In this episode, we get to interview the fabulous McArthur Krishna!! McArthur wrote a book about Heavenly Mother after much research and WOW, she has some incredible information that you don’t want to miss.
In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe in Heavenly Mother and Heavenly Father. We mostly refer to Heavenly Father as “God” and don’t speak much about Heavenly Mother. However, McArthur points to lots of information about Heavenly Mother that we may have skimmed over.
We also talk about McArthur’s journey to writing her book about Heavenly Mother. We’re so grateful for her book as well as her interviewing with us.

I’m one of those people that was raised on that “hogwash” and I don’t appreciate it being called that. I have no doubt about the fact that I have a Heavenly Mother! Is it so bad that I think I’m being respectful of her by not talking about or to Her constantly? Does it say anything about the fact that there isn’t a whole lot told about Her? It’s awesome that leaders of the church talk about Heavenly Mother but have all or even most of them talked about Her? I feel Her all the time but I don’t feel a great need to tell everyone about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️😊

Wonderful topic and so true! Throughout the history of mankind, we've lived in such patriarchal societies that the talk of Heavenly Mother was squashed, which makes no sense but that's what happened. Great to see McArthur and others reveal the truths of Heavenly Mother and for General Authorities educating us on how women hold the priesthood as a full-time missionary, Temple worker, and other instances where the priesthood is required for the calling. I hope these topics continue to expand.

Here's my take... The sacredness, and divinity of our Heavenly Mother is very real. We are literally commanded to not use The Lord's name in vain, right? Since He is the Ultimate Father, AND Husband, it makes sense that He loves Her so much, that the thought of Her name being blasphemed is just so unacceptable, that He would much rather take the brunt of the inevitable blasphemes, even though He's gonna give us a list of commandments. Think about it like this. Have you ever had a child say something out of hurt, or malice, that just made you cry? (Like "I hate you") I remember the first time I told my mom I hated her. (I was a hot mess teenager with lots of issues.) ...It broke her heart. Even though she deep down knew I still loved her...it still hurt. So, fast forward to my role as a mother: When my daughter told me she hated me... I knew it wasn't true I knew that she was just hurting. But it broke my heart...so much, that I called my mom and cried and told her I was so sorry for all the horrible things I said as a kid. She forgave me for it the moment it happened, because she knew I was a kid, but... there was this healing for both of us, I think, that only happened after I acknowledged that I hurt her so many times, and was completely ignorant to the effects that it had on her. 🤔 So, in my opinion, I completely understand the concept of "Sacred Feminine" (Heavenly Mother) being a topic that isn't necessarily "secret" or "hidden" but SACRED and shielded. Let me tell you remind you all about the dynamics of (good) parenting. Kid says "I hate you! " to their mom. Mom cries. Dad jumps up, and says "Don't you EVER talk to your mother like that again. Do you understand me? She is your MOTHER. You can use your words, and describe why you feel so angry, but don't talk to your mom like that." How is Heavenly Father gonna jump in every time someone decides to curse Her name, when they have a tragedy, or stub a toe, or get in trouble, or even worse...in a sexual, or violent or perverse way? While I appreciate the love and thought that went into this, I still firmly believe that She is definitely kept on the highest of regards in terms of "Why we don't casually speak of Her." HOW we regard Her is absolutely 💯 important.

( I would include everything i would like to say here, but just the very tip of the iceberg is already a wall of words. Nevertheless, this should still be an interesting read for those who have the time to read it ) There are Heiros Gamos verses throughout the revelation and old testament in a disguised manner for a sealing up until the last days to notice it fully. That being about the divine Masculine and Feminine in Unity. That of which everyone who is saved with Salvation, would at least embody this 12D state of consciousness. ( The creation of the universe of all its shapes from energy forms is 12 dimensions ) Revelation 12 talks about The Divine mothers crown of 12 stars, with her child as the Divine Masculine coming into play as the Divine Masculine aspect of herself. The Holy City Jerusalem/Zion is also always a symbolic reference to the Divine Mother. She is also refereed to that as The Earth and Sea Mother, as well as The Holy Spirit of the Absolute, as well as the Spirit of Comfort and The Wife of God, as well as The Spirit of Truth. ( Eve is called The MOTHER that brought forward all LIFE. Thus directly reference to The Earth Mother for what brings forward all living things from Herself ) ( The bible also directly states that God is Spirit, and The Spirit is the Breath of Life. The female aspect of The Absolute is the Heart. Whereas the male aspect is the Mind ) The texts also say that God is Love, and all the commandments rest upon having unconditional Love/Charity of all Life. Adam and Eve are described as the fallen aspect of the Divine Masculine and Feminine. Whereas The Everlasting Mother and The Everlasting Father are the Eternal Salvation references. That of which The Christ Son and Daughter are the manifested Aspects of Salvation. The Bride in Revelation, and of various parts of the bible like the song of Solomon, are direct references to the Divine Feminine Christ form. Whereas the Groom is the divine masculine Christ form. The verse that states about the Rod and Staff in Psalms 23, would be a direct reference to the unity of the masculine ROD, and the feminine STAFF.

