I needed this message today. It actually feels as if it is an answer to a prayer. Swimming in a sea of sorrow is no life.

Understanding that transforming THROUGH pain and FEELING instead of fighting it actually catapults my growth every time has totally freed me! Pain is a part of life, suffering is a choice. I truly believe that.

By making your mental health and personal growth a priority, you will heal much faster. I understand that this can be hard to do, especially if you have little ones to look after. However, if you do have little ones to look after, it’s even more crucial that you take care of yourself first. This is so you are fully able to take care of others. 💙RU-vidr That Helps People Overcome Toxic Relationships

Hearing you talk of self love and the juxtaposition it plays out in society is definitely deep seated.

As a reminder, no reason to get sad purposefully or seek situations that perpetuate it (some people get addicted to sadness and never get past it or use it for a catalyst). I've noticed this in some folks, the need for it, the need to stay in states of suffering because it's thought to be enlightening, but we're not meant to stay in it. Just sharing that thought.

Sometimes people stay in sadness because they do not believe they are allowed to be happy. It could be from their upbringing so, unfortunately, it feels safe and like home. It could also be, maybe some trauma happened and they don’t believe they are allowed to be happy … especially as long as they see the one who experienced the trauma still suffering. I think both are a blend of me, I’m sure I’m probably addicted to a degree to certain brain chemicals… my son was gang R-word … and while I see him struggle I can’t forgive myself for letting him go to that slumber party. So, I struggle tremendously with forgiving myself. And allowing myself to be okay … without feeling selfish etc.

Learning to be in that perfect moment while it lasts , do not try to dissect it or end up longing for it again. Not easy.

Thank you to be there both of you. I'm feeling so alone at this time. I'm awake with the light 3 years ago. I understand everythink what you say. I used to live in the US. It was my dream. But now come back to the reality. Thank you to be there to help people. Rgds from Belgium (I'm writing a book to help people to open his mind)

'Bittersweet' sounds amazing. About being alone, for the last year & a half, I mostly go out by myself. Being in observance mode, I've learned alot about people, and myself. Picking up the shards, thank you!! ⚡✨⚡✨⚡

I do have in my life your " strategic messing" time... but I sit with a whiteboard sheet and a marker and write it down...then summarize at the end the hints I deduce from that....then I write in my monthly calendar ..how could I convert it practically.very very useful podcast. I was listening to this while painting...but many times I had to stop and note down
