The Next Battlefield game is a long way away but maybe there's a chance we get to know what it is soon. Let's discuss when it might be revealed and play some Battlefield V! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
I don’t understand why people preorder at all in the digital era of game distribution. I used to preorder back in the day because it meant the difference of you getting a game versus not getting it at all because there was a finite number of discs on launch day. But nowadays you can wait for the user reviews to drop and then download it on launch day or the day after.
@@dankengine5304 haha he's sitting here very confused because as far as he knows I'm sitting here just laughing to myself.... But then again, I kind of am 😂😂😂
New battlefield please dont have operators, dont have operators. Just class sytem, with generic looking soliders, scoreboard, destructible environments and good maps. Thats all you need.
True but i also think destruction kind of ruin the gameplay by reducing the amount of cover. Destruction can only worked when new cover is created after destruction (levolution was pretty good for that). For example Valparaiso is barely playable as an infantry at the end of the game at least on B. So I hope impressive destruction but without ruining gameplay
Especially with how bad 2042 was at launch, I don’t think Dice can afford to keep things too secret to try and build hype. They should just come out and tell us exactly what they are doing to build trust with the players again.
They should just make release called. best of battlefield Poll the maps people most like and would like to see remastered and just release that. All the map designs are already done. Then they can spend another 18 months extra on planned new release.
It's already done, their ONLY chance could be to bring back a fully destructible environment like back on bad company days, otherwise they shouldn't even bother wasting their or our time. Honestly I wouldn't bother with whatever they make.... but bring battlebit to ps5 and il be on it day 1!
I've been playing since 1942. Sadly, I've never been less interested in Battlefield. The next one will have to be pretty special for me to even look at it. I think BF3 was peak Battlefield. When those trailers dropped. Man...
BF3 graphics back then looked absolutely insane. When I saw the scene where they shoot an AT rocket into the building (singleplayer) I was like there's no way the graphics are this insane. It also helped a lot that they focused on "realism" side of things instead of "fictional battles". Falling down in Damavand Peak, all sorts of maps including day and night maps, close quarters and long range, etc Also the glimpse at destruction with Strike at Karkand at the end of the trailer was chef's kiss.
3 things im hoping for the next Battlefield: 1. Destructive environment that they actually promised. 2. Customize your own solider and no operators. 3. It actually becomes good.
Thing is, BF had always been a great game for sorta in the middle players that don’t want crazy, meth-fueled action (CoD) and slow, realistic sim games (squad, HLL). 2042 was something that never was, and never really could have been. They need to revert back to BF 3&4 days, or it’s over. Give us some good urban maps, local voice chat, make it more grounded, and slow the game down a bit.
Nah bring battlefield 2 back. Battlefield 3 for a real veteran although a good game was the first signs of it going down hill if you know what a good battlefield game consisted of
You know how bf4 was called bf3+? Safest thing would be to do a BF4+. Or even a remaster of it. Just BF4 with more stuff and customisation. Simple. Easy.
@@Gigachad_97 the movement mechanics, and visuals were the nest things about bf5.... however, not going to lie i spent entirely too much time building fortifications in that game 😂 it was just fun building up those mini bases in enemy territory and giving them a headache to help out in the bigger picture
But then nobody will buy their new game that's loaded with battle passes and shop items. And if they try to implement those elements to remasters, they know the community will reject them so that's why they haven't touched remasters.
Hope they take the time to get it right. Dice was so passionate with their game back in the day. They used real life locations to make the maps and they were awesome.
@@_Funniel BF4 conquest servers on Xbox are pretty consistent, I jump on for a while pretty occasionally. It's a relatively small player base now, but most of them are vets so you can get pretty good games.
I'd love to see a modernized Battlefield Vietnam. The Vietnam war has a lot of character and unique gameplay opportunities. Blasting Fortunate Son on a heli while spraying an M60 into the jungle would make an incredible moment in a 64 player lobby, not to mention how good it would look on Frostbite engine. But with today's political climate and sensitive topics, it may as well never gonna happen. Plus, modern DICE and their philosophy on art direction/game design wouldn't be able to do the premise justice, I think.
Bro what do you mean they couldn't make a Vietnam game with today's political climate? If CoD can keep pumping out Modern Warfares tangentially relared to a war the US _just_ got out of, DICE can make a fucking 'Nam game. The tough part IMO would be balancing authenticity with stuff like weapon variety, for example how many Cold War prototypes they'd be willing to pull from, BF1-style.
14:59 the V1/JB-2 rocket explosions are one of the most satisfying things in this game and the way you get launched back when near it is also really cool. Wish that they would've added something similar to 2042 or at least to the next Battlefield.
@@TheoriginalBMT BFV had a lot of great QoL changes and ideas. -squad revive -squad points (V1, smoke barrage, artillery, unique vehicle, resupply) -the entire animation system -fortifications -attrition (personally I liked the idea) -being able to grab medpack/ammopack from medics/supports who don't throw them -Recon's flare -the guns felt nice in hand -shooting grenades and throwing them back
You know what's gonna actually hype me for Battlefield now? Bringing back BFV full support. That would be a very bold - and also very improbable - move from DICE.
I miss being excited about a battlefield game. BF1 was the last one I was truly excited for, aside from the pacific theater update. BFV ended strong for me, so I was excited for 2042 until it released. Since then I genuinely haven't been excited to play, even though it's still the only shooter I play (aside from Helldivers now). All I want is a good game, I don't care when it comes lol
I've seen this comment before but I'll say it here again. I want the movement of BFV, the atmosphere of BF1, a modern day setting, the fun of Bf4 or bad company 2. 64 player count should be a thing for better designed maps. A free battle royal mode.
