Sometimes relationships end prematurely over fixable issues. However, you deserve someone who doesn't have to lose you 1st to value you. If he run away from the commitment because it scared him at first, but now realized he does want to build some future with you and you are the person for him, and there were no other serious issues between ye, like you said there was no cheating etc. I think you could give him a chance if you still love him, but make sure to be clear you are looking for commitment and not just playing around so he knows exactly what he is getting into. I'm glad I saw this video. I've been battling this urge to stick around with someone I once had an amazing connection with, but don't anymore. That one night he and I hung out was a memorable night, and I've been clinging on to that night ever since. I know I shouldn't cling on to just one night of chemistry, attraction and connection but I can't help it. Now, ever since then, the guy has been absolutely stale. He keeps coming back and talking to me though, which is a little confusing, but it's just plain old boring now. I find myself sticking around hoping we'd have another interesting night again but we never do. I would love it if Matt answered this! Good question. How I would react? I would just keep my high level, and be polite and nice as I am always, but stay cold and unfriendly at the same time...if that makes sense. I think this way you don't show that you are ok with him treating you badly, you actually show you have dignity, you have no reason to be angry or get back to him or something..he hasn't hurt you, you actually don't even care :) so he is simply someone you know, but totally unimportant. I think this is the best way to react, I'm doing this, and so far, everything has been ok :)

I broke yp with him because we were too young. Because I was too scared of the people's eye of how'll they judge us when we are together. I have to say I made the right decision. Time passes by, I've met tons of boys but I my feelings kept coming back to my first love. I want him back, maybe not now but someday, when our hearts are ready, when our friendship grew stronger and when we are living our dreams. He's too precious to me that I have to respect his decisions. I was happy that he's happy. I was with my ex for 8 years! We grew up together ! He told me he doesn't see me romantically and that he doesn't love me anymore. I hate these reasons maybe I'm in denial but we had a connection we made each other feel special and I do feel betrayed. He asked me to stay friends with him and to still hang out... I told him it would be too painful and that I was going to have to say goodbye I'm devestated.
