You’re an absolute PRO!! Who else keeps a livestream in the 15 minute range where we can watch in full?? You da man! Oh yeah and then there’s the mechanical genius and sage wisdom that unfolds right before our unbelieving eyes!!😂
If it starts to act up again I think you may need to make another friction disk. Seeing that the spring is maxed out and squeezed to the max I'd say the disk is about on its last few years. Time will tell. Thanks for sharing!
@@FarmallFanatic I have a question that's off topic from the video. Do you go to the Mercer County Antique Tractor Show in Stonesboro ? I've been seeing a couple advertisements online and just wondering what the turn out is. It would be about 100 miles from me so not too bad. Always looking for other shows instead of the same old boring ones.
@@FarmallFanatic Cool deal. I'll probably make a trip up if I don't have anything else going on. Looks a little small from some of the pictures I've seen but not too bad. I think it's a fairly new show?? Not sure
Excellent video Farmall Fanitic :) also easy fix and that turn out excellent to and was that bad after all just few tighten bolts too fix in few minutes to! Breath of Fresh air helps Lol!
Well that was a easy fix my luck it would have been something crazy expensive . Boy that tractor run really good ! I'm glad you didn't straight pipe it lol . Thanks for sharing !
@@FarmallFanatic I’m actually kind of jealous of your tractor storage/shop As it is impossible to heat up my shop Now I do need a lot bigger of a space than you have probably in the 50’x60’ range
You must have pretty mild temperatures there. You get a lot of snow but it seems to go away quickly. I’d say we don’t get as much snow here but it definitely stays around for most of the winter. It was 43 this past Sunday but back to the low teens and single digit temps now.
Had something similar happen on an International 584. No matter how tight we got that throttle it would still pull itself back towards idle. Finally we placed a rubber washer in between the metal washers & tightened & to this day it's still working.
I made the mistake many years ago of accidentally spraying the friction disk and instantly regretted it. Once lubricant worked it's way onto the face of it no matter how much l tightened the spring it wouldn't stay in position once the engine came under load. Had to take it all apart and use carb and brake cleaner to leach the lube out. Once it was clean it went right back to functioning as it should.
Good video 👍 think that spring has seen better days 🙄 as it looks just about bound up 🤔 and not knowing the tractor just an observation but seems to be a lot of travel in the throttle lever when going from idle till it starts opening up 🤔Red Power 💥