If its another ww2. I pray they do it right this time and base it either around the eastern front or market garden or something. Or even the Northern fronts with the Finnish
They would be pretty stupid to do another ww2 type of game after they already made bf1 and bf5 back to back. Im not buying it if its this once again. Go back to bf3 and bc2 and im in , otherwise they are not getting my money.
If they do make a new BF they should have more ammo types. Like fire rounds exploding rounds. A sticky Semtex grenade. Ohh and bring back a story mode.
A fun to play game without bugs, bad performance, hideous microtransactions and support until the next BF comes would be a start... But yeah... Different ammo types probably would be fun
Battlefield will have to claw there way out a hole for me to buy. I'll watch you play this one first I'm done, giving them a chance. And do the devs at DICE is even know what DICE is!?
Hey Jack, I'd really like to hear a deep dive from you into WHAT you want to see in Battlefield, class designs, weapons and how they work with classes, map designs, vehicles. You must have opinons on how spawns and healing/etc work. As an example; In older BF games, you only spawned on squad leader, in new ones, it's so... spammy. Same thing with squads being able to heal eachother in endless chain gangs, no medic required. What are your thoughts on these kind of gameplay design options? Are there things you would like to see change? For example, imagine if not only executions, but sniper headshots, and explosive damage made it impossible to revive an ally, because they were PROPER dead, but Sniper rifles were taken back to being actual prone/mount dependent not quickscopable/run & gunnable. You've got such an in-depth experience of the game, and have played it since... BF2? It'd be great to hear your thoughts in a deep dive kind of way. I've been playing BF on and off since the demo for BF 1942 with Wake Island, and while that was in no way a perfect game, it feels like so much of what made the game work with classes, and positives/negatives to classes and weapons has all gone... and it's all just... a worse CoD clone with a confused, and bloated map.
If it’s a free beta… I’d argue everyone should bother lol. Not only will it give them a good indicator of public interest and bug reporting. But it will also give us very valuable information about the state of development, performance/optimisation and most importantly the server stability.
@@k.rizz. battlefield hasn't hosted a real beta test since bf4s community test environment. stress testing servers is not beta testing. every other "beta test" has lasted 4 days at most, with almost zero feedback implemented into the final product - same goes for bug reports. based on the last 3 BF games, not on some philosophical whimsy. evidents stop licking the boot billy boy.
Member when CoD2 came out, I just bought it and played for 8 years. They released 3 little patches and that was it. No content needed since day 1. I could draw most maps from the top of my head till this day. Pity today's players will never experience this pure unspoiled gaming era.
The only thing I can say is I pray we see a black screen with fortunate son playing with the title card at least. That’s what I want the next battlefield to be.
Next BF Wish list: Theme: Modern, or, Cold war (1960s- early 1990s) turned hot war alternate timeline? BFV movement (crouch-run, leaning, back-crawling mechanics, etc.) GET RID OF OPERATORS & BRING BACK CLASSES Generic soldiers with modest customization but each class still has its own "look" like BF4 Good maps with BF1/V/4 destructibility Some (not all) maps have gimmicks like being able to destroy the tower on Shanghai Launch is smooth with minimal bugs and a decent amount of content (I know this is a hard ask for AAA games these days lol) Buildable fortifications similar to BFV but support players can choose where to place them (similar to HLL?) 64 players with smaller but highly detailed maps (like BF4/1/V) > 128 players with large empty maps Squad Point system like BFV Single-player campaign with one story like BF3/4 with actual effort behind it (large-scale battles with a mix of smaller scale spec-ops style missions if it makes sense)
I remember first time using a V1, I think it was in Beta, I got like 12 kills and I was like that was Freakin' awesome. Squad call ins are just a cool feature. They are usefull, promote squadplay and are cool af. I hope the will come back in the next game.
Sure they cut BFV short and were working on 2042 for ages, same narrative we’re being fed now for the next game. I’d almost prefer them to remaster BF1 or BF4 and get familiar again with a successful battlefield game and why people liked them. Which would maybe help them for making something new - because at this point there’s no one in the community with any faith at all they can create something original that’s good
I am excited to leave gaming behind this year. Since I got an xbox360, cod5, and halo3 I have been addicted to the damn things. Lately I have thought a lot about the things I am prioritizing. I have been making a lot of mistakes. This year I hope I can buy a property going up for sale that borders my sister and nieces and nephews. I hope I can start my own family and watch my kids and their cousins play with the chickens and the goats. That should be a fun game to look forward to
I'm really excited for Transformers Reactivate, as it's been nearly 10 years since the last bangin' TF game, and this looks like it'll have a similar vibe to the old Cybertron games. Also Marvel Rivals!
I'd be hyped for something set in the Korean War maybe? I feel like no video game has really done it and it just seems like such a cool opportunity with the change over of piston engine to jet engine planes. Even a hell let loose without the planes could be super fun.
God I just hope we get a modernized BF4 with bringing back the feel that BF1 mastered with the horror of the battles and the screams and all that. Bring back operations and make them relevant to real life events etc. and finally bring back that “only in Battlefield” feel that I feel BF4 still masters to this day. I jumped in some matches again recently and I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at the general absolute chaos of the tank battles and skillful air battles happening around me.
Great chill vid. I REALLY want the next BF to be good. I realise it won’t be easy. I want good graphics, good movement, guns and attachments, destruction, but most of all squad-mate play. C’mon EA….. give us something. Listen to Uncle Jack.
