When a Roblox Horror Game is Too Hard.. 

Hello, we're sorry you didn't like the game. For context, me and my friend, who made the game, (we're both high school sophomores) like making games in our free time, because we find it fun and we don't do it with the goal of becoming popular or anything. Obviously, this means we didn't finish everything. A lot of these issues were meant to be fixed, but since we're so caught up with our own personal scholarly goals, we haven't had the time or motivation necessary to finish it. At the top of our update list is a difficulty level selector and a more interactive tutorial than the guide, which is meant to be like a wiki page containing as much information as possible. Most of our games are just goofy little projects we put together without thinking too much about it, and this one so happened to have become quite popular for our standards, peaking at around 150 players per day. We don't deny any of your feedback, but we're just explaining why the game is in it's current state. But yeah, it sucks to see our game, which was mainly a summer project in 2023, turn out like this to some people. However, every input provided is a valuable piece of information for us and helps to shape our thinking while making moves for the future. We started learning how to develop 2 years ago, and made our first ever game "Five Nights at Stinky's" which is nowhere near the scale of Cliffside Station, and helps show us how our skills have changed over time and let us reflect and find new ways to improve.

I hate when I’m at the cliff station and then my weird strict dad massacres the residence in the butchery who was actually a mimic then I got woken from the deep and trespassed into the roses.

I think IR in IRGhost stands for "Infrared", because infrared light isn't visible to human eyes, but is visible for cameras. Which perfectly explains this entity's mechanic

I was so scared that I wasn't going to see any Leon Kennedy in this video...and then I saw the ending segment....it's beautiful.

Just imagine how much fun this game and residence massacre could be if they weren't that hard.They have cool mechanics im sure they had the chance to become popular just like doors but they failed because they are way too hard.

I was surprised to see this video since me and friends never struggled in this game, yeah the mechanics are hard the first time you do the night but if you play with friends it’s fantastic and i highly recommend. (Especially because 99% of the roblox horror games are unfun mimic clones, “experience” games and weird strict dad clones) I honestly really liked this game and i hope more games try to be creative like this.

About the little rant about finding a job, yeah the market is brutal, there are countless amounts of people who said thay've applied to like 200-1000 jobs and gotten interviews in the single digits.

Yo breadian check out this hard stealth action based horror game called traversal. It recently just blew up and it’s inspired by a 2003 game called manhunt

Well, imma correct about a few things in this video, the ghost when it alarms, means you already messed up, if your anxiety reaches 100%, you can still survive by finding an exit in a maze which is pretty easy, power outages happen only if storm intensity is 5/6, basically happens on night 4 maybe 5 and 7, you can do computer and also restock if you're fast, depends on how many people are in the game. I definitely forgot to correct other stuff but I am lazy.

I love the vibes of the game, being stranded in the middle of nowhere in some rando gas station, having to just work in the dark because you're not allowed to have the lights on for some reason, with the only illumination coming from the indoor neon signs, the computer screens, and mostly from the street lamps shining through the windows.

I have the feeling I’m going to end up tearing my hair out trying to cooperate with 13 year olds playing this game

A phantom tax, if you will

The thing about Fnaf is you can take management as long as it's reasonable and not overbearing such as power, meters, windups, flashlights and all that stuff. However being forced to literally uphold an entire store which even in Zach's Service Station I still can't do along with the fact you have monsters every where is just not it. Horror games are supposed to scare and make you feel uneasy, not stressed and confused all at once. Good concept but stinky execution

I spent a couple hours with friends to beat the horror game "Recovery" on roblox years ago. We never beat it. It's currently a dead game but that's probably the only Roblox game I've never beaten because of difficulty.

I guess the real Cliffside Station Was the friends we made along the way...

my biggest problem with this game is whenever you do any interaction the screen flashes with a black screen which made me pretty nauseous after having to see over and over and over again

Yeah solo this game is hell, but bring 3 of your homeboys and it becomes one of the most fun and chaotic experiences on modern roblox

Honestly the game wasnt that hard the worst thing was finding where the generator is (that took... a while...)we are at night 5 maybe ill get proven wrong and the difficulty spike is insane ill notify you guys a week later when i get the chance to replay the game Edit: to answer me and a friend are playing this so 2 people the difference in difficulty from 1 to 2 players i imagine is huge 2 to 3 isnt as big but noticeable,that is because while i may not be on the computer 24/7 and i do restock myself, i can not imagine restocking while alone
