Yep, Bron might be the greatest loser of all time😀..To be honest though, Jordan is a part of the media driven marketing of the NBA. Not taking anything away from what he and the Bulls did. David Stern, who didn't soot one shot or get one rebound is the singular most valuable asset the league has ever seen. He helped to create the MJ frenzy with his brilliant marketing strategies. There are 9 players who have won more rings than Jordan but will never be considered important to the game. Karriem, the NBA's all time leading scorer for 37 years, who also won 6 rings is very seldom if even in the GOAT conversation. So it seems winning takes on a different value and importance when we talk about MJ unlike anyone else to ever play the game.
@@AfrikanLifestyle Lew Alcindor wasnt the bus driver for all of those rings, how can you just ignore that fact? Thats why he is rarely mentioned. Can you honestly say that Jordan wasnt the clear best player on all of those Championship runs?
@@AfrikanLifestyleThere have been plenty of great players in the league before Jordan. But Jordans charisma and electricity he brought to the court was captivating. He had Bird and Magic calling him that best player in the league his rookie season. He made NBA All-Stars look like kids. Isiah used to say, "Jordan treats us like we are in high school". Trust me kid, the level of superstar your dealing with will dictate marketability. Did you watch "AIR"?...Nike dumped their entire budget on an unproven rookie, AND gave him a guaranteed percentage of profit on every shoe that branded his name and moniker. In that time, NO ONE did that. But, they saw what most people saw. A future legend who could change the game. David Stern had nothing to do with that 🤦
@@AfrikanLifestylethere are kinks in your armor. Jordan game produce his marketing,it started in college, go look and listen to commentators during his 2nd and 3rd year in college, Stern was not a believer in Jordan’s game till after his first Championship, Stern used Jordan to promote the league outside U.S Jordan promoted himself without “social media “ before he started winning Championships, before Pippen or Phil Jackson, sorry people who were there are still alive.
A masterpiece yet again. The era where you pay people to say your the goat, instead of winning or earning it. Then disrespect the greats who paved the way. Great video my guy.
MJ clearly set the bar too high and we've constantly had to lower it over the years to keep LeBron in the conversation. But even after lowering it, LeBron still couldn't pass him.
-- I now have MJ 1, Kareem 2, and Lebron 3. P.s. I have Bill Russell as the GOAT Herder b/c 11 rings is a lot but also started with a league of just 8 teams (and ended with 14), but still dominated Wilt as a team so yeah, GOAT Herder.
any real basketball fan would at least entertain the notion. duncan and his spurs are one of the most slept on dynasties ever. timmy is easily a top 10 player, and if he was ever someones favorite or highest ranked, i would understand why.
Oh I have always thought that Duncan ranked ahead of Lebron! More championships, fewer losses in the Finals, 19 consecutive playoff appearances (every year of his career) and 50+ wins during each of those regular seasons (save for the shortened lockout 1998-1999 season) to boot! Duncan was way more consistent than Lebron in his playing on the court; he made his teammates better; stayed with one team all the way through and never once thought about leaving the Spurs for "greater glory"; had better relationships with his coaches. The Big Fundamental will always be golden! He almost always gets skipped over when it comes to discussing Kobe or Lebron as being the G.O.A.T. after Jordan retired the second time.
Even Kobe should be rank above lebron!!! Lebron left the cavs because he could not pass from Boston with kg, Pierce and Allen. And Kobe beat those guys with an old gasol!!!! Kobe won 2 without super teams.
Finally. I don’t feel crazy anymore after finding this channel. Im a big Jordan/ Kobe guy but I’d give LBJ his props if he didn’t team jump….you can’t be the king if you run from team to team for titles….
Another epic. The hardcore truths. Well said - the bare minimum to be remotely in the GOAT conversation is that you dominate your era. You can't be thinking about other eras when you haven't even dominated your own era.
Exactly there was no question who was the absolute bonafide best I’m Jordan’s era. People did love Hakeem. But no one thought he was as good as Mj. Lebron hasn’t even led the league in almost all of his years in a single stat. The way Jordan led his league in a wild amount of stats.
