When you talked about the placebo effect….Ive never seen a study combining the placebo effect with a known improvement, as opposed to just the control.
Facts the whole mainstream S&C need to know what strength really means for them it’s lifting heavy and bench pressing etc it’s bullshit strength doesn’t only mean how much lifts you can lift
Another great ep. Would be neat to get Erik enkiri Elite fitness on, he's training for well rounded strength, jumping, sprinting, carrying and so on, and I think he's over the idea of lifting the most amount possible now so it might make for a good bigger picture discussion. As much as I don't care about measuring like dr will, I do like the idea of tracking my cardio abilities via distance and maybe heart rate if that actually makes any sense to do. I would love an ep on the different zones of cardio. But at the end of the day I think I'm, too, over training and just want to move regularly for the fun of it with the goal of longevity rather than bEiNg tHe BeST I CaN bE, but at the same time I want to be super fucking capable, I just don't want to get suckled into stupid paths to stupid ideals. What's the ideal athlete? What attributes would be sick to have? Is there anyone out there who is close to perfect? Tyson's punching, someone's sprint, fashion jogger jog, khadoori drops, Clarence0s lifting and tricking ability, some javelin thrower ability, some kickers ability, jumping, golf/shot-put swing...
