My favorite watch moment in film? Michael Douglas in ‘The Game’. He wore a Patek. There was a great scene where he’s trying to get back into the country from Mexico but doesn’t have his passport. The boarder agent says, “Someone with a watch like that doesn’t necessarily have a passport problem”

One of my favorite movies of all time. I remember they filmed a part of it on my block when I was living in the city. I have Criterion Collection on Blu-Ray and there is a fantastic closeup at the beginning of the film and the Patek's case back can be seen with the engraving. Very, very nice.

Coincidentally, I was snacking on some pistachios while watching this most excellent video. Breitling certainly nailed that color, it matches the nuts quite well. I'd like to see Tudor take the green dial from their gold BB58 and put it on a steel 58. I think that would look superb. I like green dials but I want my next watch to be a black dial BB58 as it looks far closer to a vintage Sub than a modern Rolex Sub does (I love four and five digit Subs, but I am not a fan of the maxi case). Keep up the great work, guys - the banter and schtick keeps getting better and better. You have become my favorite channel!

I have a Cartier Tank Francaise in two tone and I really like the bracelet. It looks like an actual tank tread which I can only imagine was done purposefully by Cartier. That Oris is amazing too! Great content guys!

One of my favorite watch movie moments has to be when Val Kilmer's Bruce Wayne answers a video call from Alfred through his JLC Reverso in Batman Forever, just the fun and imagination of it (it's basically an apple watch ahead of it's time) is one of the few things I really like about that movie. Also through the Dark Knight Trilogy Christian Bale also wears a Reverso and seeing as those films are more serious and Christopher Nolan is a watch guy who thinks every tiny detail in his movies, you can argue that a watch with two sides is prefect for a dual character such as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

The cotton candy Oris pieces kind of respond to the siren call set forth by the new Oyster Perpetuals, while offering so much more. The bezel, bronze, and date make them of course completely different, but those dials make it a head-to-head and Oris kinda wins for me.

Haha...wow...I grew up at the ponte vedra inn & club...my father actually designed the sweatshirt in this video in the late 70s/early 80s, first sold in the tennis shop at the club (I believe), before becoming the ubiquitous logo for the club writ large...

Hopefully they’ll chill out with all of the BB color ways and either update the Ranger in a smaller size or make the Pelagos thinner and maybe a tad smaller.

Jimmy Stewart in Rear Window when he checks the time on his Tissot. Gold plated looks so bad when it starts to turn. Tudor needs to bring back the Prince Big or the Tiger chronographs exactly 💯 like they were. I love the early years Daytona vibes they had. Even though they had a cyclops date 📅 window. With the Panda 🐼 dial beautiful

Maybe ceramic bezel..? Throw a ceramic bezel on the existing color ways and it moves even closer to overthrowing the SMP300. The BB is screaming for a ceramic bezel and a glide-lock style clasp, but there's no way Tudor will implement both anytime soon.

Maybe in 15-20 years from now. Tudor might go full luxury. Right now, Tudor is what Rolex use to be in the 60's & 70's... just without the gold/two tone Date Just/Day Date. They still need to bring the rest of their collections up to par with the Black Bay collection.

The 58 will never go 'loud' it is a vintage inspired line, hence the conservative styles thus far. If it happens it will be the 41 line IMO.

In June I bought a Tudor black bay Harrods edition (harrods green) only stocked in London Harrods,limited supply etc one of the sickest watches out there for less than £3k