It's too late. Cuz now these young kids think and act just like him. Jalen green Ben Simmons DeAndre ayton Joel embiid ja mordant etc. We just keep moving the goal posts. And they all act entitled and shit. Only faces il respect leading the NBA after his retirement is Gianni or jokic or Luka because at least they care. Notice how I only mentioned euro players........
We all know one of the reasons he left the Heat is because Pat Riley, Zo and the rest of the organization wasn't gonna let him destroy the team asking 4 players they'd be stuck with once he moved on.
I remember at the time, I cut him some slack. Maybe he really did want to play back at home. In retrospect, he went back just to bleed them dry of their assets. Left Cleveland again to repeat the process on my beloved lakers. One more year of this crap.
@@manz7860 one reason why i think Cleveland would be insane to take him back to retire, while he did get you that one ring, he did leave your team in shambles twice. And they seem to have a good young corr developing.
@@manz7860bro cmon every man has his faults but by the 4th year Wade was no longer the same from injuries and Bosh was his only best bet but that even got cut short. If Lebron stayed in 2015 they aren’t getting big names nor trading Bosh/Wade for any.
The sad part is that Bron is a great player but his fans and the media love to put down other alltime greats which creates resentment towards him also they rarely hold him accountable is always some one else fault
Great video. People forget when Lebron joined the Heat he was the back to back MVP. What’s even worse was his performance against Dallas in the 2011 Finals. How can ppl (and Lebron) say he is the GOAT after that performance where he averaged 17.8 ppg and was the 3rd leading scorer on his team? It’s ridiculous.
FIFTH leading scorer in that series!!! As a back to back league mvp in his 8th year. It delegitimizes his GOAT case for all of time. And I am working on a longer video about the complete timeline of the super team era lol. Would love to do a deep dive on the 2011 finals series as well tho.
It’s wrong to point at one series. What u can point at is Jordan leading the league def and offense overall with mvp and dpoys and a ton of stats while lebron has only led in a single stat a couple of times.
I bought a pair of LeBron Witness 7s, thinking they would help me play like LeBron. I did....I traveled 3 times, airballed 2 free throws, had 6 turnovers, missed 5 of 12 Fts, I cried to the refs (thankfully they were too scared to give me a technical), and clanked a 3 with the clock winding down. All things considered, I had a pretty decent first half.

The LeBron story just shows how you can manipulate people's minds by simply declaring yourself the greatest and then having the legacy media amplify it. Worked with Mohammad Ali too. In his case he actually backed it up while in LeBron's case he didn't.
It’s ridiculous and an insult to even compare MJ to him… it’s basically propaganda. I remember their some poll that said Lebron was the most hated Superstar than they had another one that said Lebron was the most liked!? How does that even make sense…

You don’t think lebron backed up the expectations that was put on him in high school his considered a top 3 player of all time. What your argument here
iamsheron7408, he's backed up his expectations by being a fraud. He backed up his expectations by being the greatest Legm of all time... too bad his luck ran out at the end otherwise he could have frauded his way into convincing most that he's is the goat instead of just the kids that don't know any better.
That's kind of like Michael Jackson who was desperate to push that King stuff and was desperate to be like Elvis. Learning his moves marrying his daughter. The epilogue got me wrapped up, it was the perfect explanation of what competition sports really means and how LeBron has spear headed this young generation into accepting participation awards and anything other than 1st place as long as they play somewhat well, "they can live with the results" a bullshit mindset created by LeBron and accepted by inferior athletes and fans to avoid the feeling of failure 😊pathetic humans and they wonder why everything is frowned upon by older generations, it's not hate, it's an assessment of a weak mentality and it translates to other areas of life, so many people are afraid to compete and lose, that they accept cheating and stacking the odds and pass it off as being the "smarter" person when in reality it's cowardly, LeBron also made it okay to have excuses and blame others for failing, it's a very toxic mindset, just look at how his fans act towards other basketball fans when they disagree with them, I rest my case 😴

It’s interesting how LeBron is always called the best in his era when Curry arguably did more in LeBron’s own “Era”. Curry set up Golden State Warriors to be a dynasty winning the same amount of rings as LeBron and has the winning record over LeBron in the NBA Finals. Curry also changed the whole game of Basketball yet overall you don’t see a lot of people saying he’s the GOAT over MJ like they do with LeBron.
