Tekken Tag 2 Special Win Pose Showcase, this is a unique way Tekken tell you a story between the characters. You can select these animations by holding 1 after the battle.
TTT2 flopped commercially (Which is weird since IMHO it's the most complete and fun TEKKEN out of all of them) and they almost stopped making more Tekken...until TEKKEN 7 came out and wiped the floor with its double digit million sales
@@brupts7297 also because it arrived in the tail end of the PS3's main cycle, shortly before the PS4 hit. I'm pretty sure that also played into it. A very late PS3 release and a dead at arrival Wii U release. It's a shame, because I too prefer TTT2 over T7. 😩 If only they had pushed out a PS4 version instead. 😒
@@atl-tiger-mask7391 every previous Tekken had one or two characters that were gods compared to the rest of the cast. Watch breakdowns on Tekken 5 Steve, Tekken 1 King, Tekken 4 Jin and Kazuya, etc. Tekken 7 at least has a god tier 😂
@@TheDamonslaya Why are you telling me to watch breakdowns of the games when i was there in the environments when they were new. People complained about things in the past that were just skill issues. Tekken 6 bob law is a common gripe for why people think people didnt play/enjoy tekken 6, when they arent even the most overloaded in 6 lol. Same with 5. T3 TT1 T4 are experimental ideas so we dont expect them to be fully balanced, but we appreciate their attempts at trying to make a new fun medium. During the era of T3-T4 people were excited for the future in SPITE of the bugs. What future are people excited for, for tekken 7? They polarized every neutral game option and turned it a big ass decision making game, like its street fighter or something. One to two random decisions in T7 can lead to a win. That can not be said for any other tekken game. In every other tekken game you pretty much had to the options of each character in order to play the game as intended, now you dont, and you just really need to know your combos and fish the whole game for launches instead of pacing it with pokes delay catches and movement
@@guioaca7 from tekken 3, ttt2 let's you to play with all the characters of the tekken franchise (till the date it was released), that's why ttt2 is not for the main story
1:38 Bob, the only person who really respects Ganryu since he also knows how hard it is to stay fat but fit and able to fight. I love these types of interactions :)
I also love the contrast in strength from the high five. Sumo wrestler are known to be monstrously powerful when it comes to raw strength and they constantly have to push each other which requires a lot of strength from all of their body so of course Ganryu hurt Bob's hands a little with that slap
@@yasminemobley7858 jun does say something to that effect in the 90s animated movie, "why are you so angry, is it because your father threw you off of that cliff!?" Or something like that
Jun: I need you to pay the child support to send him to study Kazuya: He can study the physics of his body is like by walking off a cliff, for all I care
TTT2 was tekken's greatest game for us to know more about every character's relationships and personalities, n thats one of the reasons why it was my favorite tekken game of all time😍
Best thing about tag 2 is everything you learned since tekken 2 actually pays off. It's just the tag attacks are quite broken. They should've just keep it like tag 1. Unlike 7 where everything gets nerfed (like the mishimas hellsweep) or outright removed from 100+ moves to around 80...
Nope, according to the Netsu system, Jin was wary of her, thinking of her to be an imposter or something. Hence, he struggles to believe it, when he does, he smiles.
@@miskasaarivuori4320 according to Lars’s wiki, it states that he is Hatchi’s illegitimate son. Presumably after killing Kazumi, went to have another baby that didn’t have the devil gene.
(3:09) Jack-6 and Prototype Jack nodding respectfully to each other and flying off will always be one of my top favorites. Beautiful in its simplicity.
1:33 Is all you need to know about Yoshimitsu. It's Yoshimitsu perfectly defined. These animations are incredible because they explain the characters so well.
