Pete: Quote of the day: "We have fun makin them (videos). AND we have fun watching your hijinks Pete. you have a good set of friends who share your passion. Good One.
Good race like to see it on a lake longer run. Have 1100 myself with 1-4 stages up to 300 hp on meth. Was thinking about trying thundercat keep my 1100 of course lol!! Good stuff keep up the great work Thanks Josh G
Enjoy watching all the videos, entertaining as well as educational, the wife enjoys them too, is there anyway we can get some stickers down here in western Maryland?
Hi ! Well it all depends on the condition of the track of course ! cuz i tried my V-Max 700 tripple on a real hard 1/4 mile with a American radar and way before hitting the 1/4 mile i was topping 97 miles an hour ! it was so cold that the snow beside the track was so hard ( hard from the cold ) not ice just real snow compacted by the temp of -30c ! When i was riding on the lake beside the track, the snow wouldn t feed in the track and when i stopped the slides were so hot they were melting and got stuck on the track ( bridge ) and didn t realized till i try going again but didn t go nowhere ! I had to flip the sled on its side and unstuck one by one, even i forgot to unstuck one of it and couldn t move ! So i fifured teflon wouldn t melt like nylon ! Still didn t bye teflon slides but since they are due to change, that s my next purchase ! Teflon slides ! So your sled were spinning all the way ! can t tell the real speed ! too bad ! hey ? lol hsve a nice day guys ! 🥶
what ya think i need for my 13 1100 pro has clutch fan and boondocker 250 programer? just got on trade and sorta know some things that go wrong on them but any tips tricks apreciated. from Northern B.C Canada🤘
I'd have to double check with Jp but I think he has the turbo dynamics multi map or jukebox which is fully selectable on his dash. he also has the upgraded turbosmart blowoff valve as well. 🍻
Will an SRX engine fit in a venture? Wondered what it would be like having a venture hopped up 2 up. Looking to build a sled this summer to take up to Hanmer&Capreol to see my wife's family. Definitely has to be a Yamaha and I cannot bring myself to run a four stroke. I know they're more powerful but I like the ease and simplicity of a two-stroke.
I'm sure it would fit...just not sure if it would be a straight bolt in though. ya might have to do some fenagalin to get her all hooked up and goin but where there's a will there's a way! 🍻
This past winter my friend and I went out to check our traplines and spent the night out about 90 plus miles from home. I have a 91JagDlx440LT LowGear, my buddy got a new '23 850EFI. Next morning I hitched his sled load of wood to mine and behind his sledload we hitched his 850EFI. I filled my tank with AVGAS to make a 50/50 AVGAS/85Reg for that extra umph I needed for the trek home. We were going 10 to 20 miles AVG and made it home. His battery died due to the -40 weather.
Hey .Peter Rooter. Is the Horseshew lake Rader run March 17'18 in just up in hurdvill on Manitowabing lake 12 acres and a great flat hard ice sled drag track right in front of my house it's the Gabbster from FTFM GARAGE fix That Friging Machine I'll see ya at the races
I knew a guy who got out of speeding tickets all the time if he got radared when it was snowing or raining. Don't know if it would apply your yours since I don't know how they work I would imagine it's similar. But lifting 1 ski like he was I'd imagine that's a shit ton of power. I think that 1100 dangles plenty. Put JP on it and see if he can keep it straight. Keep I'm mind that I own a cat but would buy a sidewinder long before I would touch an1100 turbo
I have a 09 Z1 1100 Turbo. Love the sled, very reliable. I can run with a lot of the newer sleds pretty easy. Only bad part is she is pretty heavy. (I'll leave the snappy response to Pete...LOL) Thanks for making the vids.
116 octane in stage 4 and 110 octane in stage 3. Stage 2 is 93 and stage 1 is stock. And really need head studs and clutches. I have a 16 with 1 3/4” track and 288 studs boy studs with pro backers and it is my favorite trail sled by far. 5500miles and counting.
haven't found any good ice tracks out on a lake yet...we were on one last weekend but it was just a snow track and wasn't getting much traction. still hoping we can get on some ice before winter is over 🍻