I hate Lebron, but it’s bc Lebron was carrying not so good teams deep in the playoffs, I have never seen curry do that, you could argue luka can even do it, but not curry, and curry is one of the only guys who stacked with another top 3 superstar guy immediately after losing in his 2nd finals appearances and the 2 rings curry won without Kd have big question marks on it, it’s the same with lebrons rings and such, but he at least carried bad teams deep in the playoffs and had moments on the heat that he could dominate with only dwade on his team and reach finals

Lebron may become the only player in NBA history to have played with not only his son, Bronny, but also his step dad, Delante West-which is pretty impressive.
Let’s also not forget that despite LeBron being a part of the Heat “Superteam”, the 2014 Spurs destroyed that team so bad in the Finals, he is now saddled with the worst point differential Finals series loss in NBA history… with two all-star players on his, oops my bad, D-Wade’s team. He isn’t even Robin to Wade, he’s the third wheel essentially Batgirl as Bosh joined Team Collusion first. And yes, I know the Spurs had future hall of famers Ginobili and Parker, a late second round pick and late first round pick respectively, but do not forget the Spurs drafted and cultivated these two talented players to new heights. @@skap_attack 3 of those titles are straight bs. 2 with Miami and one bubble bs title. And yet LeBum fans claim that KD's 2 rings doesn't count as he joined Avengers but still couldn't those Heat rings 😂
One of the things that made the Nuggets' run special for me was that they did it without a super team, just a really good team. No begging, no excuses, no backroom deals or collusion. Honestly, if Jokic can keep playing at this level for another few years and bring in a couple more rings, he'll be an all-time great.
@@borisfrlicI would argue that unlike Lebron, Jokic actually makes his teammates play better. In Lebron's case, it's more about benefitting each other than making his teammates better. For example, if he has a 3 point shooting teammate. Either a teammate receives a better quality 3 point shot due to Lebron's gravity, or Lebron won't be double teamed because of a threat of a kickout, making Lebron's drives easier. Jokic can do that, and more. Jokic's teammates actively try to improve their off-ball movement because when Jokic has the ball, they know a pass will come when Jokic thinks they are open.
Let's not forget about Giannis three years ago. Both Giannis and Jokic are doing everything the right way. If they both stay put and win 2 more rings, they would both be near top 10 all time players in my book. That's a lot of 'IFs', but so far, I love what I am seeing.
I was watching KG's show with his guest TMac when they began talking about how the modern era of players has destroyed the game. When they were going to elaborate, they stopped and moved on to another topic. Most retired basketball players also know this but avoid talking about it.
My guess is the podcasters are allowed a space by the major media and RU-vid, so if they don't listen and spew narratives they will get sent to the shadow realm of podcasts. There is absolutely no reason Gilbert arenas should be treated as a great basketball mind who needs to have an opinion on basketball. The dude got kicked out the league for threatening to kill a teammate over a gambling debt 😂 yet LeBron fans really take that guys word as gospel 😂
Thats why ive always said its clear a narrative is being pushed. Being great means one influencing his team to winning significant chips...not stats, not 2nd place finishes. Lebron show up and all the all time great criteria suddenly changes
It’s not even just that tho, Jordan led the league in a wide range of stats throughout his career. Lebron doesn’t usually end a season leading the league in a single stat

Great work and keep showing these new players why even though they didn't all win, they are respected for competing, and not quitting on their teams. So many guys that didn't get the ring we still believe they are great basketball players to this day.
Absolutely. There is not shame in losing. There is not shame in being beaten by a superior player or team. As long as you give it everything you have and compete to the end, that's all we as observers and fans can ask. The only thing we do not want to see, is the alleged "best players" of an era quitting and running away in the first sign of adversity. There are MANY, countless players that never won a single title that did it with more honor and grace than many of the so called "greats" we see today. Many thanks for watching and for your comment.
