I took probability and statistics for scientists and engineers. You know who I didn't see in this class.....pre-med students. They were with the business students.
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 14 years ago. My current specialist has told me time and again that there’s no such thing as remission with RA. Been carnivore just over a year and my pain and inflammation are so much better I can’t even think about going back to SAD. My current specialist also doesn’t believe that diet can have any affect whatsoever to my pain and inflammation. But so many other issues have resolved, I can’t see how anyone can believe diet doesn’t affect health.
Has your current specialist attempted to offer an alternative explanation? Have you suggested they watch any of Mikhaila Peterson’s videos? And, if you don’t mind saying, what kind of specialist are they?
@@2old4allthis he's a Rheumatlogist. I’ve tried to tell him about keto and carnivore but he refuses to hear anything about it. So I just don’t tell him anything anymore. I've also told his assistant because she asked how I was loosing weight. She tsk'd me and shook her head. As for an explanation as to why there’s no remission, he gives me that “you wouldn’t understand” look. He’s an older white man. He’s also overweight and has trouble moving himself. But diet couldn’t have anything to do with that 🤦🏻♀️...
@@TinaThevarge Definitely frustrating. I’d still press for his explanation for the obvious reduction/improvement in your symptoms. He’s earning good money because you’re his patient. BTW, my wife is “an older, white” woman MD who partners with a number of “older, white” men MDs, along with several younger and older minority and ethnic MDs. While I’ll agree that older doctors are quite often entrenched in their views, race has absolutely nothing to do with it and did not need to be interjected into your explanation.
@@2old4allthis he thinks it’s the $1500/month meds he’s prescribed, not my lifestyle change making a difference. As for race, I'm a minority, race touches my entire life, no matter how woke other people might be. It’s great that you’re wife is more understanding or whatever, but not everyone is.
Absence of plant toxins, glutens and seed oils plus lower insulin levels are all factors but IDK exactly which is more important, maybe you need all of them together? I do not have RA but my arthritis and mental stste is much much better on carnivore.
At the beginning, she mentions how humans produce ketones even when fed. I believe the reason humans produce ketones so readily is to help fuel our big brains. To be healthy you must be a fat burner producing ketones.
Ok, I'm gonna say it. Amber is helped because her brain is being fed properly with some ketones in the mix. Mikala is helped because meat is the ultimate elimination diet to reduce inflamation.
