Hello, I’m Marlan Rico Lee. I’m an Engineer and Producer here in the United States who has my own accomplishments even though I am the younger cousin of the famous Jackson family (Michael Jackson namely.) I’ve been recording professionally for over 30 years and although I’ve recorded most genres of music and sports I find it very educational and entertaining to watch your channel. The best teachers are the ones who care bout you learning and retaining the information they are conveying to their audience. I chose to continue to watch and learn about audio interfaces, mics, and software. You Rock dude and I really mean it.
Hey man! Wow! Thanks so much! I’ve been a Michael Jackson fan since 1982 and this just made my day! I’m going to look you up! Thank you so much for stopping in to write that. Cheers!
@@TheRecordist Sure, go ahead and look me up, just keep teaching, I've been recording for 35 years, and I'll say you seem to know far more about equipment usage and specs than I do. Gotta give up the funk where the props are due. Thanks again for your guidance.
@@Marlan-n9v wow. Thanks for saying so, Marlan! I appreciate it! And stay tuned for this Monday. There might be a video with a little about the differences between the Dachman DA 87i and the Stam SA-87i. 🤓
Yep, you always want to Town treat your room or You're recording is not going to sound professional, you want to get rid at least most of the reaper but better yet if you can get rid of all of it they're recording should sound great even if your just using a decent microphone. Good short my man good short
@@TheRecordist yep, I had to edit that post because man it came out of jumbled mess lol so many spelling mistakes that somehow I didn't notice. Anyways again good video
Sir, were you on set with Robert Ne Diro back in the Palanski days? In Asia? Love your work, just found it. My room is terrible. I was thinking mkh400 for noise. Real issue here in Asia is Aircon!
Hahaha. Thank you very much! Oh yes, air conditioners are a pain. You’re not going to fix that with a mic. Some plugins might work. But generally, I just turn off the air before I record and turn it back on when I’m done.
