Yes there's a big difference I've done my Grandmother and my Mother both of their heads was propped up on a T- bar , and the hair was iced cold so I used my hands to warm it to curl it, but even though it was rough when I first walked in the room I got myself together and did my absolute best and they both looked beautiful just like when they was living. There isn’t a special pillow but from my experience, we just put the hat on and adjust as much as we can so it can sit properly on their head. It also depends on the size of the hat. I’m sure alterations have been made to ensure proper placement for larger hats . 💛