@@danieltozzi6655 hahahaha you mean one of the many excuses? No I haven’t forgot him “breaking his hand” 😉 in game one. Yet playing the entire series with absolutely no hint of discomfort or pain whatsoever. Never appearing on any injury report. And shaking hands and high fiving with kids while he was coming off the court after being swept in game 4, only to appear at the press conference with a fake cast on 25 mins later. No, trust me, I haven’t forgotten 😂
The funny thing is finals appearances dont mean much in a playoff system. Its not designed to have the 2 best teams in the finals, it just helps find the best team. If he played in the west he would have been eliminated before the finals, and in many cases not by the eventual champions. So in reality he has 4 rings from a 20 year career while having good enough teams that could have won at least 6-7, but he wasnt great enough to beat the spurs and mavs with the heat. And he couldn't beat the 17 warriors.
No other team could have beaten the 2017 Warriors in the playoffs. When they added Kevin Durant in the postseason, the Warriors were really unstoppable. They added Kevin Durant into a 73-9 team. The Warriors swept everyone in the Western Conference series convincingly. The Warriors were one win away from the perfect season when they lost game 4 in the NBA Finals that year, but even that Finals series was convincing because the Warriors beat LeBron-led Cavs with an average point differential of 13.75. Their lowest winning point differential was 5 points in Game 3, and their highest being 22 points in Game 1. I don't think anybody could have beaten the Warriors in 2017 because they are overpowered. The following year in the 2018 playoffs the Warriors were still a beyond excellent team with the addition of Kevin Durant, and with an excellent supporting cast. That's why they won back-to-back championships, and swept the 2018 Cavs. As with the 2014 Finals with the Spurs, I don't think anyone can beat the Spurs and how good they played in 5 games against the Heat. It was their revenge tour from last years Finals. Could it perhaps be that LeBron would have been eliminated prior to the Finals in the Western Conference? Probably, but I think he's still an excellent player to make an incredible impact on the team. However we're both speculating and because he played most of his career in the East so far, we will never know for sure. While I would agree that LeBron and the Heat choked in the 2011 Finals, I think it's hard to criticize the guy for not having 6 - 7 rings. Kobe doesn't have 6, he has 5 in 20 years, Shaq doesn't, and Curry doesn't (perhaps yet). Most "good enough" teams do not have 6 - 7 NBA championships as of writing this within the past 30 years. Hell, there are only 5 teams with more than 5 NBA championships (Spurs, Bulls, Warriors, Lakers, Celtics). If you were to narrow that list to NBA teams within the past 20 years, it would be even less NBA teams. I can understand you might not like LeBron because he flops, his attitude, or whatever reason it may be, but I just don't think you can bash a guy who doesn't have 6 - 7 rings because "good enough teams" could have won 6 - 7 rings within 20 years. Most teams don't win 5+ championships in 20 years. The only thing that I can think of between 2000 and 2020 are the Lakers and Spurs.

When I was a kid- pre Jordan the great debate was always Kareem/Wilt. I remember it on TV, I remember articles in magazines and sports pages. It was a thing. Nobody included Bill Russell in the conversation. Jordan started that when he started talking about Russell’s 11 after Jordan won 6. It was important to win rings, but the attitude was more “he’s got one too” than “I’ve got 6 and you’ve got 4.” Btw Kareem started winning those arguments when he passed Wilt’s point total. Oh, and nobody ever in any era sincerely believed Magic, Bird, or Duncan were THE Goat. They were always referred to as best of their position, or “in the conversation.”

Awesome video, like always. I just want to specify that the so-called goat debate is a product of this era, and didn't really exist before. Yes, people sometimes discussed about it here and there, but nobody really cared and there wasn't much tension. Fans were all for the current rivalries: Magic vs Bird, Jordan vs Drexler, Chicago vs New York, New York vs Indiana, Olajuwon vs Robinson, Houston vs Phoenix, Kemp & Payton Sonics vs Malone & Stockton Jazz. The only thing that mattered was who wins the series or the title, and all the debates and tensions had to do with that. The basketball community acclaimed MJ as the GOAT not because there was a debate, but to express the global admiration for what he was offering exceeded anything seen in the past. Now people talk all the time about who's the “goat,” “top 5,” “top 10,” because we have great talent but we don't have the essence of the game, that is, rivalry, intensity, excitement, everything that comes with passion to win above anything else. What we need is a new era of rivalries and genuine excitement to rise again.
