was bad timing for a chemical imbalance. We were together for almost 7 months and the good definitely out weighed the bad. We stopped contact for a few weeks after breaking up, then at the beginning of October, we began talking again. I recently just spent four days with her and it felt exactly like before (amazing), and i could tell that she was missing it all just like I had been. I have definitely learned from my past behaviors and I'm ready to fight for her, but I'm not sure what to do now! I found your videos, hoping they would give me some incite, but I really don't know. Sorry, man, but chances are your girl has been at least emotionally cheating on you. Discussed that in depth here: y2u.be/7KE6nb4-ndA There's no easy way to say this but the answer is is to move on, especially if your ex doesn't seem to be regretting their actions and asking to get back together. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the relationship, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. But take into consideration about what I’ve mentioned here, too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m27TLeyUmwg.html There is no right or wrong answer here because it is your relationship and it's personal to you. Make sense? Anyway men and women cheat for different reasons, but if you think your ex is worth it and if there's been a genuine connection between you two before the cheating happened, then try to see the roles that you BOTH played that led to all this mess and see once and for all if it can be resolved or not, okay? Really take your time before deciding though and be sure not to make any hasty decisions from an emotional place. Take care!

Hi Brad. I’ve been watching your videos for the past few weeks. I’ve been with my gf for just under a year. Suddenly she called for time out saying she wasn’t 100% (a break) know she’s been under stress etc with family and son. I’m meeting her on Friday (uk time) to have a “talk”. Do you have any tips or videos how can avoid a break up?

Assess the risks first if it's all worth it. Remember, meeting up when you're both not ready will only alienate your ex further, and that's best case scenario. My seperated wife is truly broken. She wanted a separation about a. Year ago. I did everything wrong, begged, pleaded and so forth. We communicated daily for months. Even when she got a bf shortly after separation. They broke up in April, she then really opened up and would communicate heavily with me. Shortly after she got a new boyfriend and she became super hateful towards me. They broke up in August, I was in no contact. She reached out wanted to take the whole family and do dinner, we hung out a few times with kids involved and she said, I really have changed. Shortly after, she now has a new boyfriend, now she wants a dissolution and is very cold, not hateful, just cold. I'm back in no contact.

Surely if I send him the good reminder message eg the example you mentioned he'd think that I still want to be with him and I'm not over him...wouldn't that be something not to do? Shouldn't the goal be to seem like you're not focused on getting them back, so reminiscing on romantic memories would give him the wrong signal

The purpose is to rebuild attraction. Obviously this isn't something you'd sporadically say when you're only trying to break the ice with your ex. Hey Brad I need some advice quick! So I dated a girl for a few months 4 years ago when we were 16 and 15. We ended it bc she didn’t feel quite ready but hung out for 2 more months but she still wasn’t ready so she told me to move on and maybe we can cross paths in the future. A few months later I started dating a close friend for 3 and a half years. She left me for someone else but both of our feelings were leaving. I’m glad that relationship is now over but I realized I always had my first ex in my mind so I texted her a few days ago and we caught up a little and she asked me how we were and I told her we’re over now. She seemed happy to hear from me after 4 years but then stated answering my texts about a day later now but Ik she’s busy. If I want her back and go slow 4 years later and she knows I dated someone else for years and heard she missed me during that time, what do u think is the best way to get her back slowly since I don’t want her to think I’m just acting like I miss her or using her?

Yes, but with little to no time in between, it's likely a rebound which tend to fail sooner or later but that shouldn't be your concern. The 30-day "no contact" rule can work for you in the following ways: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zw0ChuXCEmw.html Your ex is diverting his/her attention to someone else, which is the easiest thing to do and is really just his/her way of coping. If anything, your ex is suffering, too, even though it may not seem like it. Discussed that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7KE6nb4-ndA.html So that's what you ought to be doing too. Here, watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gUBNd6pDINM.html so try to put your focus elsewhere because your ex is likely rebounding and you're only wasting precious minutes of your life worrying about something that's out of your control. Watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TBtb34gy6zw.html Now lastly, keep in mind that your ex is suffering too, even though they try to cover it up. I’ve been in a relationship for 7 years, maybe I was blind to the signs. But I thought this was the most productive year of our relationship. Turns out she found someone else to replace me. She didn’t cheat but he was lined up as soon we broke up. She has little experience with men, and my friend Luke said that lack of experience causes lack of perspective. We talked for a few days after the relationship. I did get desperate and we did talk for a few days post break up. but I plan on employing the 30 day no contact rule. Do you think I still have a chance?