@Doc-Pleroma-naut
@Doc-Pleroma-naut 4 года назад
Ummm....The Hogwash is still stinking up the joint. One thing we can certainly learn from this is the development of the doctrine of Heavenly Mother is that false doctrine tends to grow and to get worse over time. At first JS taught that God had a spirit body that looked like ours but was not flesh and bones. He affirmed that there was only one God and that all things were created by God alone. But his theology changed. Human beings went from created physical beings to created spiritual beings and then to uncreated spiritual intelligences. The Father went from a personage of spirit to a personage of flesh and bones to an exalted Man. God the Father went from being God from all eternity to being a mortal man who attained Godhood by his exaltation. The number of Gods went from one to two, from two to three, and at the end of Joseph’s life to an uncountable number of Gods, including Gods "before" Heavenly Father. This doctrine appears to be a simply result of that doctrinal development (i.e. confusion). Once God the Father had been conceptualized as a male human being with a flesh-and-bone body like ours with his own divine Father, and humans had been conceptualized as the Father’s children in heaven, it was a natural next step to conclude that our spirits had a Mother in heaven. JS’s logic by which a father who has a son must also himself have a father led to the conclusion that where there is a father there must also be a mother. The doctrine of a Heavenly Mother is false, but the real problem lies in the Mormon conception of the Christian God. Having made the Gods in man’s image as literally beings of the same kind, Mormonism was bound to make the Gods male and female - it's a simple logical consequence of a confused theology. Where in the Bible or the other scriptures of the LDS Church does it mention a heavenly mother? Not only do the LDS scriptures never mention a heavenly mother, but they also say some things that point to the conclusion that we do not have literal heavenly parents. For example, the BofM refers ten times to Adam and Eve as “our first parents” (1 Nephi 5:11; 2 Nephi 2:15; 9:9; Mosiah 16:3; Alma 12:21, 26; 42:2, 7; Helaman 6:26; Ether 8:25). Since it never qualifies this description in any way (for example, by calling them “our first parents on earth”), the natural way to take these words is that Adam and Eve were literally our very first parents. Don't you think "heavenly mother" would be mentioned at least somewhere in scripture? Imagine you were separated from your parents at birth and then when you were an adult you met some people who knew them. Would it not be odd if they talked repeatedly about your father but never even mentioned your mother?

I am only one and the Father of my blood children that does not mean that there cannot be more fathers The same is true with our Heavenly Father he is only one and the Father of our spirit. But that does not mean that tut here cannot be more fathers in heaven to. It makes great sence to me But if I new everything I would be a God. I am not a God but nearther is a baby an adult. A baby can not even wipe its own bottom. Truly the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. Let's all see what we can do to become like our Heavenly parents.
@ronbrewer3493
@ronbrewer3493 2 года назад
Tell me what is fauls about believing that men and women both keep their babies after resurrection. I say why come to earth get a body if we can not keep it after resurrection. Remember that the essence or purposes of life is growth and to become and to overcome. That baby can grow up and become an adult. We can grow up and become like our Heavenly Father. Let's be wise and not limit our potential.

I think the Holy Spirit is God the Mother. She is the third person in the Godhead. The Godhead is a nuclear family, not a father, son and a random third person. Mormonism is entirely about family. Procreation is an act of creation and is the first act of godhood. When you feel the spirit, it's the love of Heavenly Mother.

I do prayer before I come to conclusions like this. I am yet waiting for confirmation from our prophets as well.

Sorry bro, there is no doctrinal evidence of the Mother and the Holy Spirit being the same person. We know that heavenly Mother is a being like the Father which means that she must have an exalted body as he does. D&C 130:22 states specifically that the Holy Spirit is a personage of spirit so he couldn’t be the Mother because she has a body. Nephi himself saw the Holy Spirit and directly identified the Spirit as being male in 1 Nephi 11:11.

@@davidjanbaz7728 Well, technically speaking, we believe there are far more than just 4 gods, there are infinite in fact, as expressed by Abraham 4. The scriptures teach that we are the literal offspring of god (Acts 17:28-29), and Jesus himself called us gods (John 10:34). Further more the scriptures teach again that men and women are joint heirs unto the grace of life (1 Peter 3:7). We are very on top of the fact that men and women are equal partners, Bruce C. Hafen and his wife, Marie, explained: “Genesis 3:16 states that Adam is to ‘rule over’ Eve, but this doesn’t make Adam a dictator. … Over in ‘rule over’ uses the Hebrew bet, which means ruling ‘with,’ not ruling ‘over.’ … The concept of interdependent, equal partners is well-grounded in the doctrine of the restored gospel. Eve was Adam’s ‘help meet’ (Genesis 2:18). The original Hebrew for meet means that Eve was adequate for, or equal to, Adam. She wasn’t his servant or his subordinate.” Earl C. Tingey, has said, “You must not misunderstand what the Lord meant when Adam was told he was to have a helpmeet. A helpmeet is a companion suited to or equal to the other. They walk side by side … not one before or behind the other. A helpmeet results in an absolute equal partnership between a husband and a wife. Eve was to be equal to Adam as a husband and wife are to be equal to each other.” Man and woman are commanded to be "one flesh" to "cleave to each other" and NO ONE ELSE (Genesis 2:24). "And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." (Mark 10:8-9) So we suppose that God the Father and Goddess the Mother are so much one flesh, of one heart and one mind, that they may as well be one being and yet are they separate. Make no mistake, women do indeed become goddesses along side their husbands who become gods, WE ARE NOT SEXIST IN THE LEAST BIT. We are also to understand that the doctrine of there being a Heavenly Mother, a Goddess beside the God, is not an exclusively LDS doctrine but is also believed by Methodist Preacher Margaret Barker: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ilF9NXEl6Xs.html

So when you carefully examine the written knowledge's of essentially every world belief itself, for what their texts really say.
