Hi Craig Another awesome video 👍🏻 I’m overseas atm visiting family in Europe,as I’ve just been too London Last Friday morning I was having Breakfast minding my own business thinking abt what I was going to do for the day THe table I was sitting at had three vacant seats. I was getting myself some toast when this absolutely beautiful women sat at my table with her two sons. We got talking and shared our life’s and experiences She was born in Spain now lives in France I’m from Australia 🇦🇺 We really hit it off so well Her personality charisma Is really nice We spent time together and had an awesome time We are making plans too see eachother again and we havnt stopped talking. The realisation that my LDR Ex is no longer a priority and she is now in the deep freeze ! I literally sat down to order lunch today at a restaurant when a waitress put food on the table next to mine. The next thing I saw was my ex sitting down to eat. He was outside on the phone while waiting for his food. I dyed my hair blonde so he didn’t recognize me at first. We hugged, his hug was long and hard. We then spoke about our lives for an hour. We went our separate ways and he said, “maybe I will run in to you again sometime!” I thought about him all day afterwards.

Im in this situation now, my ex and I were together for five years and broke up while she was at long distance for the past 8 months. In at least 2 weeks time, she'll be back home. Update: My ex was forced to come home due to the pandemic. We met today "for closure" after three months of No contact. Damn I found out she had been rebounding with somebody in the States, and now they are separated by distance! Im not saying its instant karma or what. Im glad that even though things didnt work out for a comeback, I had listened to Coach and worked on myself. Now im fitter, happier, and in a better place in my life.

omg thank you craig for this video!! I'm at that stage where I just got in contact with my "ex" (we have been seeing each other for a bit but never made it official) after 5 weeks of us breaking up. And we have been texting a little bit here and there. Can you PLEASE do a video on the initial contact with ex, through texts. What should you text, how much should you text, and how to lead it up to a "date" / casual meet up to show them that you have changed! If they don't text you back in a few days (2-3) does that mean that they are still interested? Even though their previous texts they asked you questions etc. seemed like they wanted to ask how you were doing. That would help SO MUCH!!! I've been binge watching your videos now for 2 weeks and it has helped so much already!!

My ex reached out at a party we were both at. I asked if she wanted to get lunch. We caught up with each other’s lives and I talked about how I’ve learned a lot about about attachment styles and trauma. She wanted a hug and said we should hang out again. I told her to let me know. I think I waited a week or two and asked if she still wanted to hang out. I get the “Sorry, I’ve been busy. We can still hang out” excuse. I give her my schedule and suggest a time. Haven’t heard back for six months lol.

Thing is if your ex broke up with you, then they're the ones to repair the damage they've done and get you back. You most likely showed neediness, which relieved her break-up anxiety and made it easier for her to move on. It happens when you do not value yourself enough.

What up coach. Appreciate ur videos. U a big help. After 3 weeks no contact my ex wanted to meet up with me so she could return the grand gesture that I had given her. So instead ima get her a gift certificate to the same place. Cuz I wanted to do something for her to have a happy bday and a nice Xmas. But this was delivered to her bout 3 weeks ago. And she said she didn’t want it but she kept it till now. She tried returning it to the store to do an exchange and they didn’t let her. Anyway so she called me while I was at work. What do I do if she says she needed space, and agreed that I should completely let go and we'll see what happens? She has some stuff here that we also agreed she would come get, and she said she'll let me know when she can. She's off every bit of my social media, we just have each other's phone number. I still haven't heard from her on when she'll come get her stuff (and bring my key back) and am not sure what I should do or how to handle it. Do I act warm and welcoming and SHOW her that I still care? Or do I seem standoffish, cold, not talk much, and only talk about things if SHE brings it up?

My wife left a 35 year marriage after getting into a 7 week affair. My question is, why should I have to be the one who has to pussy foot around her? In my opinion, she should be the one to eat humble pie. Yes, I made mistakes, so did she in equal measure. I forgave at the time, she didn't. When we broke up I started a journal and therapy and what has come out is that I don't want her back. She is too flawed and I don't think I can get over the fact that she gave herself to another man. I still want her to apologize for what she did to me. Instead of the lies and deception, she should have come clean at the beginning. She went cold on me after a week, so I already knew but she kept on denying it.

