Hello from Massachusetts in America! In my opinion, this is definitely the best version of the Star Spangled Banner I've ever heard due to the combination of Whitney's phenomenal vocal performance, the amazing musical arrangement and the vibe in that stadium because it was just after the start of the first Gulf war. As many times as I've seen this, I'm always on the verge of tears by the end. On a side note, you'll be happy to know that there's a large number of people with Finnish heritage in the town where my office is and in a town a few miles away in New Hampshire. We even have a park in town called Saima Park. Hyvää päivän jatkoa! 😁

You missed the copy at the beginning of the video. It explained when and where she sang this and why it was so important as well as it being released 10 years later after 9/11.

In kindness, may I suggest not talking over the song? The orchestral arrangement was also a phenomenal accompaniment. It's just a little difficult to follow the subtalties with the voiceover.

Protocol in our country for our national anthem is that you really are not supposed to be speaking you are supposed to be singing along or listening to the song you never want to speak or interrupted in any kind of way that is disrespectful very disrespectful