That's a huge mistake indeed. You have to realize that no amount of loving someone can make someone love you back. You ought to give it time and play your cards right, yeah? Redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time. But watch this first to help manage your expectations: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OzVymYnQFTk.html Here's how you can tell you're doing the "no contact" rule properly: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f7zuXk-sVsI.html It may help to make use of the clean slate template, which is a free version from a piece of my Ex Factor Guide. Watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6K3xufEwEFg.html The main goal is to bring your ex into an emotional neutral state by employing the 30-day “no contact” rule -- let your ex miss you and don't rush it. But in order to fully understand how this concept works, watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com

@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 10 месяцев назад
That's a bad idea as that will absolutely lead you nowhere. Don't do it, man. She's lost attraction for you and it's a terrible idea to be friends with her. You ought to cut off contact for at least 30 days first. Silence is key and here's why: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zw0ChuXCEmw.html If you continue being friends right away, the boundaries won't be clear and you're technically both free to date other people. Wouldn't it be pure torture if your ex dates a rebound in front of you because you're only "friends" now, don't you think? So it’s not a good idea, especially if you want this ex back. Watch these two videos so you’ll know why being friends won’t lead you anywhere you wanna be with your ex and how to get out of this trap, respectively at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pv_cjzhVKAY.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sS4V4IOcOgs.html but read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, along with bonus materials for texting. Once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XonMtLFo000.html but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BAhMrmw3Sms.html This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. I get this question a lot so I wouldn't be surprised if you've found your answer before I even get to it -- if you've checked my other videos, that is. In this type of situation, try to limit your contact with your ex. And by that I mean only interact with him/her "only" when absolutely necessary. Watch one of the latest videos I've posted here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dDZrnNh8LOg.html Your case is actually one of the few cases where the “no contact” rule is an exception...but DON'T initiate random contact in any way and don’t make any unnecessary chitchats, all right? I've discussed it in these videos, as well as how to handle it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zKhNHhEmYMg.html but read my Ex Factor Guide because you still ought to go through the basics as well. @BradBrowning 2 года назад
He could just be pissed, so give it time. Also try not to be too needy especially if you know he's busy. Busy yourself as well so you won't miss him as much! :-) That should help you avoid unnecessary fights. Also the distance will always be a major culprit. Is this long distance scenario temporary? Because if it isn't, then may be as good as over. Ive recently have been trying to get back togeather but she said she has started talking to someone else and i should move on. But she still found it in her to do a quick meet up last week, emotions are high and stressed, what could i do?
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 года назад
I'd still suggest to give the "no contact" rule a shot because that's still really your best bet, which will work in a sense where you BOTH will get to clear your mind to be in a better position to deal with each other when the time comes - instead of letting emotions overrule everything, risking things to get blown out of proportion even further. Makes sense? But will no contact ALONE work to get your ex back? Sometimes it does, but other times (especially if your situation is unique) it won't, because the no contact phase is only part one of the three-step process I teach in my Ex Factor Guide. Learn the basics here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aeGNPBdpnsI.html There's also a risk of you being strung along if you don't cut off contact and give each other that much needed space and while it's beneficial for your ex, it's really detrimental to the dumpee in the end, so be careful. I also made a quick vid to those who are seemingly lost and could use a reminder on what to do: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-obBIttQSak4.html

Hi sir, I hope you will answer my question. She break up with me some days ago. We text normal good morning and good night, Not more. Is this messages are good? And she is very sad because her uncle passed away. She texting about it. Is this a good sign? Or I need to start no contact. There is any chance?

You'd really want to avoid any small chitchat with your ex at this time, assuming the breakup is still fresh? You both need the time and space. Anyway what your ex text you is what I call the "check-in" text and your ex is somewhat expected to send one or more of these sooner or later and here's how to handle each text. Discussed that in one of the vids, including how to handle that kind of message, here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VMAHVJ6tvSM.html

We were together for 5 years, we’ve been split for two weeks talking from time to time. She began sleeping with one of my friends a week after we split up and is with him all the time now. She told me she talks about me all the time to him. Yet she tells me she’s not ready to see me again yet and claims “when she’s ready to start dating again she’ll give me the first chance” Not sure if I should employ no contact or if that would be a mistake and to keep trying to talk to her and keep on the pressure? She also said something about still going on dates but not dating anyone just yet. Not sure what to do.

Hey Brad, I really need your help. My bf and I broke up on October 22th. this was because of our mental health. We are both struggeling with issues and it has affected the relationship in a bad way. He told me that he 'misses the happy Zoë'. Right now I am trying to focus on myself so I can be myself once again. And I started the no-contact rule on November 1st. But I really want him back. Can you please help me....

Hi there! Getting an ex back is a gradual process, so there's no one-action solution for this. Okay? This vid contains an infograph that might be of help to you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7JtmVbDkblw.html but watch this too as this contains equally important information: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BLTA4yjTc2I.html The "no contact" phase is a good start, so do that first if you haven’t yet, for 30 days. If you have, then I'm glad you've completed it. There are two more phases to go with a few other steps in between (in the right order). What I'm trying to say here is it's a 3-phase process, and it's a bit complicated to explain it all on here, but I made an overview in the hopes of making people understand, so watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aeGNPBdpnsI.html or read my guide for the entire process. Hi Brad, i broke up with my bf three month ago and a month later we tried to figure it out, he was trying to win me back however something happened and we broke it up again, this time I want him back but I have a feeling that he has already moved on, he told be he want to try again but that he doesn’t have romantic feelings for me and scared of hurting me if it doesn’t work out. I’m goin back home for a month and intended on using the no contact rule during that period. But im scared it’s too late.