Hey Craig! I am unable to get your coaching session for financial situation. But i am in a situation where i am so much confused on how to handle it. My ex is my neighbour and he broke up with me few days back and i tried to avoid meeting him but we are so close that i end up seeing him every single day at some point. I did avoid him for couple of days coz i was angry amd hurt but now i just greet him back politely or just smile if he greets me whenever we cross paths. But i am just too hurt inside and smiling is hard. However i manage to do so. And i really really seek your advice or at least a video that would help me for my situation. Please! My ex called me for my birthday after 3 months of no-contact, and we had our first meeting yesterday. It was fine, it wasn't awkward, I was proud of how I handled myself, I was relaxed and happy and didn't bring up the breakup or anything. He said I looked great and he hopes to see me again soon, but his attitude didn't seem at all flirty, so I'm wondering if maybe he was just looking for closure or wants to be friends? It's ok either way, but it was hard to tell what his intention was in meeting up.

I remember the day she reached out. We exchanged a couple of messages and then told her that Id like to see her and when was she free. She said yesss but now lived in another city. I was so happy to recieve a yes for an aswear so I kept it cool and told her when she comes we can hang out. It was just 2 hours away. She kept reaching out for the next couple of weeks. Always asking question always showing interest. She reached out on my bday. 2 days after my bday she reached out again and as we were texting she mentions that she calls her now boyfriend a certain nickname. It just happens that I call my bestfriend the same and she said she just remembered that and wanted to know if I still call him the same. That was last year and all the feeling I had towards her faded almost instantly. I was angry at her. I had done at that point no contact to perfection. On the contrary she had been stalking me for 7 months. At the end it was her who confirmed my biggest fears. I hate her.

Lori, I expect you know the answer to that one. Or one of the answers. Good relationships need openness and honesty. They need both of your needs to be met., so if you’re not being told everything and you feel you need to be told then you need to get to the bottom of why this important connection is being suspended before you commit again. It sounds like a narcissistic hoover and you have to be careful you’re not going to be cast aside again. Don’t allow yourself to be short changed. If you love someone you have to work on them to make them a better person if they’re not reaching the bare minimum of acceptable behaviour. Be strong and you’ll be alright.

Yeah, stick to no contact for now and look what happens. I've been blocked a lot in the past and giving him space got me in a better position, I've seen my ex again a few times. Not back together yet, but still working. Wishing you all the best in your situation x

Being blocked is a kind suspension. It’s either because you’ve been so annoying they can’t hack it any more, or it’s to get you out of the way while they get it on with another person. Especially if you know something critically important about them which they would rather not be reminded of. Especially if they secretly love you but for whatever reason think they’ll be happier with someone else. It’s a horrible thought but it’s better to be blocked than exposed to it all. It shows you’re still important, unless you’ve been so completely foolish or abusive.....but yeah, when I’m blocked I might send a “hope you’re ok but I wont be sending anything else” type email at the start and then leave it. Good luck to her, I’m alright, I hope she is too.

@@AI-tf4rf She only met to confirm the break up in person. I went in thinking I wasn't going to beg, plea and cry, but I did. My advice to you is express that you see a chance and want to work on it, and keep emotions to the minimum. Begging and pleaing will make her lose more attraction to you no matter how you rationalize it in the moment.

I was able to reatract my ex and we spent time with each other for a couple of months only for her to get scared and push me away again...I wasn't pushy, or even mentioned the past breakup...oh well back to NC and continued self progression...I'm fine with it

It’s been a week since the break up, he said he needed space and time to be single. A few days later texted me first a few times to tell me he missed me. I asked him if he was willing to meet me at the end of the week instantly he asked where and when. We meet tomorrow a part of me feels so foolish the other part of me is hoping it all works out in our favor. I wanted to meet up to apologize and get closure I’ve been working on myself a lot and even though it’s only been a week a lot has changed in my life medically emotionally and even spiritually. I feel like I’m a new person, I have a new mindset if he doesn’t see if that’s fine the worst has already happened. I know I’m doing the right thing for myself regardless but the anxiety drives me bananas.

He was too immature for what I was looking for and I’m glad the haze has fallen from my eyes. For a while we were still friends and would talk now and then until he went to the military. Haven’t spoken to him since. On the bright side I’ve been in a relationship for the last 2 yrs🫶🏽🫶🏽 he’s my bestie

I'm in a real NC now with my ex, we had did a 6-8 week NC, then she reached out. Started off ok then she wonder why I hadn't reached out to her for so long. I told her she gave me vibes she wanted space & I was working on personal growth (I came across attachment style). She got upset & started giving me the silent treatment. So I called her one last time & begun the real NC. I hope she reaches out in due time & when she does, I'll follow the advice of Craig!