Yoshimitsu disappeared right before Brian was about to smacked him doesn’t tht mean yoshimitsu can foretell wht you gonna do before you even do it?😂😂ninja style
@@EmilXOM ppl are dumb and don't know a good thing when they see it. I'm being completely irrational btw, love this game but it never stops pissing me off that it didn't sell MORE than it did... a LOT more
But legitimately that's my favorite Win pose! People tend to forget that Heihachi genuinely likes Xiaoyu and Xiaoyu genuinely cares about Heihachi. He did take Xiaoyu under his wing
@@rueme4228 Since Tekken 3! That's the main reason why Xiaoyu's in the tournament after all! Heihachi was the one who brought her in after Xiaoyu infiltrated the ferry Heihachi's in, taking down his many guards surrounding the ferry. Heihachi, impressed with Xiao's fighting prowess, decided to take her in even to the point of enrolling her to Mishima Polytechnic, where she became classmates with Jin. Heihachi is also the reason why Xiaoyu has Panda. Panda is basically a gift from Heihachi, so that Xiao has a bodyguard. So believe it or not, Heihachi being a girl dad is not that farfetched XD
@@UltimateCerberus honestly it makes me wonder, you would think with Jun raising Jin he would be a more well rounded person. yea losing his mom is tramatic but i don't think his personality would turn him that cold unless it was Hehachi's training that turn Jin cold Kazuya being cold makes sense since he was dropped off a cliff as a child but not Jin.
These are the details that I miss from T7, apart for Mishimas and Akuma I think there is no intros like these and 0 outro like these. Hope that in T8 they will be better on this.
@@shawnsaliwan5129 let me tell you, i haven't known about this till now, what the hell, they look so close in age. (And yes, I'm not that big of a Tekken fan not even a big fighting games fan, and since youth we were told that they're brothers, we were lied to lol)
Tekken have been losing personality since Tekken 6. In combat system, Tekken 6 was the best. In story, Tekken 5 was the best. Everything after these tittles is trash! And I am a masisve tekken player, but this game now is a shame, sadly
TT2 character models are really good especially their faces and hair ❤️❤️❤️ hopefully in Tekken 8, they focus on character models, environmental effects (like stains, wind flowing effect and sound ambience) because these tiny details also makes huge and more felt "alive" while playing the game ❤️❤️❤️
yeah, because tag 2 didnt do too well, and then revolution came and did even worse, they had a smaller budget for tekken 7, thats why its a bit barebones. but yeah surely bc tekken 7 is the biggest in the series so far, hopefully they go all out for tekken 8
People hating on ttt2 back then, smh. This is and always will be my favourite tekken game. The only things I'd miss from t7 is xiaoyu new costume and Lucky chloe.
Such a fun game. Tekken 8 will have a better budget than 7, so there must be interactions like these. Especially when you look at how well netherrealm and dbfz has been receiving feedback for having special dialogues between characters. It really gives life to these games.
Dissidia Final Fantasy on PSP had a great unique opening dialog system too. Too bad the ps4 entry in the series removed it. Hope it becomes universal in the genre.
Except dbfz is just same pose but some scenes from the anime is in the game. But some that aren't. Then basically it's same pose and different dialogue.
All these unique interactions give me life. I miss wholeheartedly when games had this level of detail and lore hidden in it. (like the Jin and Jun smiling fighting along side each other as mother and son, and then Kazuya and Jun frowning cause he is a bad father) 3:00 'Changed my comment so I'm not giving misinformation. Thanks boi brando.'
@@boibrando. Right! I forgot Ogre 'killed' her, my bad for the misinformation. I like to think she 'died' in tekken 3, so when she returns in the latter games as 'Unknown' it makes more sense than just becoming that out of the blue.
If you have full knowledge of the lore, all these character interactions either end up being wholesome (like Lars helping up Alisa or Jin with Jun), unexpected interactions (like Bob and Ganryu's belly bump, Lei training with Mokujin, or Jack copying others), funny (there are a LOT of them here), awkward (basically every tag team with enemies), satisfying (like Alisa finally meeting her father Dr. B), or a mix of either (like Paul finally landing a somersault and Law getting hyped for his bestfriend).
This is what I miss from Tekken. That such level of dedication to the character's story and interraction with others that brings life to every single moment. You can see how the devs put so much love and efford to this game.
