So sad I spent almost a decade of my life with a man like this I NEVER understood why we could never align…plans we had together he would try to accomplish with the women he cheated with it was SO WEIRD to me…every conversation had slick comments in it but I literally thought he was just funny well at least I have my thirties I would definitely be in a better place in life if it wasn’t for this marriage because he denied every single opportunity for us to be great together better off single
He didn't want to take me anywhere because people like me. They would always say "Oh your wife, we love her!" All the time. He could not clap for my accomplishments because he was jealous. I ran circles around him. I started dressing better when I was promoted at work..twice...he always had some back handed comment. He told me I was a terrible public speaker after getting an award for leading a group of people and accepting an award for it. He could not take that I am very direct and factual, always trying to gaslight me. The end for me was he was paranoid about me having appointments- normal, everyday appointments like the OBGYN, getting my teeth cleaned, etc. Yeah. No.

This is m ex. I told him I was going to trucking school, he asked could he go. I said I already been approved. He said something slick like I’m not going to be able to do it. Fast forward I went and I’m driving trucks and thriving. My ex does everything to shit on my career. He downs truck drivers. He says my job is easy anyone can do it. He said he don’t even need training and he bet he can drive a truck. This was the whole vibe in the relationship. Had my self esteem low. So glad I’m done with that pitiful person.
Mine asked me to do his homework but had the audacity to say my 4.0 must mean my classes are easy... So he pays all the bills I've been using my money for school and I'm almost done. He will be looking for me in the day time with a flashlight 😂❤

If a man is jealous of a woman I think the reason for him being jealous is mostly because he wants to be a woman himself. There are lots of hidden trans'es out there. And he'd probably also be jealous of women cause he'd also love getting the same attention from men as she would get.
The idea of sleeping next to my own opp is terrifying. And I can't even chalk it up to paranoia because of all the stories I've seen and heard from women: being belittled, undercut, sidelined and outright sabotaged by a man that's supposed to love and support you. My own best friend just had the veil pulled off of her face, and she's coming to terms with how much her ex-fiancé chipped away at her confidence over the years. Too close to home for me to drop my guard. To anyone reading this: you have plans, they're important and "keeping a man" is not enough of a valid priority to compromise your dreams. I dated a guy like that. He broke up with me so he could see his side hick. He had the nerve to be jealous of me having more options. When he tried to get back with me, he thought his games break up come back game would work but it didn't lol.
My ex would ignore me to and from going to places simply because I got stared at and got more attention than him. It would make me cry and feel very small. He also would be very mean to me and at one time wished his mother a happy birthday while was sitting next to me and didn't say anything to me( my daughter was 2) Never again will I be with a man who I am a better man than he will ever be. These are failures of men that can only add hurt and burden to your life and nothing else. No amount of love can cleanse a jealous and spiteful person.

Currently divorcing a jealous narcissistic man, who felt like he was the prize and didn't have any concept of how to be a man in a hetero relationship, and what role that implies. He was more like a petty hormonal roommate. I feel like he secretly wants to be a woman and doesn't even know it.
My ex hated my creative expression (guitar & drawing) because his parents had told him to suppress his own creativity, so he resented that I was actively doing it and being good at it. :)

But no, he had to take it as a competition and that I tried to outshine him, telling me I’m too ”proud” just for being myself and doing what I do. This is a man’s world and some of these men are upset things aren’t handed to him, so he projects that things are handed to her (which is not true, he is jealous). He needs to level up get educated get therapy and get help. This is a man’s struggle. Women can’t help them on this one and we can’t love them out of this either. Let them be. This has been going on forever. A good example of it is Prince Charles and Princess Diana. He was going to be King and he still didn't like that Diana got more attention than him. Simone Biles is another example.

This is my ex for sure anything I bought for instance I bought a new truck SUV a bronco he said yeah I need a bigger truck than that. I need an Escalade . OK I bought a TV because I’m not a TV watcher and he was like I need a bigger TV I need a 70 inch TV, regardless of anything I bought I’m proud of you and stuff, but I just need something bigger. I struggled to finish college because I had children and I put all my children through college and now they’re putting me back through college. Well I’ve finished now and he was like my friend said congratulations but what is your little degree in and which degree is it I knew that day I was done with him. I knew that day that was my revelation day That he was jealous and very dismissive about my accomplishments.
Okay my ex did all 3 things. You dont need to dress up. He was only comfortable around his men in the family. Slide comments all the time. That man was damn near suicidal when i left.

So true and it all came out close to my graduation date and him driving me to pick up my cap and gown for my graduation ceremony from U of M Ann Arbor with my Bachelor’s in Nursing. On the drive there he stated “I can be a better nurse than you.” and here he is has not taken not one prerequisite nursing course, he started a big argument with me. Then later he obtained his associates degree in Nursing. We are now currently divorced and was married for 15 years with 2 children due to him being a Covert Narcissist that I uncovered in the last 6 years of our marriage.

Don't want other men looking at you, gets in his feelings cuz women aren't looking at him, always trying out dress you, mad cuz you work for yourself and he's gotta clock in, doesn't want you around other men cuz he's afraid someone will treat you better, hates that you have your child 24/7 and he can't see his like he wants to, mad cuz ppl like you, show you more attention in public, mad cuz you're an artist, can cook good and you're a genuinely nice person, not fake.. After 15 years of marriage My ex told Me that he never love Me, never was faithful to Me & My problems is I think Im a Boss, Yet didn't want to sign the divorce papers! Be careful ladies there is a difference between jealousy and envy. Jealousy isn’t that big of a deal. We all feel it all the time. I can be jealous of my friend, but I still want my friend to have good things even if they’re better than my things. Envy is when you’re jealous and you don’t want them to have anything nice you’re jealous to the point that nobody should get anything either and that’s not OK. That is dangerous. I think a little bit of jealousy can inspire people to try harder I think envy is hurtful…. Definitely keep your eye out for that. A guy who is a tiny bit jealous, and uses that to rise above is OK because we all feel that a guy who is envious and uses that to tear you down as a whole other story.
I think it's the other way around...envy is what you described as jealousy and sth else no man will be inspired by your success 99.99% of them will do everything to tear you down and bring you down to their level
Took a bf at the time shopping with me to get a car. I told him I wanted his input and help me get a good deal. Every car he was like nah I don’t like it. I was also with my mom. We looked at each other and she was like do u like this one and I said yes and she was like get it. My mom is boss 💪🏾. The look on his face 😂. Meanwhile we suppose to grow together. If I get a car that mean we got a car. Glad he is now an ex! FYI he crashed my old car and used it to cheat on me while I was at work. Don’t date broke! Don’t try to build a man! Be mean to them!
