And Backseat bet it all on Birdo, a Mario character that was not nearly as popular as Waluigi, and Sora ended up being the final fighter. Sora, a character from Disney which Smash fans including myself thought would have been banned for being owned by a non-video game company. It was impossible for me to take the requirement "Must originate from a video game" literally because Lucario broke that rule, so I interpreted it as coming from a video game publisher. But maybe Sakurai's word shouldn't be taken so seriously? First he said Ridley was too big for Smash yet Ridley made it into Ultimate. Anything is possible. And what Backseat is doing isn't math. Math involves numbers. To make guesses based on math, use percentages, not boxes that your characters have to fit into. Also a nudist character is very unlikely in a E10 rated game.

I can picture already that if the next fighter doesn't fit 2 out of 3 formulas, or even any of them at all, Backseat would make one final attempt in predicting the last character, and if that prediction is wrong as well, him finally admitting defeat and having to admit that this sorta stuff cannot be 100% predicted

@@ArendAlphaEagle I think fashion is probably going to be the thing that breaks first especially because if you take out fashion we can get sore in the game finally and I want him to be the last DLC fighter so that way we can make a joker reference to the whole fact that you know joker steals people's hearts sore literally brings Kyrie's heart back to her in the original game when he releases his heart I just find that poetic but also it could be a world ends with you character that can also fit with joker considering both games take place in Shibuya

@@davidalicea6705 I personally want Rayman in the game, and his inclusion alone would break both his Classic formula (he's not from the East) AND the Fashion one (he wears both gloves and shoes).

There's a "No Top" in the other row, so he passes that part. However he still fails in Platformer and No Gloves.

We've already stretched the definition of platformer to be "Game with a jump button" Kazuya does have that.

To be fair Dante and Morgan are the two Capcom characters to appear in the most crossover games if you take out the Street fighter characters and the only reason why Street fighter has so many representation is the fact that Street fighter was just happened to be what the first Capcom crossover games was Street fighter and marvel crossovers so if you take out that in just a Capcom crossing over the franchise games then you get these characters next to the Street fighter characters

Or Rayman. Both he and Crash only successfully pass Formula 3 with their four-fingered hands, but neither are Eastern-made despite them both being Platformers, and both wear gloves AND shoes despite Rayman having a shirt and no pants, and Crash having pants but no shirt.

I’d be surprised if Crash doesn’t get in. I wouldn’t be a angry toxic punk about it, just disappointed.

@@BackseatYT There was evidence using the Nintendo site pointing towards potential evidence of one last DLC character after the Fighter's Pass is over (long story short, url manipulation showed another slot). I'm almost positive this is going to be 1) a trailer of a ton of characters on Battlefield and Rayman breaking out of the ice, or 2) Waluigi because memes I can still dream for Sora though, even though Sephiroth probably killed the dream...

The formula would've still been broken by the fact that Rex, Pyra and Mythra are from the 2010s, and both of the 2010s spots available were already filled in by Min Min and Steve.

@@ArendAlphaEagle He had a cation state on the old calculation allowing any character to break 1 category, especially towards the end. If you look at the previous Math video he put Pyra/Rex in this category.

Sephiroth actually fit the math pretty well. It was P/M that made things complicated.

I think that the way he calculates the math for decades is way off and pyrah and mythra started as a both character but the gameplay ended that so she still works

I wonder if *classic Sonic* will be one of the dlc. All the other sonic characters are assist trophies or some kind of sticker. Sonic is the only sonic character on smash for a long time, while other characters have more than one character from their game.
