In this Video I am going to discuss Tailbone Pain Symptoms, Causes and Treatment in Urdu language.
Last part of our Vertebral Column has a triangular shaped bone called Coccyx. Whenever we sit down then Coccyx supports us and maintains our balance. There are various muscles and ligaments attachments at this point. Tailbone Pain (Coccydynia) is a common problem and this problem is more prevalent in Women as compared to Men.
Symptoms of Coccydynia are
1. Tailbone Pain
2. Pain while standing Up
3. Pain during Sitting down on a Hard Surface
Causes of Tailbone Pain are
1. Fall on a Hard Surface
2. Slipping From Stairs
3. Falling down while sitting on a chair resulting in fracture & Inflammation
4. In Pregnant Females or during childbirth various hormones are secreted which give flexibility to the muscles & ligaments attached at coccyx resulting in pain.
5. Obesity
6. Sitting on a Hard Surface for a long time
Your doctor will take medical History from you and will perform clinical examination of affected region and will prescribe you X-rays & treatment.
For Treatment of this Condition we recommend
1. Medicines Reducing Pain & Inflammation at Coccyx
2. Gels For Topical Application on affected Region
3. Hot & Cold Compression with Hot & Cold Therapy Gel Packs
4. Physiotherapy of affected Region
5. Ring or Coccyx Cushion are advised to the Patient. Inflated Rickshaw Tyre Tube can also be used as a Cushion.
6. Avoidance of Sitting on a Hard Surface
ost of the Patients are treated by these treatment Measures but if the problem persists then on the affected Site Corticosteroids Injection is given.
