"Is connie's sick dodie yellow tho" LOL I love music so much, and i can pick up instruments pretty easily, but I can't compose. It's just not there. I don't hear new songs or melodies. I can write lyrics, but...my point is, is I so appreciate people who can. I am fascinated by singer/songwriters and the magic that they create. I look forward to you becoming big enough that you can tour in the US. Hope an LP is in the works because your EP is beautiful and fun and I can only imagine what a full album would be. I happily support you on patreon and watch your videos, yet I wish there was more I could do. I wrote this poem years ago, inspired by a guy who'd always send me clips of songs he was writing. While writing this comment, i thought of it and i thought of you, and it perfectly encapsulates how I feel. So here it is. It's so awesome to see how you've progressed! I saw you in Akron, Ohio (not where I live, we made a road trip out of it) before Intertwined came out. Tessa and Rusty had an incredible show, and it goes without saying that our Dodes did too. When I met you (no ballot because the show was pretty small) my friend gave me a picture she drew of you to give to you! You called her Incredibly Talented and honestly, it was probably just a filler compliment, but it meant so much to us. My little sister brought you a pretty pastel fake potted plant she made and a little card, and she was ecstatic to be there as well :)Love ya dodie. It's incredible to see how much you've grown

This simultaneously makes me sad I couldn't go, and happy because now I feel like I sort of did. I gave out Chupa Chups to my friends at school, because we were all sad we couldn't get to where you were playing. (The closest was Sheffield, but it was a school day, and train fares would have totalled to be quite expensive.)
