@@Djchicago1 His fascination with malignant narcissists makes it very easy to misunderstand him as a jerk. But he is in reality a powerful community builder who likes to build and care for protected job environments.
Even certain German dictators liked dogs and kids, although I can't see He-Man standing around and having a laugh with him on Christmas Day (but I can see him being hailed as the Uber-man)
@@joshuaxiong8377 Oh yes, that happened. And it IS upsetting to say the least. But were those children, as he would see them, 'defective' or 'Hebrews'? I doubt they were children of the so called 'master race'. Hitler's evil was very focused against particular peoples.
@@Baron_Blue_Max are you defending Hitler? Holy sh*t...you're defending Hitler! I've showed your post to my friends. They got a kick out of it! Hahahaa. An actual full-fledged Hitler defender!!! Aahahaaa! Thanks for the laugh today, Hitler boy.
Oh yes you can, since, I've said twice (once as a reply to Niru-Kun's comment), the video is only edited by the uploader (Jackie L), to make it as if Skeletor is showing good. I've watched these scenes in the whole Christmas Special, that can be seen here in whole, and, just because Skeletor does what seems like he's become a good guy, he still shows his signs of hostility. Don't even be fooled by the Evil Warriors joining forces in 'To Save Skeletor', since that episode, too, doesn't show them turning any better. Like I said (in my first personal comment to this video, meaning that it's not a comment in reply to someone else's), Skeletor seems (even though he's funny) one of the worst ever villains in animation. I know, in 'Island of Fear', Man-at-Arms says to him 'Even you couldn't be that cruel!' but it still doesn't change Skeletor in any way.
@@shermanvermin76 know you made this comment 6 years ago, but gotta say you might have lost the point. This episode showed that even those dedicated to evil acts can have a moment of goodness, the same thing happened to evil'lyn in another episode when she worked with Teela. What it revealed is the whole ying and yang concept, how within all good there is a single piece of evil, and within all evil their is a single piece of good, and these episodes showed these characters for once tapping into a small piece of good within them
@@MrOrcshaman I agree with you 100% Skeletor became evil, because of his quest for power, it corrupted him, much like Darth Vader, yet he still had good within him and he displayed this by saving the puppy and ultimately the children. I thought this was a brilliant character arch for him, which shows Skeletor was more of a tragic character that became evil, but still had glimpses of his true humanity within him... I enjoyed this episode.. Good comment.
Jasmine says I will never 👎 look at Skeletor the same way again I don’t know what’s happening to him but he must save the children He’s such a sweetheart
I like to think every Christmas after this he puts on an ugly sweater and joins everyone for a happy fun Christmas Eve and doesn’t try anything until the 26th
Yeah since Santa Claus 🎅🎄🎁 is really Evil 😈👿 him & Skeletor should get along just fine!💀💥 Lol 😂 there is a video on youtube 📼🎥 that tells of the real Santa Claus is evil 🎅🦌... 😱
Skeletor: Yes I won’t never actually care about them as anything more than minions... they’ll get bunk beds though... and a kennel for the puppy and breakfast every morning... what the fuck is happening to me.
I love that there's like... NO depth to skeletor... he's literally evil just because he wants to be evil. It makes this episode just THAT much funnier to me. Lol
Skeletor is pretty deep for an 80s cartoon villian especially when you compare him to Cobra Commander. The guy is evil sure but the way he treats his minions and abuses them while also actively challenging them knowing that they don't have the balls to overthrow him is pretty deep for a kids show.
Yes! Also, that grin he briefly has when Alisha calls him "wonderful" looks so sweet and genuinely happy! That took real talent on the part of the animators!
There's evil and there's killing kids evil. Even Skeletor has lines he won't cross. That and I don't think Hannah Barbara wanted their characters murdering puppies and children on national tv.
From what I can remember of he-man lore, skeletor was originally a normal man, and he-man's uncle! Don't know if they have changed it by now; but this video makes a lot of sense if you believe he may still have human decency and caring deep inside!😃💓
What about everyones favorite! Fisto!!! Him and RAM man hang out a lot... And the Ram man toy couldn't sit down...just go up and down. 80s cartoons were awesome!
Skeletor really shouldn't say "Thank goodness." It's like he told the Comet Keeper in one of his best tirades, "I never do anything for *goodness sake.* Everything I do is for EVIL!"
Just remember that this Skeletor is the same one we'll see in the Netflix continuation of the OG Series. Here again after Part 1 of the Netflix Series....**Sigh**
Plot twist, Skeletor raises the puppy to eventually devour He-man and She-Ra during a banquet that he holds in honor of the now older children's highschool graduation.
FACT, Skeletor does not have the quixotic medallion. FACT, He-Man and She-Ra aren’t berating the children for having an imaginary friend or using their imagination. FACT, I don’t hear Rich Evans angelic laughter. I’m sorry but even though Skeletor may love REM Lazar’s look, they aren’t the same person.
I want to see this side of Skeletor in the new reboot/revival. Have Skeletor murder those who oppose him, but show empathy and remorse to innocent children.
Every time I watch this Christmas special, 1:29- 1:38 makes me laugh, cheer, and go "AAAAWWWWW" all at once! Get him, Skeletor! The only thing I'd have really done differently about this special is have it end in one of two ways: A) He- Man invites Skeletor to the Masters' Christmas celebration. B) Skeletor and his crew have their own Christmas celebration in Snake Mountain.
Skeletors evil acts The first one he’s being evil to the monster by tossing it into the pit The second he’s being evil by making counterfeit coats robing stores of the revenue The third is when he tormented the animal into thinking he was abandoning it The forth was destroying a valuable robot claw because if anyone was going to destroy them it’s him
All I can imagine is that every year, on Christmas Eve, Skeletor gives his minions an evil plan to enact the next day while he packs his bags for an overnight stay. Then, at midnight, he heads over to He-Man and joins their side for the day. He then proceeds to tell He-Man the plan he gave to his minions. However, little do they know, Skeletor told his minions to plan around skeletor telling He-Man his plans. Skeletor also has the foresight to plan around the plan he gave his minions to plan around the plan Skeletor told He-Man in regards to the first plan he told his minions.
