The farming cape has a really useful teleport close to the bank chest in the farming guild and next to a spirit tree that you can use to get to your house. I don't have a crafting / construction cape so it serves as both for me!
Farming is probably my favorite skill, its just so relaxing to drop stuff to go do herb/tree runs every once and a while, helps keep the game fresh i feel. Carpet
Same I just got 99 the other day first time ever.. so good knowing any tree seeds are basically just straight profit and I just periodically pick and sell coconuts for cash.
Carpet: Probably most favorite/useful skill would be construction. Getting a max house so you have all the teleports and other useful things in it is by far one of my first goals ever on the account.
Nice thing about the farming cape besides increased herbs is the unlimited teleports to farming guild gives you fast easy access to a bank and to your poh via spirit tree
Carpet Woodcutting: when I was a kid and I played with a friend we used to have this “lumberjack” vs “miner” thing to see who could make more gp, more often than not he would make way more than me. He stopped playing since eoc but my love for wc remains.

I actually always loved doing Mining when I was playing RS2, sitting in the dwarven mines for hours and hours collecting coal. Nowadays as an adult who can get membership occasionally in OSRS, I really enjoy Agility! It's super nice getting to use all the shortcuts I used to look at longingly as a kid! yeah benefits of 99 agil are : gracefull outfit like -10 weight. greatly increased run restore passive. even if u lose member it still works. and even works great for outrunning pkers :) a lot of shortcuts to places increasing money makers.
Wtf lol as an adult I prefer stats I didn’t go deep into as a kid like magic & stuff but… agility?!?! Dude that’s hell. Nobody except weirdos enjoy it hahaha
As a new player, I also like a lot to train agility. Because it's for me the easiest skill to afk train and it was much funnier to discover the world and other activities speed running all the way. Just arrived to a 1k total.
Carpet! I actually love runecrafting! I remember as a young dumb kid, I would run air runes on a f2p account for hours to slowly make enough money to get a bond! Runecrafting really helped me love Runescape, because I'm not sure if I would still play the game on and off if I never had membership before!
I found WC was useful early game for one reason: canoes. If you haven't leveled mage high enough to use lumbridge, varrock, and falador teleports, you can get your wc up to 14 and make a canoe to take yourself up and down the river Lum. Making stops at lumby, the champs guild, barb village, and edgeville. And if you get it high enough to make the wakkas canoe, you can even go into deep wildy and the ferox enclave. Hell even late game, if you wanna save a couple law runes, grab your axe, whack out a canoe, and go for a ride. Best of all, this feature is even able to be used in non members.
“Carpet!” My favorite skill in f2p was cooking also my first 99! But in mems I really enjoy crafting because there’s plenty of options and lots are profitable or at least breakeven
Farming is my favorite skill not only because of the profits to be made but also the farming contract system keeps things fresh. The cape and guild are super convenient because of the spirit tree. If you have a tree in your house the cape is essentially a more accessible construction cape. Carpet
carpet!! honestly my favorite skill has got to be farming. i remember HATING it when i was younger but it was my second 99 ever. i love how chill the farming guild is. its so comfy and that's a big part of it being my favorite skill. i hope other skills get guilds similar to the farming guild 1 day
I would say Construction is my favourite as it allows for POH and all the amenities like tele's, portals, roaming pets and rooms to customize how you like. Personally I prefer rooms with carpet than tile.
Carpet Farming, farming cape is cool and the guild is super chill. Having a boss in the basement is pretty dope. Also the spirit tree teles are amazing.
I would have to say magic is my favourite skill. It has such a wide array of extremely helpful spells, and for Ironmen I'm sure high alch is highly appreciated. Aand carpet
Carpet, it’s got to be farming. I just got 99 this week for the first time ever! So happy to see some total profit from tree seeds, Yanillian hops and coconuts! No pet though, but can’t get em all.. unless you’re a streamer 😉
Carpet. Farming has always been my favorite skill. My main goal since I started playing OSRS was to have the most efficient farm run possible. Almost getting the elite mort diary for that final herb patch
Carpet I love slayer the most because it's useful for any kind of account, you get good drops, you level all your combat skills with it and it's a very varied skill overall.
Carpet Thieving is my favorite skill because it can be a great money maker without needing capital to invest up front and doesn't need much capital to train efficiently. Also it feels badass to be a master thief!!
Carpet Farming has been so useful for me, mainly since herb runs have been the easiest thing to fit into my busy life so I can still make money over and above maintaining a bond.

Carpet Farming because when I first played Runescape years around 2005 or so. I hated it and saw no purpose for it but as Runescape 3 became a thing and I had to start over for osrs farming easily became one of my favorites and most helpful money makers early on. Also some how became my highest skill without me paying attention at the time

For some reason my favorite skill is fishing, everything I plan on doing revolves around getting the song of the elves quest done asap. I just want to sit on a carpet and wield my crystal harpoon.
Carpet Agility is my favorite skill, I work long hours and I use rooftop courses to help me unwind for the day. I'm working on obtaining my 3rd graceful set. I want all of them.

