I plan to make a video this weekend in salt water if weather is not too bad. I like to teach people but not so good at it. I just went into the business of selling detectors because I like them so much. I hope to make other videos with other detector Brands and models.

+michael smith I hate to hear that. I only went the water a few inches deep. the lowest I adjusted it to was 4. I did not know it will not work in water with salt. I have an Garrett AtX I take in deeper water. I can hear the waves when the come over but still can hear the target louder. but with that machine there is no real dis. I know the Garrett AT pro does not work good in salt but works good in fresh water.

I found some pennies and quarters in the wet sand with it. Have to turn tracking on ,cannot lock it in the wet sand or it will false. I turn the sensitivity down to 7. think its only good for 6 inches in wet salt sand

4 stars out of 5. I have both AT pro and Mx sport. The AT Pro has found me lots of stuff and I love it but I can't get it to work in salt. The mx sport with ground tracking works good but not as deep as other high end machines that I hear about. The MX sport Id is nice and gets it right most of the time if the coun is not on edge
