Dehumidifiers use compressors. They’re essentially half of an air conditioner. They are not much more efficient than using an AC.

How much did the whynter arc-14s increase your monthly bill as compared to your regular monthly bill without the ac?

I need this in my garage asap. I have a 1.5 car garage (370) sqft. This Newair unit is not doing the job.

Why would you buy a portable ac? Looks like your garage would be better suited for a different set up. Walls enclosed,looks like you obviously spend time in there and have $$$ invested. Makes little sense why you would go thru this with a portable ac unit!
