@@LaJin9292 it's just a desperate cash grab game now. The no neck Tekken creator tries to export it to every console and device so it can make money. And then we get all these weird dlc characters and characters like lucky Chloe
@@blaximum Probably two different Mocap work to be done, As a player I'm usually dead focus in the center of the screen than what the character facial expression is, but out of it I can see what you mean.
@@blackjam2683 It's definitely different. I'm just tired of Bamco's dollface problem. 😂. Men's faces are always more expressive. The video is showing her personality, so I'm just pointing out that her face doesn't match it.
The facial expressions of the female Tekken characters are minimal, unlike the men where they do have many facial animations, the game is Japanese and they love the well-stylized doll faces of the female characters, it's that simple.
im not peruvian but when i first listened to that pan flute it made me smile so much, im really happy to see andean culture represented in mainstream videogames
Not all andean culture is the same. Los Andes run through several countries and that flute is related to peruvian, chilean, colombian and ecuatorian culture (at some degree in each country) and somehow, inexistent in the Venezuelan culture.
Namco Sound Team always made bangers with every taken, but Azucena's stage theme might be their best yet. Not sure how someone is high-energy like her blend in with a stage that is visually tranquil and music that makes you want to dance.
helps that music from locations like the stage, the Andes, have upbeat songs with similar instruments so that folklore bit is probably something the sound team was inspired on
I'm so glad to see latinoamerican representation that isn't just Brazil or Mexico for once and it being done with so much love put into it. Gotta love Tekken man.
@@DutchVanDerLindo oh I'm not hating on them, I love the representation of those countries as well, just saying that it's really nice to have something else for a change.
@@TheWeekendWarrior490 it was obviously a stereotype because when filipinas win they usually cry in joy. But regardless Josie was a strong character lmao.
Josie got overshadowed by the incredibly busted top tiers but ended up being a really solid character. It's also pretty obvious they didn't invest a lot of time or effort into design and writing. I assume it was too check some boxes in the roster.
she captures the essence of Latin Dance perfectly, down to the counting of steps out loud 0:13, high energy moves with a dash of sensuality and quick steps the developers really did their homework with this one
At this point they shd just mod all the Tekken characters into Yakuza 0’s disco section for them to have the dance off of the century. Imagine Kazuya knee sliding in with Friday Night
She does remind me of christie for real. I want those two to meet each other. They would be the best of friends and it would help Christie's mental get better after that experience of her father passing away.
I would agree with the last three but screw lucky Chloe she had no impact on the franchise plus they made her win against Eddy when Eddie should've beaten her
I liked the break up of serious characters when Azucena was introduced, but the more I see her the more I realize that Namco hit a homerun with her. Bravo Namco! Bravo!👏👏👏
I genuinely like her. Lucky Chloe got on my nerves in a way I don’t think any Tekken character had before her, not even fuckin’ Alisa who drove me up a wall and Josie who’s crying was nails on a chalkboard. But Azucena just looks like a ton of fun, and I look forward to practicing her. I’ll still be sticking with the characters I’ve played since Tekken was created till now (King, Paul and Bryan for serious stuff and Nina, Kuma, Steve, Lee, Lei or Yoshi if I wanna fuck around) but I always like to know what everyone on the roster is capable of. Plus, you never know if you’ll find a new character to add to your favorites. She looks like she’s going to fit in pretty seamlessly. I’m pretty damn excited for T8, I’m pretty occupied at the time being now that Johnny is finally in GGStrive but Tekken has been a part of my life since the first game came out in my early teens and I’m gonna keep on playing until I’m dead.
Azucena is so much fun, I was hoping my either Lucky Chloe or Eddy was returning in Tekken 8 but Azucena would have to fit that role as both a dancer & fighter. Still hoping for dlc tho, only just to see a dance off between her & LC.
Tekken 8 didn’t have to go this damn hard but I’m glad they did! They went as far as to cast Marisa Contreras an actual Peruvian voice actress for the role!
Wow 🤩 I do believe this is the first time Kid N’ Play’s House Party dance has been captured on a game. Good, enjoyable stuff! This character keeps getting better.
This makes me think back about what that one PR guy said about MVC Infinite, how "players don't care about the characters, but only the functions they have." There are definitely tons of differences between Azucena and Lucky Chloe, but the base is pretty much the same: cheerful girl which uses dance moves to fight. I've never wanted to play as Lucky Chloe, and I always groaned whenever I had to fight against her because of how many things about her are just plain irritating. I'm totally willing to get Tekken 8 just so I could play Azucena because of how fun she looks.
Excelente, aunque probando la Beta Cerrada, tienes que ser muy frio para bailar asi tan cachosamente al oponente. Te puedes ganar un buen combo 👊.Saludos desde Peru
0:42 I'm a Spanish speaker, and frankly I'm so surprised at the inaccuracy of the subtitles. She's actually saying "I'll create the perfect brew (coffee) for you."
