Where I live they recommend replacing your dentures every 5 years.This is the average but I've seen denture less than 5 years needing replacement and I've seen some 10 years that were just fine.The major factor is the condition of the teeth.If they are worn down and your vertical is over closed they have to be replaced,If the teeth are fine and the acrylic is still in good condition but they are loose fitting most likely a reline is all you need.
I had my top once for 3 years and i thing i need new ones dont put nothing them to keep them in place and i have some at the bottom can not wear them they never fit me i could not go back because it was Corona then .
