Hey people! Just a quick video about my thoughts on Tires! I talk about the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R, the Goodyear Supercar 3r and the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2!

Agree the 3R is an amazing tire and has always been my favorite as well....until the Nankang CRS vs2 came out. The treadwear on the CRSv2 is a 200 versus the Goodyear 100 but is amazinignly sticky but lasts twice as long as the 3R. Try them out...they will match your lap times and last additional sessions....but you MUST break heat cycle them first. Enjoyed the video :)

Agree 100% with your thoughts Cup2 vs SC3R. Tracked both on my C8. Same 1-1.5 sec per lap better on SC3R. That tire also much more precise turn-in. I haven’t run Trofeo’s on my C8 but have on another car. They are very similar to the SC3R. As we say in MN ‘A horse apiece. Good review. Thanks.

I want to try the 3Rs. The last tires I tried were Nankang AR1s and CR1s. Both of those were really good

I think the cup 2 are in a different class of tire. Have you compared the goodyear supercar 3 vs the cup 2?

you are right and it was kind of unfair of me to put the michelin up against tires that were 100 tw and 60 tw, while the cup 2 is 180tw. I have never compared the cup 2 vs the supercar 3 directly, but I can say I was a big fan of the supercar 3 when i ran it on an ss1le car.

No, I haven't driven on either one of those. A friend of mine was running CR1's on 315 squared on a c5z and really likes them.

I have a 1000wheel gt500. Do a lot of rolls, those ps4whatevers are dog water. Want to go nitto 555r2 but i like to go around corners too. U think the sc3r could hook on a roll? Better than that dogwater ps4s

Truthfully, no. I found the sc3rs to be shit on the street. Now saying that, maybe where I live the streets are just greasy or something, but I felt like I was always spinning on the streets.

I track a ZL11LE and nothing beats the SC3R.

I have been driving at my local track competitively for 7 years now. I do on average 15 to 20 track days a year. I would turn approximately 30 to 60 laps per track day. I did not film every single lap I have ever done, that would be a ridiculous waste of video.