@@kungfukenny1540 hey man I updated above, the tldr is I met upnwith her she was opento try again but kept putting it off, I realised she was keeping me as a plan b so I moved on and found someone even better suited to me while my ex became more and more miserable, allow yourself to mourn the relationship, watch coach Craig and improve yourself, if you do that it's going to be a win win for you whether you get your ex back or not, I know it doesn't feel like that right now, i know how shit breakups are, don't be too hard on yourself... and stay no contact, the urge will be strong to reach out, but don't let your heart convince your logical mind to break it because as soon as you reach out you give her that validation that she need right now and you start all over again at day 1. You've got this man!

My ex reached out on valentine's day, she invited me to valentine's day party in a classroom(we were at school). I did not talk about the relationship or the breakup, I basically made her laugh, smile, and being myself. The next week we returned to school, I was waiting for my friend to come pick me up after school. She comes up to me telling me I look nice(I had an job interview). Then later in a few weeks I noticed she was cold(I was already in no contact). Even here and there she'll hangout at places where I hangout at(in the school library). On march we went to a field trip, I noticed on the bus she sat a seat right behind me with her friend. Not much information from there, but since school is done for the rest of the year I stayed in no contact. Should I still stay no contact?

Can you make a video on how vacations and trips effect people? My gf of 4 years flew to asia for two weeks with an art class. She came back as a different person, being cold and ignorant. Then confessed she cheated on me with a guy she met there (from her art class) and fell in love with him. And she said weird and hurtful things, also comparing me to him for two hours straight. She mentioned they basically came together during those two weeks. And she did some more weird and crazy stuff that doesn't sound like her at all...

Same thing happened to me too. My ex flew overseas for a solo trip for a few weeks and came back to break up with me. Before he left he even said he love me very much and few weeks after he came back and cheated on me with an old Friend that he reconnected during his trip, he claims that she’s always been on his mind and that she’s his soul mate!

@@hn8986 it's such a strange situation. The difference is, my ex didn't know anyone until that trip. Regardless, I feel you. I felt dishonored and replacable. I go to therapy because of severe depression, which came back about a year ago. Before her trip I confessed to her that it's back and that I need her the most right now. See where that went... She broke up on our 4th anniversary after I gave her her presents. She confessed everything then. It's almost 2 months now and I'm doing better, I broke up any form of contact. Yesterday I got my stuff back from her, a friend got it for me. There was a handwritten letter of 4 pages in the bag. I didn't read it and prolly not going to, since I sent it to 3 close friends and askes them if it's worth reading or not. They said DON'T read it. So yeah. That's my story in very very short.

She said she can't date anyone, but wants to see me, wants to hang out with me. I don't know what to make of it, but am appreciative of my time with her. Our last "hangout" was dinner and a movie. We had fun, and I went to bed happy for the first time since sleeping next to her. It's all very confusing to me, so I am sticking to the self improvement: emotionally, mentally, physically, religiously, and professionally. Praying this all turns around.

You have to try to ignore that feeling of “god I hope she takes me back and things are like they used to be” and turn it into, “god Im excited to catch up and see if shes grown as a person as much as I have” its tough but you gotta know your self worth if you want to be in the right mindset to attract an ex.

@@jkim1241 I like how you flipped the script on that, and I will actively push myself into that mindset, which will be difficult, but it ultimately is more optimistic. I know for a fact that she's depressed. Whether or not she's reconsidering me, I'm unsure. It's been very hard to hear her talk about how sad she is and how she thinks she failed in a lot of ways. She doesn't seem to be putting in the same kind of effort into growing.

James Knoll if shes unable to talk about anything besides the past, she definitely hasnt grown as much as you. Which to be fair is normal for the dumper. Breakups are more transformative for the dumpee usually. I would suggest you tell her to just focus on the present and the future if she brings up the past again in conversation and change the subject. It kind of sounds like she is seeing you out of guilt and loneliness. You being too available and being her shoulder to cry on might not be a good idea. Try to do things that engage both of your minds so you both can be more present and just enjoy your time together instead of it just talking about serious stuff so much. She shouldnt be sad when you guys are together or thinking about her failures and its your job to flip that script.
