Thank you! If you select multiple sheets it will only play that selection. We are planning to add start and end point on the timeline in the future, as well as masks.

OMG?! i just found out about this app and holy moly! this is amazing! i will defiantly be buying this app. I used to make keyframe animations on AE but i stopped because it was too inconvenient since im a college student, now since i got my new ipad a few months ago i can make them again! thanks!

I love the program! How do I import text into my animation without the background? For example I will write text in photoshop and save as a transparent background but when I try to bring it into Callipeg a white background shows up.

Hello, try to import the png with transparency image from Files and not from Photos. It should help.

Callipeg is AMAZING...just one problem i hope they can fix...files are LAARRGGGEEE. and no effects like glow, blur or so but project files get pretty LARGE quickly. If that can be solved. it will be PERFECT for an Ipad animation app. Weldon guys👌🙌

Thank you! In regard of the peg file size: the exported .peg file is a compressed archive. That’s why it is way lighter. When you are using a shot which is opened in Callipeg (or just in your Studio) it is uncompressed to get the full performances. When you don’t need to work on a shot anymore, export your .peg to store it on a Cloud storage or somewhere on your iPad (outside of the « On my iPad > Callipeg » folder because if you uninstall Callipeg, it will also delete the Callipeg folder of your iPad which contains your shots. All iPad apps are working like this).

Hi, you can already import videos with video layers. You can learn more about it on callipeg.com/learn-video-layer/ If you meant in the reference window it is not planned for now. Do you have examples of how you would use it?

Yes, if you paste it you are able to move it where you want before validating the pasting. So you can paste it within the same frame. Thank you for your support!

You can find tutorials on this channel, and Travis Blaise (Sketchtoanimate) has some very nice tutorials/lessons on his channel. Also, keep in mind that any animation lesson can apply in Callipeg. The animation principles are the same whatever tool you are using.

Hello! This app is really insteresting. I really loved it since i can animate on my ipad. I really want to become animator using Callipeg, then i can proudly reveal this app for professional user ahaha. But there’s something i want to ask.. can you add more tools? Like for example the opacity keyframe (on transformation layer) oh and also, liquify feature maybe? pleaseeeee

Hello! The opacity transformation is coming soon. 🙂 And for the liquify, you can already get a similar effect using the "Color mix" parameter of brushes, but we might add a proper liquify tool in the future. Thank you for your support!

Hey Callipeg, Im thinking of getting this software for making my animations once i finally get an ipad. This app looks amazing! But i just have one issue - the comments on the app store say that the app crashes a lot. Im really worried about losing progress on my animations. Is there anything you or I can do to fix this issue?

Hello Farimada, the best way to keep your work secure is to regularly backup your Callipeg files (.peg) by exporting them outside of the « On my iPad > Callipeg » folder (on a Cloud storage for example). Also, keep in mind that if you uninstall Callipeg, it will also delete the Callipeg folder of your iPad which contains your shots. Most crashes happen when working on a too large or too long shot. A shot is almost always 1 to 10 seconds long in an animation production. I hope this helps, thank you for your support!

I can't seem to find a way to import the xxx.peg file (callipeg format)? I was trying to send my working file from my mini ipad to my ipad pro but there is no way to read the file? Also, when I set a frame to more than 1 frame delay.. after I import as a sequence, that frame remains as one frame.. so the timeline was not probably imported?

Hello, to import a Callipeg .peg file, tap on Import in the Studio, then Files and choose your file. If needed, could you contact us via email to contact@enoben.com with more details about what’s happening? You can also add the “.peg” extension at the end of the name to make the app recognize the file.

hello !bravo pour ce beau travail.Je viens de l'essayer, je suis animateur et illustrateur ( j'ai connu flash sous macromedia :)), je trouve le logiciel super bien pensé, très intuitif, ergonomique, brushes nickel, je l'ai utilisé pour faire du linetest et ca fait super bien le job ! j'ai eu qq remarque : ce serait bien de pouvoir prendre une frame en image de reference, aussi l'onion skin est bien mais ne permet pas de voir tout simplement la couche alpha du dessin précédent,si on travaille en masse , on ne voit que la silouhette generale du dessin précédent et pas les "détails" ou éléments qui aurait être d'une couleur différente.et dernier truc..c'est dommage de pas pouvoir avoir un "player" de "plan" si on se fait plusieurs plans, on ne peut pas les voir à la suite et c'est dommage.Néanmoins, je trouve votre boulot incroyable, c'est un super logiciel pour la communauté anim et la cerise sur le gateau est votre capacité d'export, bien joué !

Bonjour Fred, je suis Benjamin, co-créateur de Callipeg. Je prends note du fait d'ajouter une frame dans la fenêtre de référence. Ce ne sera pas une priorité vu que vous pouvez déjà faire cela via un export puis import en référence, mais ça pourrait être pratique un jour, oui. Pour l'onion skin il est déjà possible de passer en "Images" et non en "Couleurs" dans l'onglet de configuration de l'onion skin dans les paramètres. Vous trouverez comment faire sur cette page : callipeg.com/fr/apprendre-calque-dessin/ Pour la lecture de plusieurs plans les uns à la suite des autres, cela fait partie de nos ambitions pour le futur. Ca ne se fera pas de suite, nous avons d'autres fonctions à ajouter en amont, mais cela arrivera potentiellement. Merci pour votre soutien !

Hello, Callipeg is only compatible with the official Apple Pencil, not with third party styluses.

@@Callipeg you see i have a zagg pro stylus and its basically the same as an apple pencil like i can scribble and it has palm recognition, it lets me colour fill and switch layers on your app but it wont let me draw.

Hello, yes you can export to mp4, mov (HEVC with transparency), psd, png sequence, gif and even to other softwares (Blender, TVPaint, Harmony and AfterEffects).

If you mean deleting all the sheets, you can tap on the layer menu, and on the "select all sheets" icon, before tapping on the trash icon of the sheet menu. If you mean to clear what is in your current sheet (on the canvas): long touch with two fingers to display the floating menu, then tap the clear icon (at the top of the menu).
