It’s so hard to focus on what you’re saying with that background music, which is a shame because it seems like you know what you’re talking about and I was very intrigued. Just a friendly reminder for future videos, it’d be nice to have intro music, but no music while you’re talking, it detracts from your value a lot! Great otherwise!

New subscriber here, great advice and product reviews. I am currently 5 weeks into growing my yeard. I am currently using Northwoods Beard Co. Beard wash along with their beard balm and oil. My favorite scent is the one called "old school" it is light and super refreshing. I personally would like for Tools of Men to do a product review. Great videos sir, very informative.

Glad to see you back on RU-vid! I use beard oil AND balm every single day and every time i apply my oil into my beard the remaining oil on my hands will be applied to my face as a ‘day cream’ if you will. I then apply my beard balm on the surface of my beard to nourish, hold and protect and once again the remaining balm left on my hands is often applied on my arms and lips. I will be going with a more stubble look while keeping my moustache in spring and nothing in my routine will change, because all natural quality products are simply unbeatable and the results are stunning! Continue with the great content i love reading your articles and watching your videos!

Happy to be back! Yeah natural products I find tend to work really well when it comes to beard care. Curious - do you make the beard oil or balm yourself (or have any interest in learning if not)? Was thinking about making a DIY beard balm video next week if there is some interest by the guys who follow this channel.

I use beard oil within a few days of shaving. it's all natural and keeps my skin healthy. Any residual oil I will rub into my head hair, again keeping my scalp moisturiser and flake free

So we want to choose between beard balm or oil? Since they are essentially the same thing. I have been told to use both by others.

I have stubble. it grows fairly quick. then i trim it back to stubble. As soon as a i trim it the first day/2 after not trimming for a week it looks really good. comes out with lighter hairs and healthy and attractive looking. Then after a couple days it loses that and goes to a normal looking and a bit darker stubble, but i want it to look like how when i first shave it all the time! Is there a product I can use??! Because it will grow quick which i cannot stop, but trimming it back to the good looking length often means I lose that lightness and attractive look of it, so i end up not trimming it for at least a week. (BASICALLY the longer i leave it untrimmed the better it looks as soon as after i trim it-what can i do to make it look like that all the time) HEEEELPPP AAAAAA

I've started my journey into growing an Epic Beard this past January 2018. In the past few weeks I have purchased two Bossman Jelly Oils Scents and one Balm Scent, plus I have a can of Honest Amish Balm on order. I also have one Beaver Scooter Sandalwood sawcut Comb plus one Kent mustache comb. I have two other Kent Combs on order. I also have two Boar Bristle brushes plus a pair of high grade 5" trimming Scissors that I've had for at least two.

My beard can only grow to about an 1/8 of an inch after a month. My wife complains about it being like poky sandpaper. Is there any solution to my problem or should I just give up and shave it off?

if you over use it yes, if you use it correctly for your beard it will be a bit oily but it does dry, i use brisk citrus 3-4 times a day and my wife loves the results

Beard balm is bad if you have a patchy beard, it clumps the hairs together and makes it look more patchy.... use only a small amount of oil or balm if you're a patchy beardstr..

I see your points - completely valid. However, I don't understand why people aren't as critical when visiting a barbershop and getting advice from a barber with no hair, no beard or perhaps a woman? Do we only listen to those that we hope to look like?

Having no beard but giving beard advice really isn't an argument. My hairdresser is bold and I wouldn't have anyone else cut my hair. Too advice on the beard products buddy really enjoyed the video just not the backglrund music 😂

Wow I had to stop watching because of the hugely and unnecessarily distracting background music. If you MUST have music go with a quiet and relaxing piano jazz like Cafe Music BGM Channel or something that isn’t so distracting on the ear. I feel you had some good advice but I wasnt able to get thru the vid
