Pete Lawrence and Paul Abel reveal what's visible in the night sky this month, including Mercury and Venus, a (somewhat) brightening Jupiter, the Perseid meteor shower, minor planet Vesta, and Comet C/2020 V2 (ZTF).
Not much luck with Noctilucent Clouds in June despite my rather northern latitude (Co Durham, England).I have seen a silver band of them far to the north but unlike last year nothing overhead. When they are low around the rim of the sky they look very similar to the Nacreous Clouds I saw for the first time in January.