What if you live together - and there isn't an option of not. Is this all still applicable? Just continue doing normal stuff around the house, but just try to not have much contact with them? Isn't it kind of impossible for them to miss you if you are seeing each other every day?

I failed no contact when wee first split because she wouldn't actually tell me that she didn't want to be with me. It also didn't help that she has a friend that is hell bent on making my ex actually hate me and to isolate her social life. I have told her before that her friends were toxic and are only around when our relationship was in a rut, and I feel as though that her friend manipulated her into planning our breakup. I came to that conclusion because both times that we have split up she was behind her smiling at me while my heart was being broken and my Ex cannot see that she isn't a good person at heart, and that she is only around to make me seem like a terrible person. Is there any way to help her realize that and she was the reason we broke up?

Should i prolong the 30 day no-contact for like a week or so? I've done a lot of begging for about a month or a bit longer after breaking up.. is 30 days of no-contact enough then (reason of loss of attraction was months of annoyment, jealousy, controlling, all that kind of stuff)? Or should it be prolonged (long-distance aswell, but that's not the reason for breakup) He was the one who insisted on staying friends etc and wanted to continue talking, and when I didn't speak to him for a few days, he got a bit annoyed and concerned i guess.. and when i said i hadn't cried in weeks he was like.. "you got over me.." (seemed weird about it) but then i broke the no-contact (didn't know about it yet), and started the real no-contact just a few weeks later.. and haven't heard from him since his last message after I began no-contact (on good terms, i sent him a positive message but didn't say that I was starting no-contact). I have 11 days left at this point

With on-and-off relationships, oftentimes this is a sign of underlying issues which have been left unaddressed for quite some time. It may be time to put things into perspective while it's still early because in 14 years spent as a relationship online coach alone, I find that a breakup is often NOT just one person's fault, so look at the roles that you've BOTH played that led to the breakup and if the issues have a chance to get resolved, and how to go about it. In most cases, the problems that led to the breakup can be resolved, but in some cases, it can't. So take time to evaluate, okay? However, I have to warn you not to ask the reasons from your ex. This is what I've discussed here along with other stuff that might help you, so this is a must-watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zqAEi9PbEAA.html But if you're interested in making this your last breakup, sign up for my coaching program at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching especially if there's an available spot. Hi Bard. She contacted me after no contact, for the first 2 weeks she's acting distant and kinda mixed messages. But start from this week she instantly becomes so positive to me, like all of sudden she talks to me like we did before, jokes around, and even sends me 50s of the voice message about her life. I can see her tone and emotion is so uplifting now that gives me a sense of unreal and worry. What sign can this be, like 5 days ago she nearly respond to my message and was very cold. And I feel it's still hard to have a breakthrough at the moment because I don't know when it's a good time to suggest back together. Thank you

I do too, but I'm giving you what you wanted? It's only been around a week since I started no contact. Thank you Sir
@BradBrowning
@BradBrowning 2 года назад
It's generally not a good idea to respond to small talks with an ex especially this early on when you both needed space. As to your response, there's no need to say that. She dumped you, so you take time to heal. And unless your situation falls under one or more of the scenarios here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W7iC-gHmZ2A.html it's best you ignore contact from your ex. If your ex continues to reach out to you, however, then this really depends on the frequency and nature of the contact from your ex and whether or not you've reached the phase where you're supposed to be talking again. The only exception is if your ex asks for you back and is sincere about it. If your ex continually messages you, then it’s important to put your ex’s messages into context, more so if this happened during the “no contact” phase. Is your ex trying to contact you about something really important, like an emergency, unpaid bills, or something equally urgent? These are reasons to respond, including messages where they get angry due to your lack of response. Discussed that in full detail here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GTjEAGJWTuA.html So if your ex is really just texting some useless random stuff and/or asses her power over you, then you can just ignore and continue on with the 30-day "no contact" rule. Use your discretion. Watch and follow the tips here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bgOG9s1fac8.html

Follow the guide to a tee. Even if she tells you she loves you, the fact that she's chosen someone else is something you should put into consideration. It's her choice to stay or get out of that relationship and the best thing you can do right now is to live your life without your ex. And be sure to apply the first step on the guide which is actually to employ the 30-day rule. Okay? Read the guide again so you understand why this needs to happen first. Best of luck!

@@BradBrowning I did cut off contact I removed her on Snapchat and Instagram but then I got a text 2 days later saying she wants to talk. So I just don’t know what to do because now she wants me on social media

Do these steps still apply if they get into another relationship three weeks after breakup?

Yes, the new person isn't you. Here, watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gUBNd6pDINM.html so try to put your focus elsewhere because your ex is likely rebounding and you're only wasting precious minutes of your life worrying about something that's out of your control whether the rebound ends up working out or not. Watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TBtb34gy6zw.html Now lastly, keep in mind that your ex is suffering too, even though they try to cover it up.
