Mig27 has a 30mm rotary cannon which was used on warships as CWIS and is a ground attack jet, Mig23 has a regular old gsh23 and is not a ground attack jet, they are not the same
@@SuperduperCoolChannel Alright, here’s your list. 1. Su-33: The Su-33, also known as the Flanker-D, is a carrier-based air superiority fighter derived from the Su-27. It features several modifications to adapt it for naval operations. The Su-33 is equipped with the Lyulka AL-31F afterburning turbofan engines, providing a maximum thrust of around 27,500 pounds each. Its design incorporates canards for improved maneuverability and aerodynamic performance, allowing for high angles of attack. In terms of capabilities, the Su-33 excels in air-to-air combat. It possesses a robust radar system, the N001 Myech, providing long-range detection and tracking capabilities. Additionally, it has a wide range of air-to-air missiles at its disposal, including the R-27 and R-73 variants. With its powerful engines, the Su-33 can operate from aircraft carriers and perform complex air-to-air maneuvers. 2. Su-30: The Su-30 is a multirole fighter aircraft designed for both air superiority and ground attack missions. It is a twin-seater variant of the Su-27, incorporating advanced avionics and increased fuel capacity. The Su-30 employs two Saturn AL-31FP afterburning turbofan engines, delivering a maximum thrust of approximately 27,500 pounds each, similar to the Su-33. What sets the Su-30 apart is its versatility. It possesses a formidable radar system, the N011M Bars, capable of tracking multiple targets simultaneously and engaging both air and ground threats. The Su-30's armament includes a wide range of air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, such as the R-77, R-27, and Kh-31 variants, allowing it to engage various targets with precision. The Su-30 is renowned for its capability to perform beyond-visual-range engagements, conduct air interdiction missions, and provide close air support. 3. Su-37: The Su-37, sometimes referred to as the Terminator, is an experimental aircraft derived from the Su-27. It serves as a technology demonstrator, showcasing advanced flight control systems and thrust vectoring capabilities. The Su-37 employs two Saturn AL-31FU afterburning turbofan engines, similar to those used in the Su-30 and Su-33, but incorporates additional modifications for enhanced maneuverability. The primary distinction of the Su-37 lies in its thrust vectoring nozzles, which enable the aircraft to control the direction of its engine exhaust, providing exceptional maneuverability and agility. This feature allows the Su-37 to perform post-stall maneuvers, such as the famous "Cobra" maneuver, where the aircraft momentarily pitches up to an extreme angle of attack while maintaining controlled flight. The Su-37 also features an upgraded avionics suite, including an advanced radar system, the N011M Bars, and a wide range of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons.
My favorite soviet plane list: MiG-3(luckly avilable) I-16(only in thumbnail) MiG-21(luckly here too) Su-22(MiG-21 but swept wing) Il-2(most produced military plane)
Isn't mig 27 a ground attack version compared with the 23? Not only thr cannon but it has other features that differenciate it from the 23. It's almost like mock the F-35 A from the B version just because lacks the VSTOL feature.
i think the MiG-19 is best o9ne bcs it can do high-g turning like F-4, its maneuverable like mig-17 it was first soviet jet capable carrying homing missles
Yep, each video in this series has the same exact audio track. Notice each video is 49-51 seconds? Line them up, listen to them. Every statement is a generalization, so it can be recycled. This is just a 50 second slideshow with a recycled audio track.
Are we blind? The Su-30 and the Su30/37 don’t even look the same. 30 has since broken away from the 27 family. But thanks for the il40 introduction. I did not know that was a thing. I am off to the internet. Be back in about an hour or so
@@SuperduperCoolChannel The MiG-15 and MiG-17 are both Soviet jet fighter aircraft, but they are not the same aircraft. Here are some key differences between them: 1. Design and Development: The MiG-15, developed in the early 1950s, was a revolutionary jet fighter with swept wings and a straight tail. It played a significant role in the Korean War. The MiG-17, developed in the late 1950s, incorporated design improvements such as a more advanced wing configuration and afterburner capability. 2. Wing Design: The MiG-15 had wings with a 35-degree sweep, while the MiG-17 featured wings with a more pronounced 45-degree sweep. The increased sweep allowed for better high-speed performance and improved maneuverability. 3. Engine: The MiG-15 used the Klimov VK-1 turbojet engine, while the MiG-17 utilized the more powerful afterburning VK-1F engine. The afterburner gave the MiG-17 a boost in speed and thrust during combat situations. 4. Performance: The MiG-17 generally had superior performance compared to the MiG-15. Its increased wing sweep and more powerful engine provided better high-speed capabilities and improved agility. 5. Armament: Both aircraft were armed with a combination of cannons and rockets, but the MiG-17 had the capacity to carry a larger payload of weapons, including air-to-air missiles.
why is the mig-17 the super overrated one? also, what about the mig-9, yak-15, su-9 and 11, and other early jets, and what about the Lavochkin aircraft?
@@SuperduperCoolChannel The B-29 is the most important plane of WW2. I even made a list and a Google earth project showing the location of EVERY B-29 left in existence. If you want I can link you to it.