Dude, awesome comment! I was thinking about that recently. All this talk about "the GOAT" has metastasized thanks to Lebron and his ilk propagandizing people through the mass media (specifically ESPN and Fox Sports) who hyper-focused on this topic on sports debates shows OVER and OVER and OVER again until people got all worked up about it. MJ is the GOAT because, as you astutely pointed out, he TRANSCENDED the sport. Even great SOCCER players worship MJ and soccer is the most popular sport in the world, MJ is the only American athlete that is more recognizable than Pele in Brazil. He is that transcendent as both player and icon. We need a return of rivalries, and beefs, and division traditions, and fan traditions, and UNIQUE styles of play (I miss Kobe so much, NOBODY today really plays like him - you never knew what you were gonna get with him, left handed floaters, etc). I think we are seeing some of that return with Jimmy Butler upsetting the Celtics and the Celtics beating Miami the year before. That is a real rivalry with real animosity. I also think the Clippers and Lakers have a chance to be a real rivalry if Kawhi and PG stay healthy which is basically a pipe dream lol.
@@feynmanschwingere_mc2270 Thanx man. That's true, Michael Jordan is the only basketball player in history that reached the same levels of popularity worldwide as the top soccer legends like Pele and Maradona. David Becham said that when he went to Real Madrid and his number 7 was taken by Raúl Gonzalez, he chose 23 because of his admiration for MJ. In 1999-2000 MJ's son asked for a Raúl's signed jersey when they were in Spain, and Raúl sent it writing "to his Majesty who I always admire" recognizing Jordan as the greatest athlete in the world. On the contrary, when Lebron went to LA and Zlatan Ibrahimovic was playing there, he welcomed-mocked him tweeting that now LA had a god (himself) and a king. Then Lebron sent him his jersey, and Zlatan sent it back signed by himself. :) Also, in the Champions League final in Paris last year, Real Madrid's fans booed Lebron like the fans at the Super Bowl this year.

This video needs to go viral. I'm sick of people saying winning doesn't matter when its the whole reason the game is played. If you aren't playing to win then wtf are you playing for? Show me one nba all time top 10 list that has players on it that never won a championship? I've never even seen one..
@@marlowstanfield6815 I’m fine with people saying that, but I’ve seen heaps of comments on here saying LeBron isn’t even top 10 and that Duncan is better and to me that’s crazy. This video is absolutely crazy and most of the people commenting on this video are crazy and delusional
@@matthewford3778 Duncan is better. Better leader and better fundamentally on both sides of ball than Bron who is top 10 imo but in the 2nd half behind MJ, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Timmy and Shaq
Great video, I agree with almost everything. My only complaint would be with Wilt Chamberlain, he was a winner and one of the Greatests of all time, he was just unlucky to to compete against another GOAT and THE Greatest Dinasty in NBA History (Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics). Sorry my bad english.
I remember when LBJ did the first team hop, and he predicted, "Not 1, not 2, etc." Just by looking at D-Wade, sitting next to him, you could tell that it was an embarrassing moment. Just a microcosm of what could have been a much more remarkable career...if only...
2 SHOTS AND 55 SECONDS What is this you ask??? This is the difference between LeFlop 4-6 in the NBA Finals instead of 2-8....let that sink in. LeBum!!!
And not only the narrow razor thin margin to 2-8, are we realistically even counting the Disney bubble as a title? Seriously tho. That was like an exhibition tournament.
@@skap_attack We CAN'T count it, remember Skap?? That's the "LeBum Fanboy" rules...if the team you were playing is way too good, it doesn't count lol. I am pretty sure the LaKers were heavy favorites to beat the 1-Star Miami Heat team. I don't remember anyone giving the Heat a snowball's chance in hell. By LeFangirl logic, there is no way this ring can go in his favor LOL!