Farming is undoubtedly the most important skill for free maintenance of bonds. Just doing a few farm runs a day and gathering that passive gold so you don't have to pay for carpet rides.
Carpet range is by far the most fun and the most useful skill. With msb and void you are almost set for all the pvm and upgrades are far cheaper and more diverse than meele. Thanks for the vids
Magic is definitely my favorite skill. Mostly cause alching is easy to do and lunar spellbooks makes my training for certain skills fly fast like that magic carpet in the desert
Carpet- SLAYER is perhaps my favorite skill because of the variety of monsters to fight and locations to visit, GP and resources gathered, pet chance, dope 99 skill Cape, can be done with friends and it "passively" trains your combat stats!
carpet My most favourite skill is Slayer. Its always a grind in the beginning but once you get to the mid/end game it becomes so useful when bossing. The drops and money are an added bonus :)
Carpet. My favorite and in my opinion one of if not the most useful skill is magic, if its pvm or making some cheeky money with H.a. or tan leather or from teleports to tele blocks, it's wide range of uses keeps it fun
Carpet. Back when my brother and i would play together, he would cook up everything that i caught. Because of that, Fishing still holds a special place in my skilling priorities and is my favorite (not to mention it's pretty easy/afk-able).
Carpet I’ve been doing a pretty good job on my iron. Except for herblore, crafting and slayer… Just realized it when I hit 250 tithe farm points and couldn’t buy the herb sack. I do not have nearly enough herbs to get 58. Time to aggressively do diaries, I guess?
Carpet, my favorite skill is any skill I can afk to then use in raids. Probably is range though. Range feels the least clunky of the combat skills imo.
Carpet I'd say woodcutting should be higher up as it serves as a gateway to Fletching, Firemaking (level for Wintertodt), and Construction in a sense. Not to mention it's the best looking gathering skillcape IMO.
I've been having ALLOT of fun with Ironman, only started 2 months ago. So far my favorite skills on this journey have been construction and runecrafting. I've finally got around to setting up a chapel in my POH and it's been amazin' usin' all those saved up bones on it. My only complaint I have with my chapel is I still don't have a carpet... 😅
carpet and i believe the most handy one is agility. if i could instantly do one to 99 it would be that. the time to restore run energy is greatly increased. u unlock so many shortcuts. and with that u can also get the gracefull outfit one of the best outfits for doing other skilling related tasks.
Carpet, construction is the end all be all skill that helps pvmers, pvp/pkers, skillers, clue scroll enthusiasts, uim/et al with storage, quick and easy navigation, and efficient gameplay more than any other skill. On a game that thousands of hours can be sunk into, speeding things up should be the number one priority.
carpet Slayer is my favorite skill now. Even though I have played RS on and off since 2008, I had never trained slayer until this year because I was a f2p player for a majority of those years. Every slayer task has me preparing different characters loadout and I have gone to so many different locations that I would have otherwise never gone to. I love how slayer is just the typical MMO quest of "Kill X enemies" but as an actual skill with progression and without the unnecessary story to it. It lets the RS quests feel meaningful instead of simply assigning you to kill a given amount of enemies like other MMOs do a lot.
I like to vary a lot in training skills but fishing is my favourite. Mainly because I have good memories of fishing and chatting away with my friends and random people back in 2005. I'd like it to be my first 99. Carpet!
Carpet, gotta say that Smithing is my favorite. Feels like one of the only truly old-school aspects of the game still remaining. 99 smithing for a 40 tier platebody? Lol.
Carpet. Magic easily. It’s so diverse and easy to level at any level. Having good magic makes the game so much easier with teles, melee, money making, etc.
im a carpet muncher that likes hunter. for me that skill is so nostalgic as I was a kid when the skill released and I was able to train it on day one. I have so many memories of people tracking kebbits at the polar area and it was my first 99 in RS3. I primarily play my ironman on osrs and usually will dedicate a day a week to just hunting chins.
Carpet. My number 1 skill for ironman is slayer. If you get 99, you’ll be completely set to do almost all other PVM content. You also get a decent amount of valuable resources like GP. Arguably a great skill for mains too.
Hate to say it, but mining and smithing is so much better in RS3. OSRS absolutely needs some kind of mining and smithing rework. They're a relic of RSC when rune was bis. They don't have to go the masterwork route like 3, but beyond requirements and just maxing, they're pointless skills.

Favorite skill is Runecrafting, yes yes I know it is meme'd, but I actually enjoy doing it through Ourania Altar and with the addition of Guardians of the Rift it adds a decently chill method pre-bloods. I haven't hit 77 RC yet but I'm close and can't wait to have that super chill method unlocked. It is certainly not as bad as the active clicking methods in other skills forcing me to click a million times a minute just to be efficient. It can't fix my carpet though which is certainly a downside.
I'm surprised Ultimate Ironman didn't have its own category here. I do enjoy riding magic carpets with them. I do suspect it'll have mostly the same tier list as a normal ironman. Runecrafting was my favorite skill back in 2005. It'll remains my favorite skill to this day but it's just not that feasible for an Ultimate Ironman to train early game
You know I'm laying down on my carpet thinking about what skill I like and i cannot think about anything else than Slayer, I find it really fun and engaging, I'm very grateful for that skill because it lets me fight things that otherwise I wouldn't even try, and unlocks really cool and profitable bosses! After gotr I have began to love runecrafting too, so I would totally put it in second place! Best wishes!

My favorite skill is firemaking, mainly because it's so damn fast to train. It's the only skillcape I have on both of my accounts. It's a good thing I can't burn the carpet in my poh with all that fire going around.
