I sure have missed your videos. Understand how you feel. Remember to most of us who watch your channel , you are the reason. I will pray that gives you the assurance of what you do. Be blessed.
I have missed you and your family. I’m still growing and tending my Isons muscadine vineyard my hubby planted in 2010. Sons and grandsons help prune them but the picking is pretty well up to me. Hope to see you again.
Take all the time you need to chill. Your peace of mind is more important than anything. Tell Kimnem I said hello,👋 I love yaw and hope to catch you on the next one! ✌️💖🙏🙌🤜
We had my brother raise our 2 pigs this year so we could travel more. I imagine we will raise a couple of feeders next year. You have a full time job just dealing with those grapes! We have 50 or so and that's a lot of work. When it quits being fun, it's a job When the job doesn't turn a profit, you need to get out of that job. When the job cuts into your quality of life, get out of that job. We have cut back on a lot. Minimal garden. No pigs No quail. Focused on fruit trees and berries because they don't require every day attention. That allows us to travel more, fish more, hunt more, and visit more. Me and a buddy flew to TX this week to attend a funeral for the 28 year old grandson of our friend. He was absolutely shocked to see us at the visitation and his son said it lifted his spirits beyond belief. It's nice to have a friend with a plane. I'm headed to Isons next week to get some blackberries and a few fruit trees. Fishing season is upon us!!!!! Spend more time with those grandbabies and the rest of your family!!!
Shane, I can understand cutting back on animals. I had a rabbitry with close to forty almost all the time. The amount of time to feed, water, and handle every day was immense. No one in the family wanted to eat them (some strange mental block?) so I finally had to give it up. I have been missing your RU-vid videos but you were putting a lot out. I decided to try growing muscadines myself based on your videos. Thanks for all the guidance.
I just got around to watching your video. I totally get the burn out! Trying to maintain the farm, the animals, work a full time job and take care of the family is a lot of work and can feel overwhelming! It’s ok to shift priorities around and focus on the family. I’ve had to do the same thing. Y’all have done some amazing things!
Hey Shayne, I get it with the Pigs. I would have someone in our group put them on their property but I would have to bring the food scraps from work . Then find out no one watered or did anything thinking I would do it when I got off work😳. Well they didn't work 9 hr days on the weekend plus travel! The worst was when it was time to butcher everyone wanted the biggest Pig! I quit 🤣. I will miss seeing you ,thanks for the content over the years❣️. JO JO IN VT 💞
As much as we all love your videos do whats right for you and your family maybe one a week or a couple per month we. As your loyal friends and family support you
Pigs are a LOT of work, if you have ever had a dog getting into your garbage cans, imagine what a 300 pound pig can do, I’ve raised them also, I just don’t like pork that much!
Love your videos, Shane. Everybody is bailing on raising pigs. It's too expensive for the aggravation. Feeder pigs are the way to go. Six months and gone.
