Yep, that's why Depp has gone to the trouble to pursue this law suit after losing to the Sun. Addict is just another name for narcissist or antisocial personality disorder. That's why they wouldn't allow Depp to be evaluated. They don't want that info getting out about him (to the public, as the Industry already knows).

And what about that woman who disappeared last yr who went across country with her bf in the campervan..he came back without her...when the cops were called .cops were going to arrest HER for domestic abuse...so until I hear Amber's side of this..I'm NOT going to pre-judge!!!

I was diagnosed BPD but i honestly don't see it in her. she comes off more Narc to me however I know these symptoms can cross over.

Hi - I also had concluded what she was about - I so wish people wouldn't toss some words around like Narcissist or psychopath (Don't mean you!). People can have personality traits on the Axis or meet full criteria. I too have worked in this field, and it my main interest in study. The main challenge is to NOT banish people because of it when they have no ability to even recognise it is THEM that creates the mess for others and for themselves. Good luck with your studies - she is a good case study.

It takes a professional psychologist (with ~7 years of education) the same amount of time as you've spent studying to date, to arrive at a reliable and confident diagnosis.

Where physical diagnoses can be made by x-rays, CT or MRI, blood tests etc, the area of psychology and psychiatry is not an exact science, but the measures used by neuropsychologists if scored correctly from the raw data are pretty well regarded and thorough. The MMPI is extremely comprehensive and the testing of other measures can serve to correlate. Psychology and neuropsychologist are two different fields under the mental health 'umbrella'.

She’ll be lucky if she isn’t faced with perjury charges also. She could have been cited for calling the police to a fake crime. They found no evidence of abuse nor a torn apart house. Those officers could have been on a real emergency instead of taking up their valuable time with her twisted self.

Yes it is and I came across a young man a few years ago that was a victim. I tried to get him to seek help as big tears flowed down his face but he was too scared of his gf and wasn’t even from here. I’ve thought a lot about him a lot wondering how he’s doing. My heart hurt for him. My husband was a victim of mental and emotional abuse by his parents that he was never able to overcome. In those days men didn’t speak out. He started drinking at an early age and died from liver disease at the age of 35. I hope Johnny quits the lifestyle he’s become accustomed to or he to will end up dying a cruel death. He should also lose some of those friends he hangs with. They’re no good for him. David Cassidy also developed cirrhosis from drinking. A FB friend knew him well as well as the rest of the Partridge family. She was angry at him because he tried to pass his problem off as dementia. His last words were so true. “So much wasted time”.