@@skap_attack AND not only was that margin razor-thin, he wasn't even the one to make those historic shots to save his own ass! That was the "bums he carried to the Finals" lol
They have taken all accountability off the superstar athlete. The onus of responsibility used to fall squarely on the superstars shoulders when they had teams in contention for a deep playoff run.
the chinese basketball fans jokingly said Lebron have 3 abilities former super stars dont have, his flopping ability, the ability to travel without getting whistled and the ability to form a stacked superteam
You really nailed it again! WINNING "You play to win the game" is what matters in sports! Personal stats, team stats, those are all cherry on top of WINNING! If a guy has all the stats, the awards, the accolades and fails continually to win the chip... he cant possibly be the GOAT! He can be the greatest statistical LOSER of all time.. I mean he can be the least winningest dominate player of all time, the biggest thing is that people state with a straight face that Lebron: Get his teammates involved, is a "selfless player", is clutch... all while he hasnt lead the league in assists(which especially the last 5 yrs you would like he would be nailing this), or rebounds (isnt he an actual power forward?) he isnt all defense, he hasnt been the most clutch player on his championship teams for at least TWO of his 4 titles and all he does is LOSE... SO no... he isnt the best teammate, he doesnt consistently get them involved" he isnt clutch and every move he has ever made in his entire career has been about HIM ALONE! When can we just call him what he is... a great player, phenomenal athlete, incredibly smart business man/marketer of himself that has built an empire on his skills and "charm" and there is nothing wrong with that... he just isnt the greatest basketball player of all time... this video is the death nail in the coffin of LBJ
I mean if someone counts finals appearence then credit should be given to solo carry guys like Jimmy Butler this year who went to finals with 7 undrafted players in a stacked Eastern conference (beating top 2 teams that were favourites to win). But here people giving credit for LeBrons final appearence with Heat/Cavs both are loaded with HOF/All-Stars calibre teammates.
Thank you, it irritates me when people forget or ignore what the ultimate goal is supposed to be - winning. The true measure of 'greatness' is ones impact on winning, with no excuses.
@@michaelclark7706 And by that logic winning is then not the success of an individual. So neither winning or losing matter when assessing the individual, which is absurd and exactly the kind of participation trophy bs the video referenced. Miss me with your excuses created so that 1 man can be elevated above all others.
@@ShutThePuck We're not assessing the individual we're assessing the team. An individuals impact on a team winning is rewarded through the finals mvp. But you can't say a player didn't have an impact on their team's success if they didn't win the whole thing. That's like saying Damian Lillard is an awful player because his team has never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Your vids are always on point. Straight facts, no filler, making for airtight arguments that make today's NBA 'fans' cry out of frustration. 🤣🤣🤣 Good times.
Lebron living in this creator rent free for a veeeerrry loooong time. People react like this bec they know lbj is closing in. GOAT talks are existing as in lures people but in reality. You cannot compare eras
Lebron changes the game for the worst smh. The NBA is the ONLY sport you have idiots fans calling a guy the goat who losses more than he wins on the big stage. Lebron can't compete if he doesn't have an unfair advantage
It’s honestly hilarious. In a sport with SO many great ambassadors and winners that this generation has championed an overrated, bagless league destroyer. It’s funny, ironic and tragic all at once.
@skap_attack It's obvious he's very insecure. Just watch Jordan speak, he oozes confidence, not arrogance. LeChoke has to tell everyone he great. Lol if that don't say he weak minded I dont know what does.
I think the appeal of European players is that most of them stay committed to their teams when the team is committed to them (think Dirk). Giannis and Jokic were developed by their respective teams as raw prospects, and I expect them to stay put for a very long time. Rookies sign 4 year contracts - in today's NBA, if your team is not a contender yet, I would expect most of them to leave. I root for the Wizards, who hasn't picked up an impactful free agent....ever. I'll check with them in 4 years when tanking is complete.
european aint shit when come to basketball the nba and the nfl is a fake rigged league for white boys to able to compete with supreme niggas but league is trash now dont nobody wants to see some nba player child play in the nba the nepotism stinks
Love the respect you give to Mikan and Russell. Everyone else is just following the blueprint they created. Any GOAT conversation that excludes them is illegitimate and ignorant.
