I feel like if the Panthers lose game 7, you'll have to look at what happened to the Atlanta Falcons after 2017. They spiraled into irrelevance and players that were heros of the team were tainted and eventually left. They have multiple key free agents they're set to lose, and if they have a choker label around them it may scare off replacement depth that they will desperately need.
Definitely could see that, this Panthers team isn't old by any means but back to back cup finals appearances are so rare wouldn't be shocked if they never make it back.
If the Panthers don’t win now they might only have one chance left down the line with this core. The mileage of playing 206 games across 2 seasons will start to hit like their neighbors to the west.
It would definitely be way more painful for the Panthers. It would be like coming to the dance 3 times and coming home empty-handed. Especially 3-0 is like a 99.9999% in the bag but now 3-3... 50/50 for both of the teams.
Yeah if this comeback happens it will be up there with Lebron leading Cleveland back from 3-1 and Brady coming back 28-3. It might even be more impressive arguably.
Crosby fan here. McDavid is amazing, he is why they are in a game 7. He will be the face of the league for the next decade regardless, and if he wins this one, it will be the first among many.
Bro bruins fans are all collectively praying on the Panther’s downfall here. They need to no longer be the king of the choke. Also Mike you should make a video breaking the western and eastern conference teams’s cap situations. 😁
Only been a subscriber for 4 (MAYBE)5 months, but I tested a while agowhere I wanted Mr Bartner doing a video after the SC final on those big names that still haven´t won the SC. Something like that. I stand by that but also understand that I´ve been not a long sub. My hope is still on Florida.
@@MikeBartner Thank you, I will look but I can´t comment since I don´t have an insta account. Close to 1h now before the seventh game and, a bold guess, I think Florida jumps back and wins.
It pains me to say but I wouldn't be sad if Montour didn't stay and he was my favorite player in the 22/23 season. I think/ hope Ekblad gets moved regardless this off-season. Let him get s refresh send him to Utah or Chicago or something for a year and test free agency but he's gotta go
Tomorrow, will the Panthers win their 1st Stanley Cup in franchise history, or will the Oilers win their 1st Stanley Cup in 34 years after being down 0-3?
RNH locks up a jersey retirement probably, Hyman it's just funny bc the Leafs let him go and Ekholm he finally gets the world wide respect as the amazing two way guy he's been for the last decade.
@@MikeBartner Ekblad has been horrible this playoffs and has been mediocre his whole career. The fact that you said jersey retirement is mind blowing. dude is playing like a 40 year old at 28 years old. The GM is 100% trying to offload that horrendous contract if they lose the series. Mike you might be off your rocker here
