Where is the active grill shutter located on a 2019-2022 Nissan Altima?? 

I haven’t changed mine before but usually that issue is covered under warranty at the dealership but I’m sure it’s not hard

@@Bones876 yeah I feel you but I think it’s a only a few bolts holding it in and you might see them when you remove the bumper. I have a video where I removed mine not to long ago and had it exposed but I’m with you buy one and replace it yourself for less money

@TheRealCountryBoyModz I've seen some people do it without removing the bumper. Did you find it necessary to do that?

@ericksalazar509 I never had to change it but it was getting replaced by some under warranty

​@ericksalazar509 if you mean that AC issue, yes I've figured the solution. It is not related to the shutter at all. The AC compressor has wired control valve(compressor's sensor) the issue in this valve. After changing it everything was solved.

Red Calipers look great just depends on how you do it

You have to prove it’s not rodent damage and try another dealership to get it covered under warranty.

Sheesh that’s a lot of money for a part that’s worth less than that. Hopefully you can find one off of eBay or something for your can and get it installed for less

@@halesbales529 if the grill shutter is stuck full open, yes ok to drive, my wife drove her Altima for a week with the grill shutter stuck open, before the grill was replaced. My local dealership charged me $426 for parts and labor. Was lucky the active grill shutter came in 4 days, instead of the month or more back order that was originally quoted.

Yes it should be if you are still under warranty

Oh trust me I know lol it’s just for the people who are out of warranty that need to know where it’s at… this is one of the most important parts on the newer Nissan models