Respect for Mikan and Russell, but there is no GOAT debate. To include anyone else is illegitimate and ignorant. For the most part, this GOAT "debate" started gaining traction with the LeBron fans, so the entire premise of the "debate" is nonsensical at best.
We are living in times where one’s greatness is determined by media narrative and not by factual accomplishments. LeFlop is a product, hyped right after Jordan finally retired. We get what media creates and social media feed.
You notice the best player in the league always sets the precedent of competition for the rest of the league. In the 90s players would do things to gain a mental advantage over their opp because that's how Jordan competed. In 2000s, players carried a chip on their shoulder because that's how Kobe competed. In 2010, players jump team to team to join other stars because that's how Lebron competes
EXCELLENT point. I hadn't thought of that but you're actually 100% correct! THIS era embodies that p*ssified spirit. They all wanna team hop and play with superstars and be their own GMS and their own coach like Lebron. Nobody wants to be coached anymore. All the players wanna pick and choose who they play with, ALL OF THAT started with Lebron NOT KD. KD is blameless imo; he saw how LEMEDIA gave LeBron a pass for cheap rings on super teams and didnt criticize him, so he decided to do the same thing Lebron did.
Odd thing is If LeBron never made the Big 3 Heatles and stayed with Cleveland, the Spurs and Thunder would have won titles in that time and could have changed everything (KD never goes to the Warriors, Duncan would finish with 6 rings, Kyrie would not be on the Cavs, etc.). LeBron however might be able to win one title in Cleveland, but that would be his only championship.
I was here when you had less than 5K Subs, I mentioned I will be here for your 10K! Let's keep it going to 15 plus! You speak FACTS and the haters are gonna hate!!!
Imagine if Kobe joined Duncan in FA and then also added Dirk. All colluding to come together. That's what that Heat team was. But you can't imagine it as those players would not even think of doing anything like that. That would kill the whole purpose of competing. It's the equivalent of teaming up with your boys and destroying some kids on the court. There's no satisfaction in that
Just like how Kevin Durant went to the Warriors and swept the entire Western Conference giving them the winningest playoff record ever, even higher than their historic 73-9 run. Durant ruined the league. Am I right?
@@TheLongLouis no wonder Durant is called a snake. LeGoat did it first though. We should thank him for his bravery. God forbids the league would have balanced teams with true rivalries and competition
Here's my take on it. Just be consistent in your logic. If you think winning is most important when talking the best then apply that logic to everyone. If you think individual talent is most important, then hold that standard for everything. When if you ask me the most logical answer is somewhere in the middle. How good were you in regards to your success. Were you a talented loser or an untalented winner? The best of the best should be reserved for the talented winners and the others fall in behind. Tim Ducan should be in the greatest of all time discussion, he had the HIGHEST career win% of all time at 70+%, 5 rings, Finals MVPs and regular season MVPs, not to mention the most all defensive selections of all time as well. But a LOT of people are saying he's only 7-8. Individuals simply lack being consistent.
Thank you for making this series of videos. You perfectly articulated every point I have been trying to make since lebron, Wade, and Bosh decided to dick-tuck and collude to sign together and take a shortcut.
So when the Lakers got Pau for basically free to get Kobe his rings, that's not collusion because it was done by a team? Or Malone and Payton on the Lakers? Walton on the C's? lol
@@bumshka21 lololol pau Gasol a career one time all star in 7 years before teaming with Kobe who made zero all nba teams and won not a single playoff game. THAT was Kobe’s second best option on a team that went to 3 straight finals and won back to back titles while playing a 50 win team in every round for 3 straight years except one first round series. Compare that to D Wade who was first team all nba and top 5 in mvp for back to back years leading into his team up with Lebron. Who also won a finals mvp. Compare that with Kevin love who made TWO second team all nbas in the last 3 seasons with Minnesota prior to teaming with Lebron AND Kyrie. Compare that to AD who was third all time in career PER before teaming with bron. What a laughable and pathetic comment that was 😂. Oh and Karl Malone was literally FORTY when he joined LA. Lebron’s hall of famers are all in their primes when he stole rings with them. Grow up
Comparing the relative talent at Pau's vs Wade's positions helps to explain why he wasn't on selections like that. The reality is Kobe himself said that he wouldn't have won anything without Pau, hence hanging his jersey in the rafters. The rest is noise@@skap_attack
@@bumshka21 Chris Bosh played the same position as Pau. Kevin Love played the same position as Pau. They were both substantially more decorated and better players when they joined Lebron than when pau joined Kobe. And Kobe said that because he’s not a human piece of shit. Lebron takes all credit for a finals run where he averaged 26 points per game and Kyrie averaged 25. And hit the game winning, series clinching shot in game 7 of the finals. Lebron is most egotistical narcissist the world has ever seen. So I won’t put any stock into what he says. I know what I watched for 20 years. I stand behind the video.
Great points on nearly all accounts! I agree with the message of your argument, but one major detail is Duncan was really a CENTER--an all-time level Center and even listed as one for the majority of his seasons played. Just as no one really considered either Sampson or Olajuwon as a PF and C, Duncan in his seasons with Robinson was a center because C are primary rim-protectors on defense with mostly back-to-basket game (which Duncan was for all of his career, exclusively fitting the role during the post-Robinson years). I never thought of it as you noted, but LeWhine surprisingly compares to Jerry West both in terms of raw stats and NBA Finals record.
WOW. You just blew my mind with that fact about Duncan. So why do so many people, even legends like Barkley, keep calling him s PF? He actually DID play Center for most of his career the more i think about it. He played a bit like Olajuwon but Olajuwon was better than Duncan (and that's no sleight to the great Timmy, it's more a testament to how remarkable Hakeem was - destroying Shaq in the finals).
Thank you, @@feynmanschwingere_mc2270! I am a fan of Barkley (player and TV personality), but he, too, is part of sports media which inevitably promotes certain narratives (i.e. Duncan as a PF; many others the in media like paid pawn Nick Wright even making a G.O.A.T. conversation at all involving LeFlop). Absolutely, Olajuwon was superior to Duncan in nearly all facets of the game, except in the luck department as TD had a career with superior team management (consequently, better drafted teammates), quality of coaching staffs, overall quality of teammates, and fewer true contenders in the league during his respective era (really, it was mostly the Lakers, Heat, and Dirk). After listening to the evidence presented by astute basketball historians, I agree that Hakeem is the greatest center of all-time. I see Duncan ~#6, behind Olajuwon, Kareem, Wilt, Russell, and Admiral, but just ahead of Shaq.
Im sick of hearing these young folks try and change the Barometer of what it means to be GREAT. THIS IS 💯% FACTS This is exactly why their always talking about accumulated stats...and this sorry he was in the finals 10 times nonsense. The Warrirors are the greatest team of THIS era but then they shot themselves in the foot by losing the finals and it dont mean a THING if you aint got that RING!!!!!
alright you opened my eyes, it goes to show that younger fans that didn't see mj or even people like me that didn't see kobe just don't know how the nba was and are blinded by todays media

Lebron ruined his own legacy by blaming everyone but himself for his lack of killer mentality (i.e Kobe, Jordan, Bird) Those guys never made excuses. They were excellence and they demanded the same, and made even the most average players play like champions. Another great video.

I’ve watched every moment of Lebron’s career in real-time. I was so disgusted with everything in this era, my way to retaliate is with this channel.
I really like this video because I am just now getting into the NBA, and it was kind of a history video on the different eras of the NBA. Would have loved to see you get into detail about other guys who did not dominate their era but were amazing players, like Wilt, for the other decades. But still, thanks for the video!
My pleasure. If you peruse my channel More, I have done some deep dives into the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. They aren’t as popular as my other video, but they’re there nonetheless.
